My temperature still seems high-ish. I have been taking a few very early in the morning as I have been waking too early and going back to sleep. Not sure whar to think anymore. Don't think I am pregnant as have had period but you know me I like to have dellusions! here is my ff page.

digitalgirl · 20/03/2010 17:56

Lack of control...yes, I think this is why I've been thinking about starting running again next cycle. Running and eating much healthier. Not for getting pg but for me, I need a boost.

Congrats on your neice polly umbongo I watched embarrassing bodies last night and the nice doctor man went for a sperm analysis, he recommended that if any aspect of the results come back below average that he should definitely go back for a repeat test as men can have 'off days'

Fairygodmother1 · 20/03/2010 17:37

umbongo I replaced DH's pants over a year ago for air flow onces rather than sexy jockies (see TTFC does take the romance out of sex) & i'm still not up the duff!!!!

Pol I hate the out of control feeling & don't really know whats normal...ARGH!!!!!

How's everyone's saturday?

UmBongo · 20/03/2010 13:38

i'm still here! Just haven't had many minutes to self to come on here for a moan without either dh looking over my shoulder or ds saying Whats that? and pointing to all the emoticons!!

Well, dh finally went for his results on Thursday morning and it took til 10pm before we had an opportunity to talk (sorry, before I asked) about them! His sperm count is good, but they are lazy little swimmers apparently, he is being referred to consultant to have his goolies checked out for infection, he did mutter something about having his bits felt, so I felt the need to point out that after I had ds I had my boobs felt by every midwife in town and came round after fainting after having given birth to find some bloke stitching up my ladybits! He shut up about having his goolies checked after that! So I feel that we are progressing a bit! Makes me feel a bit better for the period arriving AGAIN. I hope the doctor told him to have more sex as well! (but I haven't dared ask that one yet?!) I now need to go out and buy him some boxers to replace all his pants with!

PollyPoo · 20/03/2010 09:50

I know it is not 'healthy' but I can't help hating my body and the way it is failing me. Makes me so mad that I can't control it!

yes where is everyone? Where is Lia?

Loujalou · 20/03/2010 09:40

Well I was having 11 days lp without bleeding. It was starting on 12 and my lp was 13 days. Had a 13 day lp this time but spotting started on day 10. WTF! See that is why I think they like to play tricks on us.

I think we have scared the rest of them off. Where are you all? Come back we will talk about electrical appliances again. Well maybe not.

PollyPoo · 20/03/2010 09:36

Thanks Lou. I am hardly a good advert for TCM am I?! Then again it takes 3 months to take full effect and I've got another month to go. I can't bring myself to give up yet.

You are not a mug Lou it has helped loads of people and there is no reason why it shouldn't help you.

I just don't understand why I had a longer cycle last month, but shorter again this month. I had expected another steady increase. It is so frustrating.

Loujalou · 20/03/2010 09:04

Pol sending you a hug. Won't call it an un-mumsnetty one as on another thread someone was complaining that hugs seem quite common on mumsnet and therefore we should just send hugs. Bastard bodies. They like playing with us. Maybe the clomid will help...

Not sure what to do about TCM. Think I might ditch it. Can cope with the needles just not taking herbs which probably won't work. Feel like I have mug on my forehead and just spending money for the sake of it. Might just try it for this cycle and see what happens.

PollyPoo · 20/03/2010 08:59

Gar... the spotting started yesterday (CD23, 8DPO) and the RTOD is here with a vengeance. I am so bloody fucked off. I'm doing everything I can with supplements, treatments, herbs, diet etc and for what? I feel like setting fire to whole lot. When do I admit that this is never going to happen?

PollyPoo · 19/03/2010 10:33

Funnily enough I've been like that this month Lou. The thought of SWI filled me with absolute dread. I was really hoping the hypno CD would help with that but everytime I listen to it, I'm asleep within minutes so I doubt its having the desired effect!

Loujalou · 19/03/2010 09:32

Its funny cos when the dreaded witch came I was ok with it. Just now at SWI time I am falling apart. Oh well. Onwards and upwards.

PollyPoo · 19/03/2010 09:25

Hey Lou are you feeling better today? I do the chinese herbal stuff too - I nearly gagged the first time I tasted it but actually now quite enjoy.

I saw little Ava (Mai is the middle name Fairy) last night - my ovaries nearly exploded with joy. Normally other peoples babies actually put me off having more but I was vey vey broody indeed. If I am not pregnant this month I may have another a meltdown. I've kept up this pma since Nov so reckon I am entitled to a hissy fit this month... around about anytime now! Unless of course I manage to have a 28 day cycle this month, in which case it will be next Thurs (fingers crossed).

Loujalou · 19/03/2010 08:14

My friend who started trying at the same time as me had a baby boy yesterday. Probably didn't help me staying calm...

digitalgirl · 18/03/2010 20:20

Oh dear Lou why the tears? Did you just have a needles session? Do you think it releases some hidden emotions? Here is a fresh box of voddy-laced champagne truffles.

Icedlemonmuffin · 18/03/2010 19:13

Hope your ok Lou!

Ttfc is more of a marathon than a race and every month I really hope I'm going to make the finish line but then it moves!! Aarrrrrggggghhhhh !!!

Fairygodmother1 · 18/03/2010 19:06

Aww hugs Lou. Are there any more vodka injected chocs, think lou needs them.

I was given some from my acupuncture chinese man. tasted awful. What made you cry hon? xxx

Loujalou · 18/03/2010 18:03

Have just been given some chinese medicine things. Technical term. Am all a bit dubious. Sobbed on the way home from acupuncture - whilst driving so not having the best day ever. Sorry just having a vent. Supposed to be SWI but not sure i am in the mood.

Fairygodmother1 · 18/03/2010 17:23

Digi I feel I'm losing the race too! So bloody unfair! I can' even get over the first hurdle!

Pol I know a few recently named children that are Mai. Also where did this 2 named or double barrelled first names come from? Or is it just a middle name? Just sees like there are lots of kids with two first names.
Glad she's ok. 5lbs is tiny. 8lb-ers are always born in our family!

We SWI last night & got the white goods. Hope they serve their purpose lol.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

xxx

Loujalou · 18/03/2010 08:25

Pol glad your niece is ok. Not sure why people do stupid spelling things with their kids names either. At least it won't distract from cuddles. 5 pounds 8 sounds huge to me but then Adi was onl 4lb 9.

I suppose I should be SWI but TH is just recovering from tonsillitis and its his first proper day at work since last week. Don't think I will be ovulating til Monday so will pounce tonight.

PollyPoo · 17/03/2010 23:22

That sounds like a shit deal UmBongo - surely it would have only been polite to get you a BFP this month?!

Digi I also have to keep telling myself its not a race (even though it bloody well feels like it). And if it were a race I'd still be running it while the others had got their medals, packed up and gone home! Bah!

PollyPoo · 17/03/2010 23:19

Well my little niece was born at 4.30 this avo, weighing in at only 5lb 8oz! Bless! They have called her Ava Mai (why oh why can they not just call her Ava May?! I don't get it. But I will shut my mouth and just coo over her instead!)

UmBongo · 17/03/2010 22:17

Out of the group of antenatal mums I met with ds, 5 now have their dc2, one of whom arrived today, one is still preg, leaving me and 2 others, one of whom swears blind she is not having any more. So my friend got a baby and I got my period. Ho hum, lucky old me!

digitalgirl · 17/03/2010 21:01

pollypoo I'm at that stage where the mum friends I made since ds was born are either trying or already pregnant. It feels like race that I'm already losing because of my long cycles...

I can still be very happy for those announcing pregnancies with their first. So I'm not a complete cow.

No more swi for at least three weeks now. But I think we did as much as we could this month so when my period comes I can't blame dh.

I'm feeling very pre-menstrual already when I'm not due till the end of next week, where's that fridge catalogue? Pass it over.

Meanwhile I have some of those lindt truffles that I've injected with vodka. Anyone?

Fairygodmother1 · 17/03/2010 19:49

Hi girlies,

Know what you mean about the waiting game. My best friend has had 2, and numerous friends have had babies in the past 2 years that we've been ttfc!!!!

Just feels like it's never gonna happen but I'm gonna get those 'white goods' tonight cos I need to keep the odds up!!!

Polly Your friend sounds like one of mine. She has 5 kids now! lol.

xxx

Loujalou · 17/03/2010 15:14

I think I would like your friend. But at least we are in a better position than her. Kinda.

Got more needles tomorrow.

Wonder where Lia is maybe she is too busy looking after her kids and not going on mumsnet. She does have a whole lotta kids to look after.
