Ok, feel a bit scared actually starting the new thread but here we are, for however long (or short) our time here may be.

Off you go ladies. Welcome () one and all.

Evening all

I'm a football widow tonight so I've nabbed the crap top.

So much to catch up on....
I've been trying to wean myself off obsessing over when TTC if TTC how TTC sites and MN kinda fell into that
I can't stay away for long though and feel like a fraud

Barrenbrook honey, I'm so sorry to hear your news, Utter shite!
Hope you're doing ok.
Well done for not losing it with your mate, can't say I'd be able to do the same.

Welcome Diliahbelle and Maitri again sorry you've found yourselves here but as you've already found, it's a nice place.

Way to go Cheepz I'm made up for you both.

Congrats Floweringcurrant and Redandyellow Jolls how you doing?

Liah good to see your Doc is on the case!

Muse glad to see you got through today without yanking any arms off.

Hope everone else is well and sorry if I've missed anything.

Well it's been a bit boring in the old Gazebo at the mo, absolutley nothing has happened!
Much as I love counting the days since my ERPC ,I have to so I don't loose track when I eventually get refered to Gyne as I still haven't started my cycle Yet
Day 61 I believe.
Have seen a Consultant about Molar, she didn't scan me or take bloods.
She didn't seem concerened about lack of AF either.
Just waiting on a letter from Sheffield, well a brown envelope I pee in and post back, well a tube in a brown envelope... you catch my drift.
They'll see how much HCG or whatever it is is floating around in me and after I've done that weekly for a few months we can possibly start TTC again.

In the mean time it's a no go area and we have to use condoms as I can't take any hormones like the pill or owt.
I'm not boasting but not so little Mr.G in a rubber mac is not a pretty site.

The mood is somewhat spoilt as he struggles to get it on and I'm pissing myself laughing.
Don't get me wrong, it's not freak show material but the ones that we have, just look, a-hem, funny.
I know you can buy bigger ones but I've spent all my pennies on OV and Pee sticks and also secretly wouldn't mind the odd accident
Also me thinks he may feel inadequate if they were too big.

See! This is why I stay away!
None of you really needed to know that!

liahgen66 · 08/03/2010 22:10

maybe they asked the work experience girl who she found attractive?

OP posts:
hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 22:03

It is so weird lia. This is about the third time that I have been typing a message and then when I post it I find that you've just joined and typed something at the same time and our posts have crossed. We are so in-tune!! .

So sorry to hear you are still having a hard time every day. I realised I would be 15 weeks today and thought it wouldn't be long before I got flutterings.

Do you still find yourself stopping and saying, "What the hell just happened - I already had a baby in there and now I'm stuck TTCing again." It's sh*t isn't it.

I get what you mean about TV births. They go from - 'oh a twinge' - to - 'gotta push' in about 5 minutes. I guess it makes it more exciting and most programmes only have about half an hour to show a birth.

Question - if we all find Ralph Little so unappealling, who the heck cast him as the sexy male???

hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 21:52

Jollster hee hee - Yes he is a bit pale and skinny. And he's about to blow it with a girl who is far too good looking for him!!

Shall we take our new babies to the beach some time next year ?? Fingers crossed.

A positive on a digi is good news flower. Is it one that says conception date?? It would be good if you could do one of those this week and then one next week - I did that and was so excited to see it go from 2-3 weeks to 3 weeks plus - made me feel like things were going up (so to speak ).

Of course I don't know your financial situation and those ones are very expensive so don't want to get you into debt by encouraging you to do loads of digi tests.

liahgen66 · 08/03/2010 21:47

Oh and errr no Mr Little most definately not

OP posts:
liahgen66 · 08/03/2010 21:47

hippy I don't watch Corrie but I agree that the researchers really need to put a bit more thought into this stuff, same with tv births, I can't watch em, being in the business so to speak, drives me demented.

jollster Glad things are moving along for you. You will still have good and bad days but once the actual practicalities so to speak are over, it gets easier to look forward.

Personally I have more bad days than I care to admit, especially to rl people, they all think i'm fine and happily waiting to get up the stick again. Truth is, I'm bloody terrified that i'll never get pregnant again. It struck me today that I would have been 18 wks now an dlooking forward to me 20 wk scan. I think about it Every single day. My dh doesn't know and would probably think i'm a little nuts to be honest but I get through each day cos I have to.

I did have a nice day with my littlest dd today, just went to an asda living store, then tk maxx, then homebase, ( i know how to live I do) but we stopped for a huge muffin and a drink, she pottered about looking at stuff and I got her some yummy little leggings. I know I'm lucky but i feel so empty.

Sorry about that, Well done to you muser it's always hard to get back into the swing of things. (((())))

OP posts:
floweringcurrant · 08/03/2010 21:43

ooh yes please Jollster I think that would be ok, got a positive on the digi this afternoon so I'm tentatively starting to believe...
hope everyone is alright this evening. hang non in there redandyellow.

randomimposter · 08/03/2010 21:36

hippy are you me?
Hear hear on Mr Little - he's a child. (Also pale and clammy looking - unsexy personified).
And Corrie? Don't watch it all the time but dip in.... agree totally.

hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 21:21

Sorry, me again

Just wanted to say to those of you who watch coronation st. WTF is going on with Becky. She seemed to MC all in one go in about 5 minutes in the loo. She then went to the GP who told her she was fine (how did he know?) and despite MCing about 1 week ago she's been shagging all this week.

I know she's not real - honestly I really do!! But I think they could have done a bit more research. I didn't actually expect to see her buying huge sani pads in the Kabin, but I do feel that her MC was all over in about 15 minutes. Oh well, maybe I just need to get a life .

hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 21:15

Sorry, meant to say muser well done on your first day back at work. It's horrid isn't it.

Mine was last Monday.

I know you've really been through the mill and must have had to take a hell of a lot of deep breaths before walking through the door.

Hippy hands Muser a glass of wine/cookie/cup of tea/large scotch!!! You choose.

hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 21:10

jollster thanks for the special wave - Hippy waves back. I guess it's good that you avoided the surgery but still would have been nice if you could have chosen !!

We'll probably start ttc-ing at about the same time - lets both get a BFP asap !!

I am soooo of you being by the sea-side. I check the weather in IOW every day and it's ALWAYS better there - arrggghhh gotta get there this year. My next baby will be born in the IOW - there that's a pretty positive mission ststement on both scores.

Enjoy single, married other. I just don't see Ralph Little as a sex symbol - yuck.

randomimposter · 08/03/2010 21:02

barrenbrook and muser a special seaside cuddle to you both x

randomimposter · 08/03/2010 21:00

redandyellow probably when you're holding your cherub in your arms - actually not even then, that's just the beginning....! Hope all is fine for you. Have toes crossed - can't type with crossed fingers.

flowering - woohoo. If I'm up early and do the stats shall I add you to the BFPs...?

liah tres tres TRES impressed with your GP. That's really great - how are you doing with it all?

unbuffy had no kitchen for 6 months last year. MMMM, that WAS fun.... glad DD back to angelic status .

hippy - special wave...

and warm squeezes and hugs to all.

Had my scan today - no need for surgery tomorrow - which is super. Had a TMI ALERT odd moment earlier when I passed the most enormous clot.... it felt like I was pooing something but frontwards obviously. Have to do a HPT in 2 weeks to ensure all gorn away... and then I guess it's onwards and upwards. Going to explore acupuncture as my new "solution" ...

Anyway off to watch Married Single Other... tarra to all xx

Muser · 08/03/2010 20:56

Hello all. It's been busy in here!

I had my first day back at work today, was a bit daunting today but I made it through. It felt very weird. Only a few people know what happened, I'm sure everyone else thinks I was off with stress!

barrenbrook · 08/03/2010 20:52

Oh and Cheepz, splendidly lushious news lady, you must be chuffed to bits

barrenbrook · 08/03/2010 20:49

Liah Sounds like you actually have a Dr that is listening, which is great news. FX that the tests bring some answers and I bet it's something incredibly simple to correct too!

Floweringcurrant You sneaked that BFP in very quietly, cheeky! Congratulations!

Alba I missed you out earlier, I meant to say that I that I thought you saying that this month was a dress rehersal was a better way of looking at it and not harsh at all, you plonker!

Unbuffy I'm joining you in the stage, t'is not effing fair at all, hurrumph (barrenbrook tucks into the lucky marshmallows)

Had a bit of a shitty down day again today, it seems as though this m/c is affecting me far more than the first a year ago, or maybe it's so long ago now I've forgotten how shit I felt. I don't know. I keep welling up, it's crap! DH is nights this week and has left by the time I get home from work so no cuddles from him either, I'm having to make do with snuggles with the puppy (but he keeps biting my ear and trying to eat my hair!)

redandyellowandpinkandgreen · 08/03/2010 20:46

I hope so! I started bleeding on the Saturday, I think that was the 6th Feb and tested negative on the Monday so I think the hormone levels dropped rapidly and therefore it is unlikely this is residual hormone but I can't help worrying. I have googled and it seems to vary from person to person but as I wasn't very far along and I had that neg test I think I am safe(ish).

Not sure when I will stop worrying though!

Even keep panicking I somehow did the neg test wrong but I can't test again until the weekend to be sure. If I get a BFP then I will believe it

thefatladyscreams · 08/03/2010 18:27

BarrenB - talk about another kick in the proverbial when you least need it. Lousy timing for you but well done for getting through it - think I'd still be wailing.

Whispered congrats to redandyellow and floweringcurrant - a line is a line! Redandyellow - how helpful - not - of your GP. How long ago was your m/c - I remember I got a negative within 2 weeks so hopefully it is the genuine article!

Lia - sounds like you have a great GP.

Goodluckbear - at your boss.

Always get hungry reading this thread as so many references to chocolate and biscuits!

redandyellowandpinkandgreen · 08/03/2010 17:44

Lia that's good that they are taking it seriously and moving things forward quickly.

I went to the GP today as I got in to a panic that the pos test was just from some residual hormones from the mc but he won't do any blood tests or anything about it. I have to hang on until Saturday and then test again and he is sort of, quite, almost (good doctor this one!!) certain that if I test pos then, then I really am pregnant. So in limbo for a bit longer.

Really quite cross that I can't have a blood test but I couldn't change his mind.

hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 16:39

Forgot to say allthe8s how hard to look after a baby. It must have been lovely but also so incredibly emotional.

Welcome delilah - sorry for your loss.

Congrats floweringcurrant hang on in there - must be hard to enjoy it - but it is fab news.

hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 16:35

lia good news that they are doing lots of test. As you say - we can't hang about at our age!

newcastle of course it is up to you whether you wait for one cycle or go for it now. We just decided to wait for one AF mainly cos I had an EPRC and had heard that the lining can be thin after (like a good clear out). DH said, "If you got preg and then it came away straight away cos the lining was too thin, we'd wish we'd left it a month."

I don't know you in RL so hate to tell you whether to swi or not. It just seems from the way that you word it that you're not ready yet. You said - Prob is that the 'important day's will be middle of this week and I'm completely stressed just thinking about it not knowing what to do.

It just sounds like you are getting worried that you have to try this month and I want to reasure you that you don't. My GP said if you've been preg recently then you are more likely to get preg again - but I don't think that is just the month directly after a MC - i think it is just a general comment. Go easy on yourself hon .

Unbuffy It does seem unfair that yo have brian to help you remember who everyone is - can I borrow him. He's so ickle you can post him to me .

Allthe8s · 08/03/2010 16:15

liah thats good news that your doc is onto things

liahgen66 · 08/03/2010 16:09

hi everyone,

Can't namecheck everyone as haven't been on for a while and there's loads.

cheepz for your little bean

Barren

currants congratulations to you.

Well i had doc today, still no period post erpc, he said this can be normal but given my age he will start looking into it sooner rather than later.

so i have to have blood tests Weds for the blood disorder that canb cause recurrant mc, (had 4 now) he doesn't think 4 is normal. Also more fsh tests as things can change in the 6 mths since i last had it done at my age, (43).

if i get preggers before the results are in (3 wks time) then Ihave to tell him asap and he will give me progesterone pessaries.

If blood is pos thenI will be referred to heamotologist, if neg then gynea. So at least he understands.

He said If you don't get pregnant how upset would you be and i nearly cried, I said very, he said ok, lets do something. He asked how many more childrenIwanted, I said just one thanks.

Running to pick up ds now. Have good rest of day everyone.

Hi ladies, big waves to all and have some toasted buttered fruit bread if you fancy......not quite cake but it's hit the spot with a cuppa.

Been looking after my friends little girl today which has been lovely having cuddles all afternoon, she is 4 months, same age as dd2 would have been if things hadn't gone tits up. Miss her today

Hi to the newbies sorry to are here but you have come to the right place. Hugs for those where AF has turned up or if you are feeling a bit pants today, I'll be back with the wine later and fabs news to those who have had BFPs even if they have been faint - a line is a line ladies!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Unbuffy · 08/03/2010 14:00

Afternoon all! Blimy, I can't keep up with this - it's all happening, ain't it? Can't do a namecheck without paper, pen, photographic memory and brian. Except he seems to have exploded again. So I've got two plates, one of sticky dust cakes and one of alcoholic chocolate biscuits for the lucky/hopeful/desperate-for-chocolate amongst us (help yourselves as appropriate - both if you like!). I've also got a big bag of sympathy and hugs, and snuggly blankets for those as needs 'em, and masses and masses of marshmallows dipped in luck for all of us.

A bit better here today, dh back tonight, dd eating more and screaming less, and i have a kitchen again. Still in the 'so f%$£^&* jealous' stage and likely to remain that way. An looking forward to feeling sick again asap (try explaining THAT to a man!)
