monkey I am so sorry this is so sad , thinking of you xxxxx

mermaid and mls I am no superwoman believe me , I am only doing half the amount of study this year as there is no way I could fit it all in, i only have to do about 3 evenings study a week, which is just about managable. Dh helps with bedtime and bathtime, I just have to be super organised that's all, and there are some weeks when it just won't happen. i'm doing this for my boys, and me ofcourse , so quite motivated, which helps.

sabs I think it would be nice to all meet up one day, could you imagine it, it would be so much fun

4ever thinking of you too xx

barbie you are definatley nesting

Ajay is past the chicken korma poos, his are slightly more solid now due to all the veg puree he eats, who asked about this anyway I only skimmed through the posts, sorry

Morning.
Iggy Royce ones from Bravissimo are what you're after. A bit matronly but lots of support and your boobs will thank you later.

MLS Blue and Barbie You've just reminded me of the chicken korma style poos - yuck!

I'll leave you all on that lovely note

barbie1 · 21/01/2010 07:43

Hello girls....im full of energy again ....mls gave me a bit of a fright this morning by mentioning labour, i had forgotten that i have to go through that! I think i had managed to successfully bury all thoughts of pain, poo, blood etc etc until i read that post.

Now i have finally sucummed and packed my hospital bag...along with it a few tears.Where do the horrormones make you soooo emotional? Baby nappies are so small arent they????

monkey i hope you managed to get back to you family and the weather didnt cause too much of a problem, i hve been thinking about you constantly. Much love to you and the family.

cupcake i did lol at your post re the massage... i too thought you had to only do it on the outside well that was until the midwife went into lots of graphic details on how it should be done its hard to do with a bump in the way...i get frustrated at how short my arms actually are! can dh do it for you???? I just try a little while in the bath (tmi!)

jools good timing to get back to dp for hope wales isnt too cold and the internet connection holds on for you to do more farming!

neeko i posted on gg facebook, but nothing has been sent back yet....in fact it looks like she hasnt even been on there for a few days i wonder.......

mermaid kudo's for you going to the gym, i really want to go to burn off some energy instead yesterday i made 10 meals to freeze on my cookathon...ironed all of dh work shirts, washed the pram....mastered the art of the bugaboo (you really do need a phd to use a pram!) walked the dog, cleaned the villa and now im on to washing the baby clothes...

I bought fairy as recommended by toy lovely ladies but it was £8 and napstan or whatever it is cost just the same....thank goodness i have people coming out who can bring some essentials....

moon i will dig out my wedding planning book and let you know of a few good wedding websites....have you got any idea of what kind of wedding you would like? im so love wedding talk! Im off with a friend in an hour to collect her wedding dress....

sabs loving the baby massage, im trying to find groups around here for when baby arrives before i become a total recluse.....

blue boak @ the talk of poo....yellow? arggghhhhhh

iggy i have heard many women on here saying to aviod m and s and mothercare for bra's I would just get measured in a few places and then take your time and try on some and find the most comfortable....

cupcakefairy · 20/01/2010 22:48

Sabs1981 · 20/01/2010 22:41

A quickie from me to say to monkey how sorry I am to hear about your mum. Thinking of you and your family.

Hugs to everyone else especially moon and 4ever

Me and Saara had our first baby massage class. It went very well and it was nice to meet other mums in the area with their babies. It got me thinking about how I would really love to meet all you lovely ladies... Maybe one day

Will be back soon - but will be lurking as always

bluesatinsash · 20/01/2010 22:15

Wee sneaky post to say how sorry I am to hear your news Monkey . I didn't know your Mum was ill... Just awful. Thinking about you lots and lots xxx

MLS - yes I had bleeding just after ovulation with DS1. I actually went to doctors as was worried cycle was all to pot as it was our third month of trying and first of using ov sticks. Anyway, went back to same docs ten days later to register BFP . So there you go! p.s. Ben's poo's are yellow not green !

Big waves and love to everyone else, just not got time at the mo' to even catch up. We have a PC rather than a laptop and its upstairs in spare room so can't just nip on it..

MummyLovesSadie · 20/01/2010 21:39

Hello Jools eek at ewcm - I always start to panic when I get mine in a kind of will he/wont he, can he/can't he, sort of fashion.

Moon I can't remember how long you have to be working for a company before you qualify for mat leave. I think it is much less time now than it used to be but sods law if you find a new job you will be up the duff in the first week you are there! Also have you tried preseed? I'm convinced it is what helped me get pregnant 5 times last year. Not only does it encourage the swimmers to the right place but it makes them live longer too.

Monkey still thinking about you. I wish I knew what to say but really I'm at a loss.

Mermaid good on ya for going to the gym. I keep thinking I need to kick my flabby tum into shape but then the greedy lazy hippo inside me keeps saying 'you'll be pregnant soon' so I don't do anything about it. I can't find the site I pasted on here about baby aspirin but here is another one that says the same thing. As for smoothies, I dropped a not-so-subtle hint to dh yesterday about us needing a smoothie machine!

LBM how can you have snow? You don't live far away from me, all we've had today is that horrible slushy sleet stuff. Ordinarily I'd be saying I'm jealous but I'm so over the snow, you can keep it!

Cupcake how did you think perineal massage was done, hmmmm?

4ever how are you doing today? Did you drive down there in the end or stay safe & snuggled at home?

Neeko have you got any of your new teeny-tiny nappies out of the bag yet? Just think, in a few weeks they will be full of black (then green) stinky poo!

Barbie I don't want to worry you but just before you go into labour you get a massive burst of energy.

Vjay are you superwoman?? How can you do coursework & look after TWO children???

Lion I think Woking town centre has improved slightly.... actually we have an H&M opening up soon - what more could a girl ask for?! We go shopping quite a bit in Guildford too (much more civilised than Woking) but that hill is such a bugger if you are pushing a buggy. One of my faves is Basingstoke which is where I did a bit of retail therapy today!

Iggy Hot Milk do great underwear but it is a bit pricey. I always stick to Miriam Stoppard bra's from Debenhams!

Well I'm 4dpo & I'm having a few symptoms but all I have to say is !

Joolsiam · 20/01/2010 20:05

Really sorry to hear your news Monkey - it sounds like a huge shock

Just quickly sending good wishes to everyone, and a sparkly gold star to Mermaid for getting to the gym I'm away in Bridgend teaching and the hotel's internet connection is pretty flaky, so I've had to go cold turkey and not even harvest my crops in Farmville !!

All OK here, apart from suddenly realising just how porky I've become. I'm still not 100% fit, so haven't been doing much in the gym. Need to book a GP appt for next week, so will mention how run down I seem to be.

CD10 here I think and I'm just starting to see some EWCM, so hopefully DP will be very pleased to see me after 3 nights away

Will lurk on phone and come back at the weekend with a proper internet connection to post to everyone. Thinking of you all x x x

BlueMoon1981 · 20/01/2010 19:13

monkey i am soooo sorry to hear your sad news, i wish we could do something to help, thinking of you lots at this horrible time xxx

mermaid honed abs? i most certainly do not have any of those, never have and never will! who was it who said they had dense bones - thats me too!

still feeling a bit crap but think work has been getting me down too though. i've had enough and want to leave but am hanging on for maternity leave am i stupid to stay because of that alone? trying to throw myself into thinking about weddings and ebaying stuff round the house to make some extra cash. just learnt df will be working away for a week at the end of the month. he used to work away a lot but i am used to having him home now so am not impressed. still, its good pay and he'd be silly to turn it down.

sorry for the me post hope everyone else is ok

iggypiggy · 20/01/2010 17:52

4ever I meant to add - I know today is a bad day for you - so the above is prob last thing you want to talk about. I hope you are ok xx

iggypiggy · 20/01/2010 17:04

4ever if you are around - i wondered if you could poss help someone on another thread I am on? She has just had her 6th MC and has NK cells (is that the same as you?) - with the last one she saw a heartbeat - but was gone by 10 weeks - she was on a prednisolone drugs trial. Anyway - I've searched our threads and I couldn't find anything explaining what you had? Sorry if you'd rather not tho.

cupcakefairy · 20/01/2010 16:32

LBM- flipping schools! Closing at the first sign of any sleet, ridiculous. Feel sorry for your poor dcs they can't've been the only ones though surely? Do other parents have their phones surgically attached to their hands?

mermaid LOL! I'm glad I added the bit about the mattress being removable!

Have just read that editor's pick thread about perineal massage... I had no idea that was how you do it

littlebellsmum · 20/01/2010 15:42

monkey So sorry to hear your news. Take care of your self and get lots of cuddles from your ds.

mermaid Tell me more about the elderberry cordial smoothies - how do you make them? I need something yummy to drink!

I'm currently stuck at work, waiting for the bus to go - there is snow on the ground and so everyone else has run away, they have closed the kids school which isn't pleasing me and they did it by text which I picked up two hours later. So by the time the nanny got to the kids, they were a bit upset as they thought they were being left.... Not happy. Ah well, bus goes in 15 minutes and then at least I can get out of here!!

Ah, feel much better for getting that off my chest! I should be back on later

mermaidspurse · 20/01/2010 14:43

mls what was that you found re taking asprin before conception again? Seems Lesley Regan reckons its not good for those who don't have the syndrone and that it can actually cause mc?

ps coke is yuk girl, embrace smoothies with frozen raspberries or elderflower cordial. I did try nettle beer at the weekend... utterly vile.

4ever have they finished their lunch break and gotten your results? hope your mum managed ok today thinking about you all and monkey lots too.x

cupcake have this insane vision of you squeezed into a moses basket with a dummy in your mouth

Neeko · 20/01/2010 11:51

Mermaid Gold start for gym - eat as many s as you like! Strappy things are helping but very tight on bump!

Barbie Hope you have some news for us on GG soon. Not long til it's your turn. Enjoy the nesting, your house will be a tip for the first year few weeks afterwards but you won't care at all.

Big waves to the others. MUST do some work!

Neeko · 20/01/2010 11:46

Monkey I'm also really sorry. What a sad and horrible thing for you. Remember we are all here for you. take care of yourself, lovely, and take comfort from the rest of your family right now.

MummyLovesSadie · 20/01/2010 11:39

Oh Monkey so terribly sorry to hear your news. Have a huge hug from me.

cupcakefairy · 20/01/2010 11:28

Oh gosh monkey I'm so sorry, can't imagine what you're going through. Massive hugs to you and your family xxx

Moon glad you are still lurking there.. 6 months does seem to be the danger zone, I was just coming up to it when I got my BFP and it's the pits Remember we are always here for anything you need xxx

Lion I read somewhere that sitting/lying on the moses basket mattress while you feed will warm it up for baby to go back in..if the mattress is removable that is!

MLS glad acupuncture is still going well...get those herbal teas down you girl!!

4ever well done for putting yourself first and resting up, you need to for your own peace of mind right now. Hope funeral went ok.

Iggy yay for 14 weeks won't be long before you're in big pants!

Sciatica a bit better for walking now but still horrendously painful at night and keeping me awake baby is so active this morning, keeps making me catch my breath with sudden movements but in a nice way

4everhopeful · 20/01/2010 11:18

So sorry & deepest sympathies to u & all the family poor Monkey... Big hugs & prayers, its so sad.. x x x x x

barbie1 · 20/01/2010 10:51

big hugs monkey take all the time in the world, we are here for hugs and hairstrokes when you get back....

mermaidspurse · 20/01/2010 10:38

monkey oh lovely lady so very sad to read your news. Thinking of you and your family.xx

iggypiggy · 20/01/2010 10:36

monkey so sorry to hear that - thinking of you xx

monkeybumsmum · 20/01/2010 10:27

Haven't read back through any posts, but just coming on quickly to say that I won't be around for a little while. My poor mum died yesterday, and I've come back to the UK with dh and ds to be with my dad and brother.
I just can't believe this is happening. It all seems too much to take in.

Hope you're all okay x

mermaidspurse · 20/01/2010 10:23
