Ok, feel a bit scared actually starting the new thread but here we are, for however long (or short) our time here may be.

Off you go ladies. Welcome () one and all.

OP posts:
randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:32

too much wine.... can I call you Gaz...? MrsG?

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:31

Gaz what does "go out for dinner" mean....?

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:30

pollyanna turn over please! We have QI on.... hence am attached to laptop

Gi1da am just impressed you can use this modern technology. I can read on my phone, but not post. Am sure it's possible, but user error....

MrsGazebo · 09/03/2010 21:30

I really hope Mr.G doesn't decide to lurk on here, he'd kill me!
He's quite shy and private, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind the fact his sausage is keeping spirits up.

Hope everyone is well this evening, I'm torturing myself watching One Born Every Minute.
I have wine and we've been out for dinner.

Pollyanna · 09/03/2010 21:25

I'm here too. stupidly watching One Born Every Minute - put myself through it every week, and sob throughout

also have definitely spotted that one of my team at work is pg. made me feel very miserable. and cross.

It's definitely a rollercoaster.

Gi1da · 09/03/2010 21:16

Oops takes me ages to type on an iPod, thread always moves on before I catch up! Glad your day was ok Jollster

Gi1da · 09/03/2010 21:12

Just popping in, I'm no good company today. Just been weeping at Lamb Watch - how sad is that! No surprise then that I haven't gone anywhere near One Born Every Minute (But Still None in MY Nelly).

Hope everyone is doing ok wherever on this crazy rollercoaster they may be. Chink chink of wine glasses to you all x

and ps still at the sausage post!

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 21:04

oooo, it's like buses.... all at once or tumbleweed...
Allthe8s agree on Twunt... have heard it before, but is a truly great coagulation... hope you are jolly ce soir.

Oh and slimyak the thing I miss most about pre-children is lunchtime drinking. I used to think it was never too early for a glass of vino. God that makes me sound like a lush...

Today was a strange bonus day as was expected/ing to be in surgery. So did some retail therapy (for DS) instead...

Hi to all.

Allthe8s · 09/03/2010 20:10

Hi ladies, my my it's quiet on here tonight! A n y b o d y t h e r e ? ? ? ? ?

BunnyBaby · 09/03/2010 13:52

Yes Mrs Gazebo we were due at similar time. I was going to finish at 7 mths to take extra care as worked to 38 weeks last time. Sigh- we'll have our babies soon.

Allthe8s · 09/03/2010 13:32

twunt - I like it.

MrsGazebo · 09/03/2010 13:12

Hello MrUnbuffy

Bunny you and I were due around the same time, I didn't realise we'd be going off work so soon.
I try not to think of things like that, it also helps that my memory is appalling

Boo about early AF slimyak Mummy369 sorry to hear you're having a shit time in work, they sound like right Twunts in power suits making decisions and disregarding feelings.

I'm only staying put in my job for the maternity package, which I should've been on at least 3 times by now and this chance seems to be slipping futher away.

slimyak · 09/03/2010 10:51

Well Saturday saw the arrival of AF so a definite BFN for this month. At least it had the descency to turn up a day early and stop me waiting.

Slight change to my stats, could someone add my edit when they update?

TTC #2 ULC 26 Cycle 3 CD 4

Thank you muchly.

Right, too early for wine, early elevenses anyone?

I'm thinking, spring has sprung. SWI is almost compulsory at this time of year. Here's to a productive bout of Spring fever all round

BunnyBaby · 09/03/2010 10:44

liahgen66 and mummy369 know exactly how you feel. My cycle still not normal and should be on mat leave at end of May due beg Aug. Makes it hard as desparare to be back in pregnant bubble again.

In my team at work, one just got preg on ivf, one has wife due when I would be, boss's partner due Sept. And another had baby 2 weeks ago.

I also had heavily pregnant friend due any day bombarding me with 'how ru?' text messages. Wanted to scream 'fxxk off you've never experienced this how dare you' but wrote back saying how excited I am for her, asking how her dc's are. Her mum even had the gumph to email my mum to offer condolences. Am I touchy or are some people too smug in their responses?

tigerbear · 09/03/2010 10:30

Mummy369- sorry to hear you're having a rubbish time at work. Sounds like they need lessons in empathy and sensitivity!

tigerbear · 09/03/2010 10:19

Hi all,
Like Zayja, I haven't been on here for ages, so feel very out of the loop! Zayja, special hello to you - I know what you mean, I think I became too obsessed with MNing and thinking about TTC over the past few months (then never actually got round to doing anything about it, by way of having sex!! ) Also, have had the most stressful month work wise, so haven't had time to MN much.

If I'm pregnant this month it will be a miracle - both DH and I have been working very long hours, drinking too much caffeine, and generally not looking after ourselves (oh, and only managed to have sex twice!).

Cheepz - lovely news - very pleased for you!

Barrenbrook - I'm right there with you on the scan thing. I've had 2 scans emailed to me recently - one from a close friend and one from SIL (who already has 2 beautiful DC's). Of course am happy for them, but it is so difficult not to get down about it too.

Hi to everyone else - sorry don't have time to go through all of the thread to namecheck everyone and see what I've missed out in, but hello anyway!

Mummy369 · 09/03/2010 10:14

BTW no AF since MC 19th Jan. So something like CD50 so obviously WTF in every respect at mo!

Mummy369 · 09/03/2010 10:10

Hi again everyone,

I went back to work last monday and am having a really shite time. I had a training day to attend that I really wanted to go to but then my manager and HR were being very awkward. Finally got the ok to go and thought the return to work would be plain sailing after that. But apparently not.. Have been to told to use up all my annual leave instead of phased return, then they may add an extra couple of weeks on shorter hours after that! BTW I work with new-born babies.. and also have colleague who is pregnant - exactly same dates and with twins!

Am still not ready to TTC but would like someone to wave a magic wand so that I can be pregnant again.. would have been 18 weeks tomorrow and would have been going on A/L then mat. leave in less than 6 weeks!!

Unbuffy · 09/03/2010 10:07

Hi Mrs G - Welcome back! Would you belive my dh was asking after you a few days ago?!?!? I occasionally tell him (some of) what's goin' on here and he got all worrited about you. Bless 'im.

Hippy yes to Johnny Depp - even weird is fine by me. Plus as you all know by now my peculiar David Tennant fetish... Mr Little - well, anyone seen Stuart Little about an annoying white mouse? Quite.

Very (in a loving, congratulatory way) of redandyellow and floweringcurrant. Here's to a long and sticky one, and to anyone I've missed (Mrs G sounds like you've got the wrong type of one of those. pmsl at sausage).

Waves to all else!

Allthe8s · 09/03/2010 09:38

Morning all,

Cloudy down south too, think I am with you on the Wii fit MrsG.

Hoping you all have a nice day and chin up to those feeling a little (or a lot) pants, brighter days are just around the corner x

MrsGazebo · 09/03/2010 09:29

Mornin' all!
Hmmmm.... lookin a little cloudy here Oop North, but bright.
Was going to go on a bike ride but I'm still in bed!
May just fling myself around Living room on the Wii for a bit instead.
Won't actually need to get dressed properly then.

Jolls till I get a test sent, for me to pee in and then send back and then them send back results with more things to pee in and then wait some more I really don't know what's going on so I don't know how I could be added to the WTTC list just yet
MrsG: WTF. WTTC. WTF. TTC#1. Partial Molar MMC 8/1 .CD 62 WTF. ???? Wait. WTF.

Saw Quack 2 weeks ago so should have something to pee in winging it's way here soon.
Fingers crossed!

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 08:39

MrsGaz lovely to hear from you - you are a stream of inspiration (oh and larfs!) - admire your spirit greatly. Should you not be on the WTTC list with me and Muse?

Maitri how are you? Pop in and update us?

Morning to all. Hippy have just raised a cup to our beach date!

zayja please stay with us. I know it's tough

randomimposter · 09/03/2010 08:25

Bunnybaby think your listing is wrong from your post; what are our your correct stats and I'll amend them...
The list is probably a bit haywire with so many comings and goings... . So anyone noticing any bonkersness should amend or comment and I will....

Am chuckling away at the thought of Mr Gazibo needing bigger condoms and Mrs Gazibo having spent all the dosh on OPK's.

My DH would love it if I posted that he had a big willy - even though no one would know who he really was. hee hee.

hippychick66 · 08/03/2010 22:42

I guess if you were about 16, he might be cute. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be nasty to him. In real life he seems to be quite a funny, nice guy. But he doesn't exactly get you in the mood for TTCing does he?? .

Johnny Depp (but not when he does the weird look) or Brad Pitt (without the grey beard). Now they are far more sexy.

What a fussy old Hippy I am.

Night night all. Hope tomorrow is a better day for those of you feeling really down at the mo.
