Neeko what is it with our dd's? Mine didn't wake up until 7.30 on Christmas day. When I was little a 4am wake up on Christmas morning was the norm!

I had a busy few days with Christmas eve at DH's parents and Christmas Day at my parents. DH is on night shifts Christmas Day, Boxing day and tomorrow night but we've managed to see quite a bit of each other round his shifts - so much easier when there's only one of you working shifts! I've done absolutely nothing today which has been lovely!

Morning all and a happy boxing day to you all. Just popping in to check everyone is ok and to stock the greenhouse with some of the zillions of selection boxes that arrived at our house yesterday.
Had a great day yesterday although I HAD to wake DD at 7.15am I'd been awake on and off since 5 with the lo kicking and couldn't wait any longer. It didn't take her long to get in the mood though
Santa apparently got stuck here judging by all the toys and the dinner went well (even if my cake was a little soft in the middle - no one told me the knitting needle trick!)

Probably won't be on much as DH is off - yay!- until third but will be available on my new phone if needed. I may also send out a few blank texts as I'm struggling with the whole touchscreen thing.

Just a quick one from me wishing everyone a merry christmas.

This time last year, me and DH were on our way to India, and so started Saara's journey as she was conceived out there.

We don't celebrate christmas but its nice to have the time off. DH has been told not to come into work this week (he's still working as a temp) but the good news is his contract has been extended to the end of March. This week will be the longest time DH has spent off with me and Saara as he didnt get any paternity leave (he had to start this role on the day Saara was born!) But at least I get a babysitter to I can hit the sales

Hello to everyone else, i dont want to be rude in front of the family and spend too much time but i couldnt let today go past without wishing you all lots of festive cheer.

The inlaws are here and its manic...too many boys in such a small villa, im trying my best to stay out of the way!

Way too stuffed after our christmas lunch, the midwife is going to be in for a shock when she weighs me next time

Mermaid I've been thinking about you all day, I hope you are bearing up & that physically the worst of it is over now.

Well I've just filled dd's santa sack full to the brim with prezzies. I'm not sure which one of the two of us is more excited! This is the first year she is aware of the whole Christmas/Santa/prezzie thing & she fell asleep super quick when I said if she lay still & quiet she might be able to hear the reindeer on the roof - sweet!

Despite my positive thinking I don't think I'll get a bfp this cycle, one of my first symptoms is always a bad attack of thrush & so far I'm fine! I'm ok about it though as I've had sooooo much wine on tap this week & it's showing no sign of drying up!

Well I hope you all have a fabulous day tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you all from no pants, to big pants, to saggy pants. My special thoughts will be with you Mermaid, sending lots of healing vibes your way lovely lady.

Just on really quickly, parents coming round, but just wanted to let mermaid know she is in my thoughts, you really deserve so much more my lovely. You sound so brave as always but we all know the inner turmoil. You always have such wise and lovely words for us all that's why you are in all of our thoughts. Take care and try and have as nice a Christmas as possible, going to light a candle at church tomorrow for you.

On a happier note huge congratulations to blue, have already sent her a text, good news is always so welcome on here. One thing I have been thinking is how blue was the one in my thoughts for the same reason as mermaid last christmas and look now, there is always light ladies.

Sorry I haven't been on but thanks to barbie for filling you in. Booked in for c-section on 30th, will be back on for a proper catch up after Christmas as long as lo doesn't make an early appearance.

morning, god all your messages - don't know what to say, dear of you all.

I am cleaning the dishwasher with one of those expensive things, fridge shelves are out, about to make cranberry sause.
Will probably collapse in a bit but it feels useful.

It is lovely to both be off work and being able to have time to cope with this. dh has been so hearbreakingly fantastic and I have sat here counting all my blessings.

I feel oddly different this time, babies aren't upsetting me nor bumps. I think I mentally realise finally that this is our lot, no point me wasting more time on trying to change things.
I know I'll feel dreadful next week but hey thats what dhs credit card is for

I am picturing you all snuggled up over Christmas with a very excited ds - waht a Christmas present. Its a perfectly completed circle.

Just checking in... Couldn't sleep last night so went and dug the snow from round our warm and cozy greenhouse - tis more comfy than the stairs so come on in - we have wine with or without alcohol, a never ending supply of chocolate plus tea, sympathy, empathy, smiles, tears and hairstrokes plus a bucket of sand (head sized) for those of us on a 2 week wait.

I am off to peel mountains of spuds for a friend who does Christmas dinner for 50 people under the care of the mental health team who have nowhere to go tomorrow - back later

Morning. Mermaid I'm so sorry about your news and heartbroken and devastated for you. I so so hoped that your Christmas miracle was coming true and that your world had righted itself once more. I'm sorry I wasn't here for you last night. My phone was off and both 4ever and MLS had left me messages and I've been crying for you ever since.

Budge up girls, I've brought lots of cushions as your bums must be numb after a night on the stairs.

Just moving my duvet back to the stairs before mermaid gets up. I've been lying here beside my lovely dh counting my blessings but in tears for brave mermaid I am going to try and do something useful and make some hot chocolate and some very buttery croissants and bring them back to the stairs. And even if mermaid doesn't feel up to talking today, I may just lurk here a while with the rest of you xxx

I'm staying with the inlaws for Xmas and phone coverage is up and down but have at least got access to wifi on phone thankfully. Sending big hugs and christmas wishes to everyone xxx

It's typical of you to be worrying about others but please for once let us worry about you and try somehow to take some of your load.
