We're just leaving centerparcs had a lovely time and my bonus AF finished last night ( cycle 1. 29 days, cycle 2. 10 days?!?!) thankfully no spotting now so hope that's what I think may have been a post mmc hormonal imbalance sorted out. Ready to SWI roll on day 10 for a 2010 lo!

I wonder how many more times I'll have to do the Rictus Smile when someone tells me their good news? Yet another colleague today. It's a funny feeling, making your face smile when you want to curl up and die inside. I wonder if that's what botox feels like?

I think they say it can come any time from 4-6 weeks after a natural mc. We carried on sw[o]i too, but I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate in that cycle. Good luck anyway - I was secretly a bit gutted I didn't fall pg straight away.

pollyanna thanks for the info, my MC was 3 weeks ago (14 Feb) so im guessing AF could turn up in around another 3 weeks.
newcastle we did start trying again straight away - I MC'd at home and bleed for about 6 days after that, once the bleeding stopped I wanted to feel close to DH again and it seemed strange to dust off the condoms.. maybe we should have thou. I have heard that you should wait a cycle, but I have also heard that you are very fertile after a MC so we decided to just carry on as normal.

As for me, Im back at work wishing it wasnt Monday, DH is away for 3 nights this week so Im home alone! I have a qu for you ladies in the know. How long after a MC should you wait to test if there has been no AF?? Im all teary and stressed and had a stich like pain last week - Ive got everything crossed for BFP but cant help but think Im deluding myself!

Hippy I bled for about 2 or so weeks after ERPC (I can't remember exactly) I went back to the Drs and they said it's completely normal and only if it smells (nice) should I worry! Hope that's definitely the end of it now though chick.

Well, my weekend has been a wee bit up and down, after having a somewhat emotional day Friday, I was a little teary on Sat morning but went to acupuncture and came away feeling quite positive about it all, was really looking forward to my bessie mate and her other half coming over for dinner so imagine my surprise when she turns up and presents me with a picture of a scan and tells me she's 13 weeks pregnant. They weren't even trying, she's not had a period for 8 months! That was a massive kick in the proverbial b*ollocks I can tell you. Somehow I found the composure to not throw myself on the floor and wail like a banshee. Then she asked me what was happening with us and I had to explain what had just happened. Luckily by this point we had left the boys downstairs. Oh God. Hideous. I felt awful for her. Don't ever want to have to do that again!

So acupuncturist has recommended I get some Serenity Progesterone cream to rub on in the second half of my cycle and some Vitex Agnus Castus to take for the first half. Anyone else had any experience of either?

Drs on Weds too, no doubt I'll have to go back and have bloods done again.

I haven't popped in for a long while. Have been trying not to obsess about ttc and thought maybe mn was increasing the anxiety about it all (but thinking about it, I believe temping is a daily reminder causing more worry than mn in the 2ww). Anyway, AF showed today Was going to take my name off the list, but then catching up on a few pages of posts reminded me of all the great comfort and support here when going through a shit time. So sorry to hear of all the recent losses, but this thread has been a great consolation to me. Had a cry this evening about my lost bean from mmc at 12w nearly a year ago. Read your post maitri and wanted to say hang in there, I know what you're going through. Well, am still ttc but gonna try to be better to myself and relax a bit more this month.

Hi all

Really really wish I wasn't posting here - but I am.
I had chemical pregnancy after fertility treatment mid Feb, tested positive at 4 weeks, started spotting at 4+3, then full on bleeding at 5 weeks. Finally got a negative preg test, and ready to begin again.

Part of me feels a fraud - it was so so early, I really just had a heavy/painful AF. But to me it was a baby, and it took a long hard journey to get there.

Hoping the journey to our next positive will be shorter.

newcastle good luck back at work. I had my first day back last monday. It felt very odd to walk in cos for me everyone knew what had happened. I kept thinking, "last time I was here I was rushing out the door having just started bleeding!" I had some wonderful conversations with people where they were very supportive and so many people had been through similar stuff.

I did have a complete wobble one day where i ended up in the loo with my best friend at work, crying and saying that I just wanted to turn back time - but in a funny way that moment helped as well.

You'll get your intimate moment with DH when you're ready.xxx

DH at work all weekend and everywhere I seem to have taken my DD this weekend I keep thinking last time I came here I was pregnant etc, just torturing myself really.Anyway I hope you have a better day tomorrow.
CURLYLOX-I know what you mean about taking yourself off the radar, school etc it just seems easier sometimes avoiding everyone, don't know if its good or bad but some days it seems the easiest decision.
NEWCASTLE16- good luck tomorrow at work, I'm back Tuesday. I know everyone is going to feel really awkward, thats the worst thing. One day at a time I suppose.

Having a really bad day, was at a friends happy occasion yesterday and got asked so many times if baby on the way. Its so good to have this thread and maitri so sorry for you. Hopefully things will get better.

Hippychick that is such a big hurdle re getting intimate with DH, my DH has been jst great but I just dont feel ready for ttcing yet im so scared yet i really want to try. Feel totally messed up. Back to work 2moro too just dont know how Ill get thru the day without crying.

Well hopefully a good week for us all, or as good as possible.

Oh Maitri very sorry to hear your news and can completely relate to the despair, it comes in waves.....MN has been a source of relief, even if I haven't posted and just been lurking. Have taken myself off the radar (i.e. friends, school playground etc) when possible, which is possibly not the best course of action but just want to stop the world so I can get off and curl up in a corner. But have my DD to think of so must be brave. I do remember you from the other thread too. Unbuffy not sure if I'm looking forward to the "f jealous" stage, torture or what! Thank you bunnybaby for your kind words.

maitri Just want to give you a great big hug. How awful for you to have to read what you did on FB. (great news for your friend though).

I have a pregnant friend at work who was a bit behind me and she's recently had a great 12 week scan - (we found out 4 days before our scan that our little one didn't make it.)

I just kept looking at her the other day and thinking, 'she's got a healthy baby in there!" Don't get me wrong I am happy for her but it breaks my heart that it's not me. Hate being . But can't help it. On the flip side i am incredibly pleased for her cos she has had her share of bad luck - which I wont go into.

It is still so early for you maitri you will have times when you just want to cry and when you feel like someone has just swipped all your dreams off you. Cry as much as you need to - before you know it you'll be ttc-ing again and obsessing about CM and temps like the rest of us. xxx
