Ok, feel a bit scared actually starting the new thread but here we are, for however long (or short) our time here may be.

Off you go ladies. Welcome () one and all.

Hey Polly and Happy,

I think it does take quite a while to get anywhere near to normal - in fact, I think I remember the weekend when I "turned the corner" so to speak, and it was close enough to 8 weeks post ERPC. It's so frustrating when you want to try to move forward and your body doesn't seem to be playing along....lots of nice bubble baths and massages maybe, and lots of sleeping!! I also pampered myself with spa type treatments, and even did a meditation class which (despite my snort of derision) was actually good and relaxing.

clareanna · 18/03/2010 03:01

Hi liah hope you feel more posItive soon- sending you cake and happy thoughts

HappyGirl1 · 17/03/2010 22:10

pollyanna im the same as u, i feel horrible the last 2 days, dont know whats up with me at all

Pollyanna · 17/03/2010 21:03

Bigmuther I'm really sorry about Charlie
Hope everyone else's swi is going productively!

I don't think I am ovulating this month again - no cm, no horniness, no temp increase, no other signs. it's a real pain especially since I am forcing myself to swi the whole time.

And also I feel so tired still - I am about 6 weeks post-mc I think, but still feel awful. How long is this going to last?

Icedlemonmuffin · 17/03/2010 20:19

Hello everyone, Bigmutha words don't really help but thinking about you.

Mrs G sausage gate has got me hooked , loving it!
Mr G should have his own blog telling us all about his adventures with his sausage,(bit nosy) but does sausage have a name?

MrsGazebo · 17/03/2010 19:47

Hey Liah Good to see you too

liahgen66 · 17/03/2010 19:37

mrsG good to see you back

muser good that you will be officailly not preggers next week, but at last. only 2 mths to go.

bigmutha I'm so pleased you told us about little Charlie, a lovely name. Take it easy on yourself and your lovely man, we are here on and off most of the time.

Muser · 17/03/2010 19:28

It feels like a year MrsG! I seriously hope next time everything goes the way it's meant to. I don't think I can cope with another loss.

Allthe8s · 17/03/2010 19:28

MrsG you are cracking me up......

Allthe8s · 17/03/2010 19:26

good news muser

MrsGazebo · 17/03/2010 19:21

Thanks Muser
Yay on the levels. It's been a long month ain't it!

MrsGazebo · 17/03/2010 19:18

Awwww GLB Mr.G said he'd have to respectfully decline, can he be a part time pet?
Sausage updates - check
Falling off desk - check
Chocolates and cocktails will be left at the door - check
Virtual Bacon Butties and Tea on a Sunday morning - check

He said that he can't bake/dance/wiggle.
It is against everything he stands for.

Buffy no tricks to speak of but he's a fast learner
Head massages No chance
Back rubs under duress.

He is very funny and witty so jokes are in the check list.
He's just said that I can't turn him on
(I can! )
and off and he's not a performing monkey

He's not being very co-operative tonight, I've told him that if he doesn't come up with suggestions and agree on what he will do I'll take pics when he's asleep and post them on here

Some people eh?
And I thought he'd jump at the opportunity to be a slave to our cause.

Can we get Spike from Buffy in?
Or Johnny Depp?
Or Huey from The FLC's
I bet they'd love to be our pet

Muser · 17/03/2010 19:15

Just wanted to say welcome to bigmuther, so very sorry about Charlie, I can't imagine what you must be going through.

MrsG feel free to ask me HCG questions as much as you like. Hopefully I'll be able to answer a few. On the bleeding, I had a bleed last week, fairly light for a couple of days. Didn't take me to 0 on the HCG but I had a massive drop. Tis a good sign.

And now to the results. Well, I didn't manage to break the 100 barrier, but I was just outside at 109, down from 289. Nurse says I should be officially Not Pregnant next week. And month 1 of my 3 month wait is over.

Unbuffy · 17/03/2010 18:55

Sausage facebook? Does that mean... photos...

I also suggest head massage (NOT SAUSAGE DAMMIT) and backrubs.

And telling jokes

Unbuffy · 17/03/2010 18:52

Mrs. G thought you were posting Mr. G's info there for a few lines... Guy (work guy) sounds useless and immature with no idea how to treat a lady.

He probably has a very, very small penis, too.

Still not come up with too many ideas for thread pet - does he do tricks (except with sausage )? Waiting for inspiration from others.

A straaaaange and mysterious thing has happened in the Buffy household in the past couple of days. I have become possessed of a weird zen-like calm. I can cope with anything - I even started the car today (sounds crap I know but It. Will. NEVER. Start. Unless dh plays with it for HOURS. (No sex comments please) Frankly, I'm a bit frightened of the thing, and avoid it wherever possible) and went for a walk. And then i did some tummy exercises(!?!)
This is really weird. This time last month I was a raging, and i do mean raging, ball of hormonal horrors. Emotions up, emotions down, aaaallllll over the shop. And this weekend I was cross and upset by bro and sil but didn't get all unneccesary. And now I've turned into frickin' ObiWan. Dh says he hopes it goes on forever, I don't feel like my usual bundle of nerves at ALL. I've even stopped symptom-spotting, and the wait until Day Whatever doesn't seem to bother me any more.

I am very VERY confused.

So best maharishi thoughts to all... pass out the love and biscuits...

Goodluckbear · 17/03/2010 18:38

Hmmmmm....I may have over-egged my height...will need to bring desk to stand on if he's that tall. Dammit.

Well, it has to be sorted and you're doing the right thing.

Thread pet duties to include:

  • Thread pet dance to be performed daily (GLB demonstrating daily dance on desk - wiggle hips, do a bit of thrusting of pelvis, try moonwalk, fall off desk)
  • Daily sausage report - suggest sausage has a Facebook page to manage status updates
  • Thread pet to provide all cake, drinks and chocolates for the thread ladies (Thread pet must provide appropriate drinks for appropriate times - no tea/coffee after 6pm, no vodka cocktails before 6pm)

Sign him up!!

xxx

MrsGazebo · 17/03/2010 18:29

GLB. Gee thanks.
Said article is 6"4 (I'm 5"3 in my shoozies)
I work in the fab world of retail for a really girly company.
He's the only straight guy in the company I think
He's supposed to be security/stock but does neither properly.
Prize Twunt!
I'm sorry that it is going to go futher but I can't cope with his attitude anymore.

He's 46 but acts like a 4 year old.

So yeah GLB if you're 6"6 and bring your desk to twat him with you can 'ave a go.
xx

MrsGazebo · 17/03/2010 18:13

Slimyak's alter ego spending the mortgage pennies on POAS'

Vvvvvvvvvvvvv Clareanna it has been a sunny day 'ere ooop North but definitely not Beach worthy.
Ahh tea, yes, had lots of that today so, see our lives are very similar at the mo

Glad you managed to get through the swarms of babies and tums ok.
Thanks for the advice about work, what I'd like to do is tell the sad git to move out of his Mothers (he's 46), get a life and girlfriend and find a new job.
But that's not very professional is it now!

Happy don't push yourself too hard, it'll get better soon.

I'm going to the Pub tonight, I've not seen my Dad for 3 weeks and he owes me a nice juicy steak while I rant at him about Hospitals and work.
He hasn't a clue bless 'im ,but as I don't see my Mother he's all I've got (apart from MrG and his family)

Anyone thought of duties for Thread Pet, he's home now an eagarly awaiting instructions.

Goodluckbear · 17/03/2010 18:06

MrsG - kick that twat's arse!! Your post sounded familiar to me - I have a chappy like that at my work, although he does the "standing over demanding stuff" crap to a lady who sits by me - my face is really like this when he does it and then I periodically explode [exploding emoticon] at the sheer unreasonableness of his shitty behaviour.

Last time he did it to her (and at the end of the day, was bullying her) I went over and stood right next to him in a slightly invading his personal space way - didn't say a word - I'm the same height, it took away his power. I think he was confused as to what I was doing. If you tell me where your office is, I'll come and do it to your office dickhead too if you like next time he does it.

< GLB wonders if standing over MrsG's desk in intimidating way is appropriate MN behaviour>

I AM OUTRAGED by this man I have never met.

xx

clareanna · 17/03/2010 17:40

Managed to creep onto a craptop so can do full update before heading to the beach could get very used to this californian life, or maybe just the not working bit...!

Allthe8s - Happy birthday - save some cake crumbs for me....

MrsG - glad to see you back and for the sausage update... as for work, think being assertive and taking a stand can sometimes help - as at least it feels like you're doing something about it? LOL at the thought of you posting a piss soaked envelope back to the hospital!

bigmuther - thinking of you, and so sorry about Charlie x

happygirl - it took me about 5 weeks after ERPC to feel like I had a bit more energy and normal concentration levels - it's rubbish but just be kind to yourself, I desperately wanted to feel "normal" again, but now realise it's going to take some time. Have started doing some exercise again (in between eating burgers - why are burgers so yummy in the USA? anyway I digress...) in the hope that it will help boost my endorphin levels a bit - but it is very hard getting on that treadmill - have only managed it 4 times - still it's a start...

viv and alba you go girlfriends! [cheerleading type pom pom waving at the thought of lots of good quality slippery CM - there's a sentence I never expected to type]

As for me - still in the TWW - i hate long cycles and agree they should be banned. should be a good chance this month as on hols, but don't feel like I've actually ov-ed - so will have to wait and see. deliberately left all sticks at home to stop me obsessing, yet am creeping on here all the time! Met up with a group of english expat mums yesterday for their regular playdate (am staying with my SIL at the mo) lots of babies and pregnant tums which was tough - I should have had a pregnant tum too, but I got through it without cracking - just busied myself making tea.

big pints of guiness to you all etc!

slimyak · 17/03/2010 16:25

Just dropping in to spy really, but saw I was on the list twice and my alter ego was 10 days late and spending the mortgage on pee sticks. I have removed her.

In reality we are in shag fest week and SWI like mad march hares.

This thread has made me so obsessed with CM I think I may have to make a pavlova to reinstate egg white in it's true place in my mind.

Hi to all, new and not so new. Mrs G you are a breath of fresh air ( as long as you haven't got that piss soaked envelope with you)

MrsGazebo · 17/03/2010 15:50

I was tempted GLB
I don't know if the instructions are clear enough

Well I've opened a can of worms now. I'm having difficuties with one of my guys in work.
He's been with the Company for about 15 yrs and thinks the rules don't apply to him.
He has a bad attitude and has no respect for me or my position.
He constantly underminds and questions me and yesterday towered over me and called me a liar.
All this because I asked him to move something.
I know this isn't the right place to share this (may try AIBU) but I'm sick of the constant feeling of anxiousness (is that a new word I just made up?)
Anyway I just don't need it at the moment, with all my baby failings and woe, I also dislike my job as it is, as it's changing a hell of a lot I'm only hanging on as the maternity package is pretty good.

I just called HR and they were great.
Fun begins tomorrow me thinks.

Sorry for the rant.
As you were.

HappyGirl1 · 17/03/2010 15:40

Sooooooo tired today like just shattered shattered shattered.. had to tell someone else in work and it's just so tough. I dunno how you ever really get over a MC to be honest.

HappyGirl1 · 17/03/2010 15:34

Bigmuther so sorry to hear about CHarlie - hope you are doing okay xx

MrsGazebo · 17/03/2010 15:32

Bigmuther it won't be long honey, it will give you time to get your head round things xx
