Here we go, another new thread for us to fill with our highs and lows.

Lets start off with a good dusting of babydust, think all the rest we had has washed off in the rain

Think my AF might be on its way have had a dull ache in my back for a few days and feel very bloated, and slightly sick. fingers crossed it stays away. due on anytime within the next week.
Will not be impressed if she turns up, tried very hard at the right time, BD every day on holiday which is when i would have OV, so who knows whats going on.

Morning maddyd - very strange af for you, never had one that short myself, lucky you.
Trying not to put the tv on too much, not sure what affect it might have on the kids, plus i've got loads to do as always. sun is shining here, finally, supposed to be a nice weekend too. lets hope so

Woke up this morning and af has gone already, god knows where. Its the shortest one ever. Mind you sometimes she does that and then pops back for one day.

morning Hellkat - we agree here, we think its the calm before the storm. Lovely and sunny here in the West Midlands, haven't been outside though, might be freezing, hope it stays dry, lot sof the kids ahve sports day today, it was cancelled yesterday.

Xena - Happy birthday to DD1, hope that she has a good day, and that your DH is okay after yesterday.

Morning all.
Xena- Hope your dh got home safe and sound. I agree that this could be just the start (put that yesterday on the "due in Nov" thread). Go on .... be tempted .
There's twos reasons why they targetted London.

  1. All eyes are focused there atm
  2. Security is'nt as heightened as normal due to PM being in scotland. Can't shake the feeling though, that this was a bit too easy to recover from. Especially as their trademark is "Suicide Bomber". Hmmm. Makes you wonder if this is the calm before the storm. I sincerly hope not. Supposed to be 70 deg here in East Midlands (but blooming freezing atm). Hope everyone has a great day x

xena - everyone is different, there is no set day that you should OV, it can vary. Have you got any signs of OV? EWCM or have you tested???

Hope you're DH is home soon, and i agree that it could be the start of more attacks. i don't think we've seen the last of them.

Having a veyr long day today, still have a mindie here until just after 9, started at 6.50am. very tired. Luckily the little one is asleep, but i thought he might stay awake as he was still here.

Xena · 07/07/2005 19:03

On the ttc not my lmp was the 23/6 so I should have OV yesterday right?

Xena · 07/07/2005 19:02

I just want him home diddle. Mind I felt that about DS at school when things happen I'm turn into mother hen and don't want to let my brood out of my site.
I hope its over, but I have a feeling this is just the start of it.

Diddle · 07/07/2005 18:27

glad to hear you are all coping well with it, Xena - Your DH must be doing a great job there, he'll be knackered when he comes home.

Horrible to think how close to us it all is, very scary

Hi Guys were in London Home is not central thankgoodness but DH was working in Essex and had to go the Royal Free in London, but someone has to do it I suppose, as there are short on ambulances his car has been used. So he can't even try to come home for a while

2GIRLS · 07/07/2005 17:11

Really awful what's happened in London. I moved away from there but all family and friends there, though not near the centre.
Really feel for the poor people who were caught up in it.

HellKat · 07/07/2005 16:18

Used to live in North London (thank goodness about 15/18 miles from central London)

HellKat · 07/07/2005 16:17

Would happily torture all terrorists myself!
Hope everyone's coping with the dreadful news.
Two weeks ago, my mum would've been at the Kings Cross station! Thank goodness she retired.
My thoughts are with the families and I hope that those concerned did'nt suffer.

Diddle · 07/07/2005 13:49

Are there any more of us in Londond, does anyone know.

OP posts:

AM ok - very glad that I managed to escape working in London though as this time last year I'd have been there. Lots of scares around here though with bus and train stations closed, and a colleague says that the main road south from here seem sto have been closed off, though don't know why.

Diddle · 07/07/2005 13:29

phew - thank god you're ok was getting a little worried

OP posts:
cori · 07/07/2005 13:26

Yep I am fine. I was on the tube on the way to work, all the trains were suspended, thankfully my tube was stopped at a station just one stop away from home. I was able to get off and catch a bus home.
I am just grateful I was late for work today, otherwise I would be stuck in Hammersmith with no way home.

Diddle · 07/07/2005 12:36

CORI - You okay, you're in London aren't you, is everything alright???
