Hi

Im now 9 days past ovulation with a BFN using first response this morning yet my breast are unusually large. They are quite painful from right after ovulation until AF.

My husband and I have been TTC since Dec 08 and MC at 14 weeks in June, now almost 9 months ago, i am of course dissapointed when AF arrives each month but what kills me more is this dreaded TWW

Would be keen to vent my 'phantom' symptoms with aynone else

Keep me updated on your time out period.

I hate cliches and when we mc it was constanly cliche cliche cliche

your time will come
good things happen to those who waitThey happen when you least expect it
you need to relax more!

How about fcuk off?

Well me, I feel absolutley normal (does normal exist)

Dh has gone away for over a week a skiing holiday, was never my thing. I have the house to myself, well the fishes and I.

I decided to by them to fill a void and only had them beg of March now not sure if we are handed a baby how id cope with them, but again helped me not to think about the days blah blah.

So im off to the in laws for dinner and then home to bed,

Looking forward to lots of sleep and knowing the house is exactly the way i left it.

A stress free week !

My breast are sore to sleep and enlarging but no other pains, sickness ...

One could get paranoid here and think, ahhhhh is everything okay but thats something else to fret about.

Everyone is different.

Enjoy whats left of the easter break...,

And get a fish!

19 degrees !!! Lovely ! It is supposed to snow here this week.

When i visited my accupuncturist he said am i charting and id said too that i was driving me around the bend knowing what day it was and when, all this numbers, i becamelike Rainman, so he said to relax more to forget the count, of which is easiest said than done.

On his advice though i leanred how to relax, he asked me what do i do to relax and i couldnt tell him.

What with a full time jobm running a house and a husband, a glass of wine is as far as i get.

I took up 'active relaxation' :

Yoga
Acupuncutre
Baths with candles (though they used to bore me to death)
Using self hypnosis, with an ipohone or i pod download them, you use counting methods to drift off into a deep state of relaxtaion.

You know how you always here, '' we had three rounds of ivf , couldnt afford anymore and gave up and then BINGO'

This is normally because the pressure is off and they have resided to the fact they may never be parents, as soon as the mind has space for a baby it lets you concieve.

Bored yet???

My Dr once said to me, if you are contacntly on the go and your mind always whirring, your body thinks'' im too busy for a baby''

It is also rewarding to be able to leave the washing up and just get in the bath, for you and for conception!

Enjoy your break Lucy

Lucy,

This month Dh and I had been astaining from you know, as he needed to provide two samples
for testing and was told no sex for 3 days before his pot experiance, so from the 4th first day of af we didn't get round to it until the 12th and once again in the 15th. Because we didn't catch last month having sex
10 times, I thought what bloody chance we got this month!

So ... (I'm getting there)... I didn't
test for ov or use preseed at all unlike how I did religiously the mth before, along with bloody yoga positions to keep it up there!!

I use an I phone app which gives you green days, fertile days, with ov day pinpointed at the 15th. We had sex 12th and 14th.

I guess as with other mths I ovulate on day
11 and then a 14'day leutal.

As I'd cast this month to a side so to speak I hadn't even thought about testing until evening of af was due, what a more pleasurable experiance than the bfn
everyday from 6 days before af due, as had been with the last 9 !!!

So perhaps as much as I f ing hate cliches

the old one of " it happens when you least expect it" rings true here.

Hope this helps, apols for any spelling, grammar issues, using iPhone

WLL

Hi to you, ahh the TWW, this month i had automatically passed of any hope so had not even thought about the TWW and then bingo.

Perhaps it may work to always think nah, not this month so the tww is not so bad.

Sending you love and luck

Cozie - so sorry, I kind of abandonned this thread and then saw your BFP on the Dec bus - congratulations!!

In terms of never knowing the outcome, I'll update you on me- it was neg for me last cycle, but now at the beginning of another 2WW and AF due around 9th April so you never know!

Congrats again

AmandaCooper · 30/03/2010 19:46

There's something quite special about reading an old thread right through from the start for the first time, and anticipating that at least one or two of the protagonists will be pregnant before the end. Anyone dipping into our "waiting to TTC" thread would be bored senseless!

AmandaCooper · 30/03/2010 19:32

Lol @ a clearer line! I'd probably be the same! It must take a while to sink in.

I'm waiting to TTC DC1 in December, by which time I should have saved up enough money to cover my loan repayments while I'm off work for six months on statutory maternity leave. Your LO will be here by then!

Cozie · 30/03/2010 13:26

The whole TTC game is an absolute panic, i spend weeks on these sites comparing phantom syptoms, the am i arent i game is soooo hard. The last two weeks are not amusing!

My husband ''wants a clearer line''

As if 3 isnt enough! I have tried explaining they can only detect something if its there and its not the depth of the line that matters.

i will be sitting down with him and the instructions later to go through the levels of HCG and how they increase... !!!

I have used the dip test i had in the drawer and by all means they dont look the most scientific, i think men need it in laymans terms and he has gone hunting for BOGOF ''pregnant'' ''not pregnant'' tests!!

I am feeling good, the last pregnancy before was easy up to the 14 week MC, no sickness etc just the breasts.

To be honest im happy with whatever this one wants to throw at me!!!!!

Can i ask what your position is?

xx

I have very naughtily strayed out of the "Waiting to TTC" thread - I normally try not to read the other threads in the Conception Forum, as they tend to send me into a blind panic - but I'm so glad I read yours!

How are you feeling? How did your DH take the news? You must be over the moon!

Cozie · 30/03/2010 11:27

Awww Amanda thats nice to hear.

Your right i read and read these and think - wonder how she got on

So was keen to share the news!

TTC for 2 years, 1 MC and now some good news !

How come you find yoruself on here?

God congratulations how weird is that, I never read this thread before and when someone said something like "you never hear the result" I thought "no you so rarely do" and then just like that BFP! Fantastic! It's made my day has that!

Cozie · 30/03/2010 08:30

Ladies

last night and today, I got it......... Three times BFP !!!!! Xx

HI cOZIE
I'm so sorry for your loss, its something I've never experienced so I can't imagine what you went through.

My AF was due on the 5th March also, I have had stomach cramps thurs/fri but no AF! I have a regular 28 day cycle to the day every month, is it possible to have your period with cramps and no blood loss? sorry if I sound really stupid. I'm not sure whether got any symptoms or not................boobs are normal, have felt tired but thought that was my AF coming, the only thing strange is that my sense of smell has increased and I feel really nauseus when I smell something really overpowering.

Cozie · 05/03/2010 20:43

Lucy

thank you for your sweet words, off to some friends in london for dinner, and will enjoy a large wine or two

thanks again xx
