Well last night didn't go to plan - just heading up to bed when my bil turns up from work bringing beer for a catch up with dh. So that plan went out of the window! lol

xxx

Iced I need both & had lots of chocolate & alcohol a lot!!!! I think I'm on cycle 28 now!!! Feel like I'm going for a record! I'm with ya on the screaming!

Polly I'm with ya on the dodgy eggs, body playing tricks & EWCM more than you should! Because of my PCOS I cant use OPKs so only have CM to rely on!

Hope everyone had a great day!

PollyPoo · 04/04/2010 20:20

Hey y'all. Lou yes they know exactly how long we've been trying! Usually SIL is the most insensitive but she seems to have been on best behaviour and has not offered any unsolicited advice so I think someone had a word.

Fairy we are trying for no 2. It's been 23 or 24 cycles now. I think I must have dried up dessicated mummified eggs. I'm 38 so am feeling old and barren nxt to SILs obviously far superior eggs! Speaking of which I think my body is playing tricks on me - I have still not laid an egg this month despite getting the ewcm twice in the last week. Bastard body, grrr.

Had a lovely walk this avo in peak district and about to have dinner and cider so feeling more chilled now. Hope everyone else is having a good Easter!

Icedlemonmuffin · 04/04/2010 20:19

Hello

Cock tails is code word for cock! cocktail muffins and cock are best served with lots of chocolate and alcohol!

Been out today on a cadbury Easter egg trail, dd loved it but we walked miles! (maybe not but it felt like it)

Trying not to stress this month (cycle 12) but sick of hearing 'wow I'm pregnant we weren't even trying! How did that happen?'. I'm smiling but on the inside I'm screaming mean things very mean things!

Cock Tails needed!!!!! Hope Iced hasn't sampled too many of her own & is under her bar somewhere dreaming of eggs!

UmBongo · 04/04/2010 17:01

Or Cock Tail muffins as iced put it! I often wonder about those!! I have just bought an ipod, so you can borrow the cable for your hypno cd! Can you put them on my ipod as well while you are at it?

Thanks

Loujalou · 04/04/2010 16:44

Am making Chocolate oat cake which I have tasted before but never made. It is yummy. Think we need Iced back with her cocktail muffins. She could combine chocolate and alcohol to make some PMA.

Fairygodmother1 · 04/04/2010 16:01

Polly are you try for #1 or #2. #1 is proving so difficult for us!!!!
I know what you mean about insensitive family members. I also have a family memeber who, once preg, made out as though it was really difficult for her to fall pg & she was getting so worried incase she'd end up in the same situation as me! It actually, apparently, took her 3 months! I wanted to punch her to she felt a 10th of what I feel everyday!!!!!

I need some PMA! Does it come in chocolate or alcohol flavour???

Loujalou · 04/04/2010 12:20

So do they know you have been trying for ages Pol? If so he needs to be kicked in his balls, that might put their plans off track . I think I might have had to been restrained.

I got TH to talk to MIL as she kept asking when we were gonna have another. Seems to have done the trick.

I have no PMA anymore. Do yhave a cable so I can put my hypno tracks on iPod so that might help.....

PollyPoo · 04/04/2010 11:04

I agree fairy life is sooo unfair. We r up at SILs and I was doing alright until the evening when her boyf said they starting ttc no 2 this month and hopefully they will fall 1st month again as SIL wants to start mat leave nxt feb. Talk about rubbing salt in my wounds. He is the more sensitive of the two, so u can imagine wot she like! It was all I could not to A.punch him and B. run crying from the room. I couldn't sleep last nite for thinking how it's never going to happen, got myself ina right state.

we r staying until after lunch 2moro. I think by then my PMA will be lying broken in shards on the floor!

Fairygodmother1 · 04/04/2010 10:06

I know my bmi is too high but at size 14 top & 16 bottom I'm national average. It hurts that to get what I want I have to be 9st!!! I have friends that are heavier than me & they've all had between 1 & 4 children without any problem. I feel like not only do I have to deal with all the symptoms of PCOS (which is partly to do with my weight issues) but the indignity of fertility issues!!!!

Life is totally unfair!

Back to the chocolate!!!

Loujalou · 04/04/2010 09:06

Anyway Fairy I have a friend who tried 5 years for her first baby and then had the next one when her DS was less than 18 months old. She was told by a nurse that no wonder she couldn't conceive as she was too fat. Then never went to the doctors as she was too scared. When she went to see the consultant when she was pregnant with DS1 she was told that she should have gone to her GP for help.

Anyway the moral to the story is just cos you are struggling to conceive no 1 that doesn't mean you will struggle with another baby.

Fairygodmother1 · 04/04/2010 08:28

Aww big hugs Lou know exactly how you feel!

Bring on the chocolate fest

Loujalou · 03/04/2010 22:12

Another month another baby fail. Well that's what it looks like.

How are the rest of you at Easter? stuffed enough chocolate cake yet? At least when period is due I now have bona fide reason to eat chocolate not that I needed an excuse.

Fairygodmother1 · 02/04/2010 20:43

Polly had had on/off EWCM over a two week period this month & late by 10 days!

I don't do the cervix checking but total knicker checker every time i go to the loo - from day 1+!!!!

We've been trying for almost 2 1/2 years now so I'm totally happy to settle with only ever having one child. 2 would be a miracle!!! All I'm asking for is 1, that surely isn't being greedy is it????

Almost at the end of af by the looks of it so back to SWI and sore bits!!!!

Loujalou · 02/04/2010 15:41

I have never done that cervix checking its TMI for even me. Shock horror.

Am obsessed with knicker checking. Anyways no spotting yet. Though going round Ikea was a nightmare as just needed to check but couldn't.

Yay to no more sick Boo. Not sure about fake ovulation. Sometimes I have a few days of that EWCM before I ovulate.

I tell you what I am looking forward to about being pregnant apart from the baby at the end. An excuse to sleep after TH comes home. He even learnt to cook last time.

PollyPoo · 02/04/2010 12:21

Oh yes, and I am SOOOO looking forward to backache, morning sickness, lack of sleep, going off my favourite foods etc. It will all be worth it!

Lou go you and your PMA.

PollyPoo · 02/04/2010 12:18

Well we've had 24 hrs without puking, yay! And the sun has come out!

Does anyone ever get a 'fake' ovulation? Earlier this week I had 2 days of ewcm and cervix was all squishy and soft, then the ewcm dried up yesterday and cervix was all hard again. So I just thought I'd ov'd early and was kicking myself that we only SWI once, but at the same time was grateful I wouldn't be ov'ing at SIL's whilst sharing a room with Boo.

I was expecting a temp rise yesterday, or today at the latest, but no. So I just stuck my hand up my foof (as you do) and it appears the ewcm may be coming back, my cervix isn't as hard as it was yesterday (but not quite squishy yet iykwim). So maybe I had not ovulated the first time?!? What is going on?

Does anyone else ever get that? Oooh maybe... just a thought... maybe I'm going to ovulate twice? Twins ahoy!! (I wish)

Loujalou · 02/04/2010 10:08

Fairy you won't catch me complaining when I am pregnant. Oh No. Ok maybe a little. When we all get pregnant we should meet up an compare bumps. See am being PMA today even though I feel like the witch is on its way. Acupuncturist says I need to be more patient.

Fairygodmother1 · 01/04/2010 19:54

Umbongo I'd be totally happy for wee 3 times a night, bad back, uncomfortable night sleep, morning sickness, sore boobs, growing out of my clothes, etc!

UmBongo · 01/04/2010 18:09

What, No puking - oh that is soooo last year dahrling! Its all the rage these days!

Feel free to remind me of this if I ever do win a baby, But I feel like I could even look forward to getting up 3 times a night to pee! Did manage swi last night though.

Loujalou · 01/04/2010 08:28

Poor Boo. That sounds horrid. We have never had puking with Adi. Fingers crossed that holds out for a while longer.

Vodka is good though my new best drinking friend is JD with coke. Am out on Saturday night so think I might have a few. I am sure I read somewhere that if you are pregnant its not til the 6th week that the baby gets nutrients.

You do know when we all get pregnant that we will be complaining about lack of sleep and all the other bits .

UmBongo · 31/03/2010 23:12

Hi Polly, ds was sick from 4pm Friday to monday at breakfast, I think we are now clear. Hang on in there - with the aid of the vodka! You might be at the end of it!

Sorry you are Lou Good luck at finding the ladder out of the pit! I think I have found a ladder, but it has very slippy bits on it and I keep slithering down again. (maybe it keeps turning into a snake!) I also have mostly convinced myself that ds is going to be an only child and that is very Ho Hum.

PollyPoo · 31/03/2010 22:58

Ok, so I was wrong about the puking finishing, poor love had only been in bed 10 minutes before she threw up everywhere. Damn, why did the bloody tumble dryer have to break down now?

TG has a friend round who says his DS had this bug for a week. Boo started throwing up on Sunday night so it looks like we are about half way through. Fuck it! I am tempted to fall off the wagon and into the vodka....

Loujalou · 31/03/2010 20:52

Anyway I have managed to sneak in a basketful of chocolate eggs seeing as its Easter.

Thinking of changing my nickname - not to anything Eastery just something better. Mmmmm... Any suggestions.

Just trying to get myself out of pit of despair was sobbing to hubby and oh well.... Just convinced I will never have another child and that makes me so sad. Also not helping now Arsenal are losing
