yep, still having all those symptoms. plus i forgot to mention i need the loo all the time.

sarjon · 01/08/2005 13:15

Ooooh hope4bump that does sound really hopeful! I have no idea how long it takes for results to get back from the dr's for pregnancy, sorry. I know it took 5 days when I had a bloodtest for something else tho if thats any help?

Lilaclotus, keeping my fingers crossed for you that your af stays away. Are you still getting the pregnancy symptoms you said you were having on saturday?

Pigleychez, did you test over the weekend?

I apologise if I leave people out when posting - do try and keep track (even saved a list of everyone on my computer but couldnt keep up!!) but I'm sure there were more people around when this thread started originally!

This month hasn't been the best month with my DH working nights and me being stressed about my dissertation so we decided to try in ernest next month (can't wait !!)

Am living my out my broodiness in my bf's pregnancy at the moment and looking after her son (my Godson) when she's feeling rough with morning sickness etc!!!

lilaclotus · 01/08/2005 12:38

hope4bump, that sounds really hopeful! i hope your next test is a big clear line!
homemama, sorry about AF coming. hope to see you around. good luck with the move!
i tested saturday, but BFN. though period wasn't due till today. i am so tempted to buy some more tests. but i think i will wait and see for now.

Toothache · 01/08/2005 11:58

Hope4Bump - A line is a line!! I got a really faint line (almost non-existant!!) 5 days before my AF was due..... DD will be 1 tomorrow!

I think you'll find your next one is a clear BFP!.

hope4bump · 01/08/2005 11:55

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a result back from gp for pg blood test?

hope4bump · 01/08/2005 11:24

Tested again this morning, couldn't wait till tomorrow, wish i had, showed very very faint line, confused now, just want to know for sure, used last ultra early test today so only got normal test left, think i am going to use it tomorrow and see. i am expecting to receive the clearblue digital ones today, so i am going to use one of those on thursday if Af not shown (Af due thursday) although still having odd sicky feelings during day, keeps coming and going for couple of hours.

Sarjon - how are you doing this month.
Homemamma - good luck with the house move, i there will be a new arrival in a new house next year.
Lovecloud - plenty of bd, do you keep track of temp, or using any OPK's?

Why does our body give us this much stress waiting, how did we cope before early pregnancy tests where you had to wait until you were about 6 weeks pregnant before you found out

sarjon · 01/08/2005 08:50

Hope4bump, sorry to hear bout you negative result , keeping my fingers crossed that your af stays away!

Homemama good luck with moving, it is v stressful isn't it so not surprised you want to wait for few months. Hope it all goes well for you, stay in contact

I'm off to an antenatel class with my bf tonight (her DH is working) which should be interesting!!! Its something to do with care in early pregnancy because she had pre eclampsia with her DS and he was 8 weeks prem. I think this may either make me even more broody than I am already or totally cure me !!

homemama · 01/08/2005 08:39

AF appeared yesterday so I wont be testing again.
We're going to take a couple of months off from ttc as we're moving house in 2 mths and I can't bear to be sick for that (I suffered severe sickness with DS) - but I'll keep in touch.

Good luck to all of you

lovecloud · 31/07/2005 20:24

hope4bump

hope4bump · 31/07/2005 19:57

Tested this morning - BFN, hopefully too early, even temperature showed high this morning, (good sign for being pg) going to retest on Tuesday, AF not due until Thursday, so waiting to see which appears BFP or AF. Going holiday on Saturday, so want to find out for sure before then if can. Have ordered clearblue digital to test on Thursday if Af not arrived.

Sorry Homemamma about BFN.
MrsQ glad you had a good time. hopefully the morning sickness will ease off. I have had afternoon sickness feelings for last two days, don't know why with BFN)

hope everyone had good weekend.
Trying not to build hopes up too much but hard not too, even DH was surprised with BFN.

MrsQ · 31/07/2005 19:21

Hi Everyone, just back from a week in a soggy Cornwall. Felt a bit left out of the drinking in the evening but other than that just a mild bit of 'morning' sickness a few days in the afternoon. Sorry to hear about BFN Homemama ... hopefully you'll be testing again by Monday Looking forward to hearing good results from Pigleychez and Hope4bump x

lilaclotus · 30/07/2005 16:02

hi girls!
we have just had a lovely week in the lake district. weather was nice until thursday and then it turned rather grey and wet, but we still had fun.
i've been having the usual pregnancy symptoms (heavy boobs, feeling sick/heartburn, tired...) so i am a bit hopeful. but DP says i'm probably not, as my "hair is still falling out" as he's still finding it all over the place. told you he's a charmer! ;) anyway, AF is due tomorrow or monday. will be testing maybe wednesday if late.
best of luck to you all and it is nice to be back on here!

sarjon · 30/07/2005 12:13

really sorry to hear bout your bfn homemama. As you say, it is only the first month, but that doesn't really make you feel any better. Fingers crossed that your af doesn't arrive over the weekend - it is still early days yet!

Pigleychez, let us know if you decide to test this weekend or not!!

Hope4bump - fingers crossed for Sunday for you, let us know the results!!

xx

homemama · 30/07/2005 10:46

Hi all,
BFN this morning
Can't believe I'm so disappointed as this was our first month trying.
No AF yet, so if it still hasn't appeared by mon, I may test again. Not holding out hope though.

pigleychez · 29/07/2005 16:13

Hi hope4bump,

I havent tested yet. may do one this weekend if i have enough courage!

Good luck everyone.

sarjon · 29/07/2005 10:49

Ooooh Homemama, fingers crossed for you - let us know as soon as you test!!! (you'd best buy a double pack so you can test today and tomorrow!!!)

Wish I was at that stage but know that this not the month for us, will have to be patient and wait til next month now I guess! First time ever that I've actually wanted my af to show up so we can get on with bding!!! (af due middle of next week).

hope4bump · 29/07/2005 10:46

Good luck for tomorrow homemama,
im going to test on Sunday. Had really bad headache last night, ended up going to bed early, feeling quite sicky today, anybody have any suggestions. Is it too early for these to be pg symptoms.
Pigleychez - have you tested yet?
Hello Dana - hope you ok?
Anyone else testing this weekend??

homemama · 29/07/2005 09:50

No AF yet today so I'm off to do the shop and I'll pick up a test whilst I'm there. I'll try not to test until tomorrow. (yeah right )
I'll let you all know.

Dana · 28/07/2005 13:13

MandM I am lucky - my desk is in a really good spot and my boss is in another country. Still, I try to limit my use of the internet, as I do have work to do as well

Sounds like our hubbies will be walking around with big on their faces for the next few weeks.

MandM · 28/07/2005 12:51

Hello! I'm here too - don't panic Homemama.

Got a "polite" reminder from my boss the other day about my use of the internet in work time so have been trying to be a bit more restrained than normal! I might have to request a DSE assessment and complain about glare on my monitor so I can get my desk away where it can't be seen!

Goodluck to H4B and Pigleychez!

Nothing new here really, CD9 today. Dh has got a busy couple of weeks coming up!

I'll check in again soon when the boss isn't around!

Dana · 28/07/2005 11:59

pigleychez, a lot of women have light bleeds in early pregnancy, so could be the case for you. Only way to know is to do a test. Let us know how you get on....

Dana · 28/07/2005 11:58

Homemama, I am still here but haven't had a lot to report. AF finished yesterday, so will be BDing like mad for the next 2-3 weeks (have no idea when I will be ovulating). Hope your AF doesn't show tomorrow and that you get a BFP on Sat.

Jersey, sorry that it wasn't to be this time, but maybe it is for the best if you weren't planning to start til after xmas. Really difficult if you're feeling broody, though. Took me 6 months to convince DH he was ready to try for another one.

H4B, welcome to the thread and good luck on Sunday .

hope4bump · 28/07/2005 10:56

no expert, have you tested???

pigleychez · 28/07/2005 10:21

Hi,
About 2 weeks ago i started having symptoms of sore boobs, headaches, tiredness and grumbly belly. This was about a week before my AF, so i was wondering if thesewere pregnancy symptoms. However AF arrived one day late but only lasted for 2 days instead of my usual 4/5 days. I am now wondering if this could of been implantation bleeding or something as i am still (nearly 3 weeks later) feeling extremerly tired, having headaches/light headedness, backache and strange grumbly belly thats worse in the morning.
What do you think?

hope4bump · 28/07/2005 10:19

Homemama - i had last depo inj Dec 04, got 1st AF in June, although has slight bleed in May. I have DD 14 and DS 11 from previous marriage(i was young). got married in May to DH who has no children so this will be our first, fingers crossed for us all.

Good luck to Jersey for xmas, and to all ttc.
