So a slightly lighter and less scary thread for those who are chucking away the pills and the condoms and hoping for the best!

You have a dd don't you?
My friend told her dp by dressing her dd in a Big Sister T-shirt.

My SiL cooked a meal with baby potatoes, carrots etc but she is a bit of a knob and had a tantrum when BiL was oblivious.

OnlyWantsOne · 24/03/2010 15:23

uh... I could do that, but i dont fancy giving him some thing soaking in my urine ...

BrassicaBabe · 24/03/2010 15:19

owo how long does a line stay on the test for? Can you wrap up the test into a fancy pressie box?

OnlyWantsOne · 24/03/2010 15:05

go on frakkin just do it hahaha

BrassicaBbe - my parent's sheep are currently lambing, so I will no be going on any lovely little walks with DD round there then!!

(And I have two cats - who spend all day outside, only to come in and shit in the cat tray, any ideas who will deal with that mid week when dp working?)

I am currently writing an essay, with a max word count of 2,500 - so far Im on 3,789....oops

any ideas how to tell DP then ladies??

BrassicaBabe · 24/03/2010 15:03

PMSL at you lot with the poo talk

I think it's only pregnant sheep and cat poo you need to avoid. I've got a flock of sheep - no idea what I'm going to do about this one!

frakkin take a test! We're here to "virtually" hold your hand!

notsoteenagemum · 24/03/2010 14:43

Thanks I think I'll be back tomorrow for the last day before Easter Holidays, I work in a school so get good hols.

At my surgery you can make a direct appt with the midwives as soon as you think you are pg or get a +ve.

I think it's best to get booked in early but they seem to be less bothered if it's not 1st pg, or things changed a lot between me having dd and ds.

Have you had any other symptoms yet?

OnlyWantsOne · 24/03/2010 14:34

although, I do avoid grandparent poo most of the time too

It's cat poo, not dog poo, and lambs are bad - i remember that

But I dont know what to do re GP (not guineapig, or grandparents, but my doctor!!)

Do I have to tell the doc that I'm pregnant yet?

whats the natural course for this stuff? When I had DD it was the doctor who asked me if I was and tested me - so knew from the off

hope you feel better soon I feel a bit washy

notsoteenagemum · 24/03/2010 14:17

*I obv mean GuineaPigs not GrandParents by GP's!

notsoteenagemum · 24/03/2010 14:16

Not sure if GP's are classed as livestock but it's a good excuse to delegate cleaning them out.

Think you should be careful with cat poo, or is it dog poo.
Just avoid poo basically.

I remember the rock boobs from dd didn't get them with ds thankfully.
Start wearing baggy tops now if you don't want to reveal until then.

I am bored too off sick from work.

OnlyWantsOne · 24/03/2010 14:03

notsoteenagemum what do you mean by livestock?

I will avoid my Mum's sheep - but, what about guineapigs?

And cats? I have them at home?

And my DP is a smelly boy...

OnlyWantsOne · 24/03/2010 14:02

My boobs are really hard and lumpy, I noticed last night in bed that they aren't soft any more, but rock hard and lumpy - joy

I am worried about whether this bean is going to stay out- and still havent thought about way to tell my DP, we did discuss last week however that because of lots of resent events at home we wouldnt be telling any one else til we are 15 weeks - so lets hope that it does stay put but that I dont show too soon as with DD i was massive by then.

Ooo girls talk to me Im really bored at work

frakkinaround · 24/03/2010 13:43

Brassica - no. I'm shit scared!

Don't touch livestock when you are pg owo.

BrassicaBabe · 24/03/2010 13:17

lining

BrassicaBabe · 24/03/2010 13:16

I think main-linging vodka is out too

pipistrello · 24/03/2010 13:06

I want one too!

Congratulations, owo ! That's fantastic news. As for what you have to do when you're pregnant, ummmm, don't eat pate and brie? Or something.

BrassicaBabe · 24/03/2010 12:40

Yeah to the "all shagged out" ante-natal group!

frakkin have you done any tests at all yet?

frakkinaround · 24/03/2010 12:20

PMSL 30!

I'm still waiting for AF. STILL! Last was the beginning of Feb.

Am wondering whether +ves are contagious and if I should test? But I know it's highly unlikely cos we've only been naughty once (I wanted to at least have some idea of dates from a normal cycle) and I'll be disappointed when it's not.

OP posts:
30andMerkin · 24/03/2010 11:29

Aww, wasn't trying to get rid of anyone - please stay!

Then once we're all +ive maybe we can have an 'all shagged out' group ...

BrassicaBabe · 24/03/2010 10:22

I think we're up to:
Graduates
PrivetDance
tammu82
OnlyWantsOne

I hope I've not missed anyone.

PrivetDancer · 24/03/2010 09:58

congrats OWO! I must admit when you mentioned your possible implantation it sounded just like what I had too, but didn't like to say in case!
My boobs are still not hurting - never got that one!
If you are due in Nov, come join me and tanmu in the antenatal bit

OnlyWantsOne · 24/03/2010 09:46

can I stay here till you lot all get your positives then please?

frakkinaround · 24/03/2010 09:42

OWO wow that's such fab news! I have no idea what toundo next but wow!

We need an antenatal club!!!

OP posts:
OnlyWantsOne · 24/03/2010 09:40

aww I dont really want to graduate to a different thread, can I lurk here?

How do I work out my due date, last AF was on Feb 27th - have a 30day cycle normally, uh... god I am so buzzed -

DP works away during week so want to tell him when he comes home at the weekend, but I want to make it kinda special for him (its his 1st, my 2nd) and I don't know how... thought about taking DD to the beach and going for a walk and telling him there.

Also, can some one please remind me the do and do nots for when you are pregnant - I have been taking folic acid, but what other rules am I forgetting?

BrassicaBabe · 24/03/2010 09:38

Doh! That's proper congratulations, not problem! 'Nana!
