Ok, feel a bit scared actually starting the new thread but here we are, for however long (or short) our time here may be.

Off you go ladies. Welcome () one and all.

AlbaDeTamble · 01/03/2010 08:28

moofold I tested too, had one last ultra sensitive cheapy test left. BFN. If it was going to happen this month would be positive by now. I suppose at least I can be disappointed now and it won't be quite so sad when AF appears ? Wish she'd just hurry up and arrive now.

Here's to a beautiful spring morning and a fertile month with lots of Christmas babies for us all

redandyellowandpinkandgreen · 28/02/2010 22:24

Hope everyone has had a chillout day today. I have stayed at home and done a lot of cooking (and eating!)

Here are my stats, hope this is right:

TTC#1 UCL30 cycle1 CD23

Moofold · 28/02/2010 21:29

Alba - yes, I tested. No surprises BFN. I knew it would have taken a miracle but still feels shit. I put off testing for a bit so that I could have a wee daydream of it being positive but no such luck.

I then endured the worst cramps for years but still no AF. So feeling optimistic I peed on a OPK instead in case it was OV pains. Also fucking negative!! Really hacked off in this no man's land now - I hope you get better results yourself.

Lets hope March is a good month for us all

Allthe8s · 28/02/2010 20:49

Just popping in to say hi quickly - hope everyone has had a nice relaxing Sunday and is looking forward to March and Spring being round the corner. Here's to a better week Ladies

urd · 28/02/2010 20:26

MUSER- that's nice when that happens, makes you feel like they are really interested in how you are doing. When I had ERPC last Saturday the nurses on my ward were really kind. The sister said she had had 2MC before so new exactly how I felt. Hope you are ok.

Muser · 28/02/2010 18:16

I just got called by the nurse at my EPU checking I was ok. Phoned up Friday night as I'd started spotting and wanted to check that was ok. It is ok, just a sign that my hormone levels are falling. It's nice to know they're keeping an eye on things and following up.

clareanna · 28/02/2010 18:09

a bit Off TOpic here -but anyone else's DH's think that they're still 18?! mine went out last night, ended up gate crashing my 23 yr old's sisters night and rolled in at 4.30am. He has been about as much use as a chocolate teapot today.
grrr - I'm just jealous!

urd · 28/02/2010 18:00

No tears today, feeling more positive, going to wait till AF to arrive and then after ttc. Hubby will be pleased although he has been an absolute rock. Thanks to all you guys this week, it has really helped through tough times. Here's to happy times ahead! Here's the VINO pass it round.

AlbaDeTamble · 28/02/2010 17:31

Apologies for any list errors... Updating on iPhone, it's a bit fiddly

hopefully I do hope your day's picked up. Just remember you're due a lovely run of good luck now!

moofold have you tested? It's horrid this wtf cycle, I've felt like AF imminent for a few days now, get a tiny bit of spotting, then nothing. Then same all over again. And I have no exciting desire to test though. There's an outside chance I could be but I think I'd be petrified so am assuming I'm not (wishing I were, but not yet, iyswim)

hippy was it you talking about the song 'I just haven't met you yet'? It nearly gave me a blubbing in the shops moment today... Someone was singing it outside Primark, had to struggle to hold it together as was with DSD and she'd have been mortified!

Welcome, sadly, to flowering and redandyellow, have added you on to the list.

Hopefully · 28/02/2010 11:36

Morning! Just checking in, haven't read back. I just wanted to whinge that 2010 has not been kind to me so far. It's not even march yet and I have had:

  • One miscarriage
  • Proper, good old fashioned flu
  • A horrific ear infection
  • Probable gastric flu
  • DS with horrific ear infection just as gastric flu began to rear its head in my life

I am beginning to suspect that someone's got a voodoo doll with my name on it! I haven't been well for a single day for nearly 3 weeks now...

Welcome to all the new people, sorry you find yourselves here, but hope you're able to use all the wonderful support and humour that this lovely thread has to offer.

Unbuffy · 28/02/2010 10:39

G1lda I have currently a worrying Dr Who thing going on at night...

Cheepz · 28/02/2010 08:22

hello ladies, just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Seems abit more positive than last week which is good, although sad news about jolls and we miss her on the grads, I think we all worry that we will be back to a certain extent .. I worry about it alot, although have reached 6 weeks so thats a good milestone (passed both previous mc's), and will be seeing doctor and getting early scan in a weeks time.

viv keeping my eye on you - fingers crossed hon

all ladies near the top, heres hoping
all the ladies in the middle - keep your dh pecker up
all the ladies at the bottom - every new cycle is a new chance

xxx

redandyellowandpinkandgreen · 27/02/2010 22:18

Thanks for the welcome all. I had to step away from the pregnancy tests in Boots today, it's waaaaaaaay too early and I don't need to put myself through that. I did linger and look for a good while though, sometimes it's like picking a scab, you know it's going to hurt but you do it anyway!

Allthe8s · 27/02/2010 22:01

Hi Redandyellow & floweringcurrant - sorry you are here but we are here with cakes and wine daily x

Littlemiss - did you find your way out of primarche? How's the rock looking? Sunglasses on ? Many congrats to you x

So so sorry jollster - passing you the wine....x

Gi1da me too am approaching the window but am going to be missing it which I know is probably for the best but is still very frustrating. I want to be 100% and I think another couple of weeks will be better. Take time to get better if you have been really poorly and just think at least you wont have 2 weeks of wondering am I? Which I feel kinda takes the pressure off.....just a teeny tiny bit. x

Clareanna - how are you doing now???? Well done for making it out, if I feel remotely low I can't leave the house for fear of snot and tears.

Hippy I bled for about 14 days after erpc and now have the longest AF on EARTH!!!!!! Bored now.

Good on you Viv!

Muser I have some Shloer too???? Not quite the same but I can pour it in a wine glass for you?

Also waving to all the other ladies just about to make popcorn and watch The Breakup AAAgain, Vince Vaughan cracks me up though. xxxx

Gi1da · 27/02/2010 21:50

Viv, sorry, SIL not MIL. Too many acronyms for one day IYSWIM! LOL!

Gi1da · 27/02/2010 21:46
sparklyrainbow · 27/02/2010 21:45

Well done Viv, it's good to get it all out isn't it! I made similar comment to colleague who was whinging on facebook about being near to labour/worried about being induced (erm, you're not even past your due date love?) and pointed out how she should just be bloody grateful she could (a) conceive and (b) carry a baby! She had it today

Clareanna hope your day got better and sorry to hear your sad news Jollster, hope you get your ERPC tomorrow. Take care of yourself.

Sorry you're here floweringcurrant and redandyellow and hope everyone else is having a good weekend

clareanna · 27/02/2010 21:28

Muser - big glass of virtual wine on it's way- please drink responsibly

clareanna · 27/02/2010 21:26

Viv- well done for saying something - sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself even if it makes people uncomfortable - my mum is constantly saying the wrong thing so you go girl!

Am currently feeling very cross with channel4- wasn't this film on last week?!

Muser · 27/02/2010 20:55

God I wish I could have a drink. Stupid methotrexate.

VivClicquot · 27/02/2010 20:39

Evening my lovelies,

Quick one from me to say Jollster my love, I am so utterly sorry for you. Hope you and DH are bearing up okay, and sending you lots of love.

Welcome to redandyellow and floweringcurrant - sorry you're here but you've found a lovely warm haven.

Hi to everyone else. We've just had BIL and SIL over - the one who pointedly asked me three weeks ago if I had "any news". Would you believe she asked me AGAIN, and then said that if I've not got lucky this month, then I should leave it next month as "you don't want a Christmas baby" ...

I managed to blurt out, "Quite frankly, given everything we've been through, I'd be grateful for ANY baby. I couldn't give a SHIT when its due." Am feeling strangely proud...

Oh and 7 dpo here - feeling very 'wet' and a few twinges but no other symptoms. I bloody bastard hate the 2ww

xxxx

hippychick66 · 27/02/2010 20:36

Hi all. More red wine available if you'd like.

I have started poas to see if I'm ov-ing, but mainly just cos I am paranoid to see what kind of luteal phase I am gonna have.(I know it is pointless as cycles could be all over the bloody place but it makes me feel like I'm doing research). I'm not gonna ttc this month cos I have decided to have at least one af first.

Also I'm still bleeding (10 days after EPRC - is that ok?) and so we couldn't really shag with or without intent as they said at hosp no sex until bleeding stops.

I got the new tv guide today and read that Becky is going to have an MC. Then I felt bad for her - until hubbie reminded me that she - ISN'T REAL!!!!

Much love to all you lovely ladies (and Brian, our resident male!)

Icedlemonmuffin · 27/02/2010 19:51

I have walked out of many shops in the last year with tears and snot running down my face because I have just fallen apart at something that would have never bothered me before. I just pretend I've forgot my medication !!

My funniest and most cringey moments are usually dds fault, like the time I come back from the toilet (dh and dd in supermarket queue) dd said 'mummy did you have a runny poo again and did you wipe your bum properly?'. I went red looked at dh and he said well did you? Just wanted the ground to swallow me up.

randomimposter · 27/02/2010 19:49

thanks for such lovely messages - this thread is moving faster than I can ever remember - am going to have to up my mental concentration to keep up, which is hard at my age ...

Off to stuff face with chili... can't eat from midnight in case I get lucky and they can squeeze me in for my ERPC tomorrow. Me "nil by mouth" is not a happy prospect!

Tarra for now
