TTC after a Miscarriage - A Fresh New Start

Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

welcome chocolate peanut, think i've seen your other thread, hope you find lots of support here, we are all a wonderful group, everyone has been such a great help.

I too am trying to concieve. I did not have a miscarriage but a stillbirth at 24 weeks on 05.04.05. I had a little girl (i had not felt any movements and the scan confirmed the worse)I was induced (it was horrible, my other daughter Lucy 20 mths was a c section so I had always wanted to give birth but not like that)We called her Philippa and we had to register her and then have a funeral.The Post Mortem revealed nothing, she was perfect and our consulatant said that we should try again. Got caught 1st month with both Lucy and Philippa so stupidly thought would again. 1st period seemed to take forever and when it started I thought hey presto but 2nd period arrived end of last week and as I was desperate to be pregnant by due date 24.07 I am a bit low.

Marked off fertile days for this month and everything is crossed..well almost everything

thanks humphreys had forgotten, but just seent he advert in the corrie break too, thanks for reminding me, i'm sure Dh would have tried to avoid watching it if i didn't remind him

Hellkat-lol-AF has sent a postcard from Fiji and is in no rush to come back (been watching too much Celeb Love Island! )

A massive warm welcome to spub and Madness. Sorry to hear about your mc's. Spub, did you have a D&C or let things happen naturally. I did the natural bit 5 weeks ago and bled for 3 weeks then nothing since and I have had the all clear but no sign of my AF. This must be the only time in my life that I am desperate for it. (AF that is )

welcome madness, sorry to hear of your loss, I hope that you get back to normal soon, and can join us in the bd and testing. we're quite laid back really,like having a laugh, and keeping each others spirits up.

Welcome Madness. Sorry its under such circumstances. Have your cycles returned to normal yet? This is a fab thread. Great For support and for a laugh. We have to keep starting new ones as they get so full. Weve done well with graduates but a few of are still here. Obviousling not putting enough effort in the old bding department . Good Luck

mc end of March, no BFP yet but wasn't too well last month and on lots of medication. this time it should happen!!!
Have mainly lurked on previous treads, was just getting me a bit down and obsessed reading too much...(above 40 y so "time is running out", but have dd and ds already.

Cori this is the one im on. The doc said it would strentghen my womb, may be a load of tosh but i trust the chinese and willing to try anything. theres alot on the web about it so worth researching. here

maddyd - yep long cycles, but at least they are regularly 35 days rather than being all over the place.

Diddle you have very long cycles, what a nightmare. You could be oving so you best do it just in case.

Can we have a statistics thread as well, I find it hard to keep up.

I was a little depressed when I got BFN, but I wasnt really trying last month. I was advised to wait for my 2nd period. The Af is completly normal so now feel more confident about trying this month.

Maddyd, What chinese herbs are you taking? Who prescribed them.?

night night Hellkat, ok maddyd, now you're getting me back

I am on cd 25, i normally ov around cd15-17, so hopefully i did. but am a little puzzled as TMI ALERT I think i have ewcm today, very weird. better bd just in case.
My Af will be due on cd 35ish so have a bit of a wait yet.

Im also going back on my Chinese herbs even though they taste disgusting. God i hope my af doesnt take as long as last month. Diddle were are you in your cycle now, must be ov time ???
