Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Howdy girls

Had a horrible day at work-frustrating more than anything. You know the type of day where you run round in circles and get nowhere? Bah!

HellKat-nope, no sign of madam. I'll give her one more week then I'm flying out to fetch her home and when I get my hands on her life won't be worth living. Then she can go on an extended holiday with my blessing .

madrush and petunia-a big welcome to you both {{xx}}-everyone is lovely on here and I will miss them dreadfully if I ever get PG.

madrush-why is it we never notice bumps normally, only when we are TTC? Bah!

Hope everyone is OK and I'll catch ya later.
x

Hi to everyone.
I had a mc 3 wks ago when I was 11 wks pg and been over on the miscarriage/ bereavement board. Decided I needed some positive thoughts and babydust, so am hoping I can join in over here.

HellKat · 05/07/2005 14:50

Diddle- It's the wonky, wandering eye thing Makes him looks distinguished!
Madrush- My cycle used to be regular until this mc. Did'nt have a clue when I was due nor ov. Finally got my af a week ago Friday and my mc was in April.
Maddy- How's the office going?
Xena- have a great meet up. Hope the weather holds out for you. Crappy here. Cold and wet.
Humphreys- any sign of the "holidaying floozy" yet? .
Hi everyone else! x

Xena · 05/07/2005 14:06

Yes it was nice we went to Greenwich park

madrush · 05/07/2005 13:08

Thanks Diddle, will add stats. Have been actively ttc since month or so after mc. Maybe our lucky month is coming up soon.

Diddle · 05/07/2005 10:32

oooohhh that sounds nice Xena, are there many going?

OP posts:
Xena · 05/07/2005 10:27

Goodmorning all.
Off to the park today for a 'mumsnet meetup'
Have a good day all!!!

Diddle · 05/07/2005 09:41

For those of you that haven't already we have got a ttc after a m/c stats page so please feel free to add your details

OP posts:
Diddle · 05/07/2005 09:40

Madrush - it is apparently normal for our cycles to be all over the place, might take a while to regulate.

OP posts:
Diddle · 05/07/2005 09:38

madrush - welcome, sorry to hear about you're m/c. Are you actively ttc or just considering it? Yes it is very normal to stare at pregnancy bumps in envy, and we are surrounded by them, although i do think we have a sixth sense about them, and they've always been there really. Everywhere i turn i see one.

Hellkat - Rik Mayall, tell me you're kidding, yuk yuk yuk think i'll stick to Tom Cruise

OP posts:
madrush · 05/07/2005 09:19

Hi everyone, I've been lurking on TTC threads for a bit since mc in Feb.... finally admitting to myself that I do need to join in

My cycle just doesn't seem to have settled down since mc which is a shock, used to be regular as clockwork.

Best of luck to everyone this month! Glad to have found a bunch like you - is it fair to say quite obsessed with ttc, yet with a sense of humour?

Anyone else find themselves staring at pregnancy bumps with envy (and aren't there just so many around) or is that just me?!

spub · 05/07/2005 08:53

Morning to you all!
This thread is so friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the hellos to date and here's hoping we all get the BFP soon.
Hi to the other newbies - chocolatepeanut and madness. Big hugs to you both.
Humphrey's corner re your earlier posting - I didn't have a D&C - they said there was no sac when they did the internal scan and though they thought I might have retained some tissue (hence the higher than normal but not high enough to be properly pregnant HcG levels) they let things alone. I had a small bleed about 2 weeks after they confirmed the miscarriage which may have taken care of anything left (sorry if this is tmi).
Cori, I had the acupuncture last night and hope it does the trick for me like it did for you. It was very strange but relaxing too though I did yelp when he put the needles into one particular point on my calf which corresponded to - yes, you guessed it, my uterus! He thinks 4 sessions over a month should be enough to get me back on track.
Hope you are all having a good day.

HellKat · 05/07/2005 08:33

Oldest one I do has to be Rik Mayall. He's lully!!!
Maddy- have a good day!

maddyd · 05/07/2005 08:15

Diddle · 05/07/2005 07:48

Maddy- Ohh yes. my dreams were filled with you! Lol. Actually, had rather saucy one about Brad Pitt and dp! MMMMMM

Diddle · 05/07/2005 07:18

Good luck to you too Cori.

It makes me feel so much better knowing we are all in this together.

cori · 04/07/2005 22:08

Hi Choclatepeanut.
Welcome to our thread.
I had a missed miscarriage, at 17 weeks. I had to be induced as well, my current DS was also a ceaserean so the experience of birth was completly new too me. So I know how you feel.
I have also been told that I will probably have to have a ceasrean nxt time too, which makes me feel quite sad.
Good luck this month. This my first proper month of trying also.
