Bicciebob morning sickness down to twice a day and some lovely lady like loud retching! I'm worried every time I leave the house and always have a bag to hand.

Dh said my retching while shopping wasn't that loud, but he's slightly deaf and I did catch people looking at me oddly.

See you on new fred!

Umbongo - hope you're hanging in there. Sending lots of virtual chocolate and hugs. My friend felt the same as you - you get told that the baby you thought you were having isn't there anymore and then in the next breath they're giving you your 'options'. Her response was that she didn't want it out and she didn't want to wait - she just wanted it to be a baby and she couldn't get any further than that. So by default she waited and by the time it happened she was almost relieved. Very very sad though

Loujalou - definitely should be reference to sore bits. My bits are sore even thinking about how much SWI-ing we're going to be doing this month. Shagwatch starts tomorrow.

Much prefer rtd to af by the way - that will be my acronym of choice in the future

How did the scan go yesterday?

Lemonymuffinlady - how's the morning sickness?

Loujalou · 20/07/2010 18:52

Right new fred is this way!

See you there.

Dons Gina G outfit and dances off to new thread.

xxxxx

Icedlemonmuffin · 20/07/2010 18:23

Lou that is a really catchy fred title, and fred anthem should be gina g 'oh ar just a little bit' (oh ar just a little bit more) as you only need a quick in , waggle and out to make a baybee (pre seed makes the in and out a lot smother).

Good news about the scan but I suppose a bit frustrating as nothing to fix !

Anyway oldie. Welcome. Tell us about yourself.

Loujalou · 20/07/2010 17:48

We need a name for the new thread. Not sure what to call it tho.

If you've got sore bits wave your turkey basters in the air like you just don't care

Think we should have a reference to sore bits.

NOTHEROLDIE · 20/07/2010 16:26

Have I killed the thread?

ooops sorry...

Have you started another thread somewhere? I'm finding it hard to navigate the MN site.

Loujalou · 19/07/2010 22:38

NOTHEROLDIE · 19/07/2010 21:51

Loujalou · 19/07/2010 18:32

Ladybird10 · 19/07/2010 17:59

Umbongo so sorry about your miscarriage - big hugs for you, hopeing you will conceive quickly. You sound very brave.

Congrats lia did you notice anything different before your BFP? Symptoms etc?

I had iui last week so i'm in the 2ww, hoping it works but we've been ttfc so long that i am wondering if i will ever get pg

UmBongo · 19/07/2010 17:32

Lemon, don't worry you aren't insensitive at all! I am really pleased that everything is going to plan. I am definately going through the motions during the day, like you I have to for ds, although he may notice that mummy has a shorter fuse than normal! I had a busy weekend in the caravan and with friends so haven't had my daily howl since friday night, and have felt like crying on and off all day, so I think if I have a damn good howl tonight then the pressure relief will hopefully get me through tomorrow! (cartoon image of self as pressure cooker - crying releases the pressure and stops me blowing up completely!)

I chose the wait and see method Biccy, I couldn't face the drugs to bring on a miscarriage when they offered them to me, a mere 10 minutes after dropping the bombshell that I was no longer pregnant. "You're not preg, oh and here is some drugs to make you miscarry by the next few days." Couldn't cope with both sorts of pain on top of each other basically.

I can do virtual running Lou. Can't do it in rl!!!!

Loujalou · 19/07/2010 12:06

I am not sure who won but I think that was the month I got to six and even managed some SFF!

Red Tide of Doom is RTD. Much better than af. It makes me shudder when I type those letter s in.

I am going to start running. Need a virtual partner as me and running don't mix.

Bicnod · 18/07/2010 20:51

Hey loujalou - I'd be up for competitive shagging - who won last time? what's the number to beat? DH is VERY competitive so this might appeal to him

what does rtd stand for? assume it's same as AF? AF still hanging around so no SWI here yet. We're starting on CD6 according to my diary.

Sorry you're feeling low I am too and it's pants. Feels like it's never going to happen and have been stuffing my face all day which doesn't help. I'm on no cake, biscuits or chocolate until next AF from tomorrow (unless get pg of course, then cake, biscuits and chocolate are obligatory).

Loujalou · 18/07/2010 19:07

Hello you all. How are things with you? Had a hit of a breakdown yesterday but am feeling more positive today. I have made one baby there will be another. Sometime.

Hey biccie has the rtd come to an end now.

A few months ago we did shagwatch. Where we competed to have the most shags. Fancy trying this month. Am still on 2ww though but will start after rtd if she arrives.

Icedlemonmuffin · 16/07/2010 23:01

Umbongo sorry didn't mean to be insensitive.

After my mmc last year I had days where I just went through the motions, had to carry on for dd and make every thing normal. But there were days I just got back into bed and cried. Time is the only thing that helps and some people need more time than others.

Be kind to yourself (advice I should of taken)

Pmsl at spontaneous swi-ing. Maybe its worth throwing away thermometers and the like and actually sagging for fun. I will lend you my new corset and a van .

Hey umbungo. Remember you don't need to be super woman and howling is what I would be doinwg all day long.

Bicnod · 16/07/2010 20:40

UmBongo glad to see you back on here. Have you chosen to wait for things to happen naturally or was that your only option? Thinking of you lots and hoping it will be over soon. It's not bloody fair. All the wishing and hoping and waiting and then this. One of my best friends had a similar experience last year and she said people expected her to get over it really quickly and carry on as normal. She felt like she wasn't expected, or even allowed, to grieve and it wasn't until several weeks down the line that she realised that she couldn't just carry on as normal. Be kind to yourself lovely - you really don't have to pull yourself together just yet. x

Lemon hurrah for scan and due dates

So on CD1 I've already marked in my diary all the days DH and I will be having spontaneous SWI this month. I am such a tragedy.

UmBongo · 16/07/2010 20:21

More real than mine Lemon! Huge congrats at making it throught the first trimester, sorry you are still puking tho.

MASSIVE congrats to Lia.

Thank you all for your kind words, I am in a bit of limbo-land as I am still waiting a miscarriage before we can start again. But I don't want it to happen this weekend as I am toooo busy! I am getting through the days as normal, but tend to have a howl at about this time of day when I am by myself. (you can't have a decent howl when anyone else is about, you feel that you should pull yourself together!)

Icedlemonmuffin · 16/07/2010 15:14

Took my head out of the bucket long enough to read mn and congrats Lia ! Yaaaayyyyy

had scan on Tuesday and I am 13 weeks due 20th jan still doesn't feel real.
