Polly is it just me or did you feel lots of poking sensations in the tummy region after the acupuncture?

Loujalou · 16/03/2010 17:18

Think I need to get in some SWI soon. Am only on day 7 though.

I am in a mood today. Convinced I'll never bloody conceive. Lucky I have got hypno today. Not sure even that can make me more positive. Have hit a new low.

Morning all,

How is life in the world of ttfc? Last 'go' yesterday for a bit - time to give dh a break for a few days, time to charge up a bit. Not to mention my poor ladybits.

ah well.

Clomid sounds scary, fairy (hey, I rhyme!). Good luck either way - hope none of us have to stay here for too long (nice as it is, especially with all the cake)!

Thank you Umbungo & Lucy, Lucy, like I said on the clomid thread no monitoring, on it for 6 months, had lots of side effects, have PCOs so I don't know if I have every ovulated since coming off the the pill 6 years ago as this was when the PCOS symptoms arrived, before clomid I had random cycles, on cloid it averaged 29 days, I don't have any children either but 6 godchildren, the Cons has put me forward for IVF so taken me off clomid, although it made me ovulate nothing stuck!

xxx

Congratulations on the ovulation FairyG! Enjoy the swi this evening!

Fairygodmother1 · 15/03/2010 18:59

Hi girlies,

I think I'm ovulating on my own (without clomid) so def SWI tonight! Cheers to the sore bits!

Digi I don't know how true this is but apparently the baby doesn't share your blood etc for 6 weeks. So could be ok. I think that Sat is prob too early to test if 27th is your calculated day!.

How's everyone?

xx

Illness has taken hold of the DG household too. Ds ill and not sleeping well, which impacts on swi as well as our window of opportunity (after ds bedtime and before our bedtime) is taken up with resettling a wailing ds. And I've been ill since Friday anyway so definitely no action here not even for fun. However I am utterly convinced I am now 6dpo as cervix has reliably stayed shut.

Shouldn't really test till the 27th, but have a dinner party this Sat and want to drink if not pg otherwise everyone will think I am pg as they all know we're ttc. Is there a way I can convince myself not to test this Sat as I really don't want to...

Unbuffy · 15/03/2010 15:10

Lucy maybe we should set up an ebay account selling OPKs and HPTs. We could make a fortune and that would just be from Lia let alone the rest of them! Hey there.

Lucy got extended cover but it's about seven years old so my dh said I can 'treat myself' to a new bigger one !

My dd has been having medised since she was a baby(before they changed guidelines) and I have only ever give it at night ,it has been very much my saviour!

As for swi giving it another go tommorow night as dh has to work away all next week! Really don't care if he's i just need pre seed and five minutes of his time.

Been too busy getting that image of you on the toilet knickers around your ankles with the foxy fireman trying to rescue you out of my head Iced to be able to type.

My DH is dying of man-fluenza but is well enough to go and get Dominoes - go figure.

Icedlemonmuffin · 13/03/2010 19:45

Hellooooo!

Wow it's very very quite here, hope you haven't all been having a rummage and got your hands stuck

OP posts:
Icedlemonmuffin · 12/03/2010 21:34

I phoned nhs direct using my hands free kit lol

Can you imagine all those firemen turning up while I've got my knickers round my ankles!!

I would also be worried about my cervix shutting while my fingers were up there, do you think your cervix is strong enough to chop off your finger?!!!

My message is leave your cervix to the pros, it can be dangerous in the wrong hands!

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 12/03/2010 21:32

I do not recommend cervix chasing! It's my last resort, but has quickly become the bain of my life. I'm unable to examine any sort of change in cm now without having a quick rummage, I wish I could stop but i can't I need answers. Short of buying a flippin ultrasound machine and doing daily scans on my ovaries, it's my only way of at least knowing when I am officially late. I suppose I could just poas once a week, but how depressing to get bfn after bfn?

Anyway cervix update. No more ewcm and cervix was closed low and very firm this evening. So the yoyo-ing has stopped for now. And hopefully so has the bouncing of the creaky spare bed. I am going by 3dpo and sticking to it.

Wondered if my new found rummaging skills will prove useful if I ever manage to get pregnant again...'yes, yes I am now 5cm dilated so fill up the birthing pool...'
