Hey everyone,
Boys are tucked up in bed, DH is tucked up playing his PS3, all is well with the world
Saying that had a terrible day with Ben, he was really unsettled all day and I'm wondering was it due to me having glass of wine on Friday night? . Vjay have you experienced this?
anyway,e nough about me, catch up time .
Moon - big hug honey. Sorry to hear TEW has reared her ugle head and your body was giving off such good PG symptoms - its so bloody unfair. We're all here for you whenever you want us x
Barbie - you sound like you are coping brilliantly, gold post-natal star for you! You do what feels right for you re: feeding Devon, she is only a week old and probably still sleepy so make the most of it . I was always quite strict about feeding both boys every 3 hours regardless if they were sleeping but they rarely slept past 3 hours anyway.
Looking forward to reading your birth story, sounds like you went through the wars - I can relate! As a veteran of two c-sections I can say that you will get back to normal, it may take a while but you will. I remember being on holiday the year after DS1 was born and having on my skimpy tie at the side bikini and you would never have known I had a section. The scar fades to silver and is so low that even the skimpiest of pants/bikinis hide it. Just take things slowly and after about three weeks you will feel a bit more human . Have fun opening all those presents from your family!
Gracie - Isabelle is just beautiful, you must be proud as punch! My Mum is also retired and lives approx. 7 mins walk away from me. She is my life saver, comes over every day and I would be lost without her help just now as having two DS's and a house to run is bloody hard work!
cupcake - I would invest in bibs yes but more importantly thousands of muslin squares!! BF babies may not spit up much during a feed but it tends to dribble out afterwards and they can have the odd projectile so never be more than a metre away from a muslin square! DS1 was a summer baby, from teh hot summer of 2006 and sometimes all he wore was a wee vest as it was so warm. In fact one night he went to bed in just his nappy, elbeit wrapped in his shawl. M&S and Mothercare do the softest vest IMO but was also given babygrows from Asda and they were lovely and soft too. Fingers crossed on your house x
Vjay - sorry to hear Ajay has the cold, but at hime snuggling into you today.
4ever - slowly but surely honey, slowly but surely. The nursery is taking shape, just lovely. Big hand holds still though, your DD might be born on my DS1's birthday!
MLS - LOL at your DD's hair being like a toothbrush! Why are you putting her clothes on E-bay, this baby might be a girl you know!
Neeko - I was thinking of you yesterday as I srted Ben's clothes into 0-3/3-6/6/9 etc. in his wardrobe, can't think why . What's your plans for this week? Still feeling your having a boy BTW .
Mermaid - lovely to hear from you honey, have you made appointment yet?
I can hear DH boiling the kettle so time for me to sign off and shasay downstairs to watch Lost and cherish our 'couple' time before it all kicks off in the morning .
Waves and love to everyone else x
