****October bus ready to depart****

OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

Drags self up steps onto bus. Flops into nearest seat. Evening all. Can I join you? I don't even know if I'm on the right bus, but if you've got plenty of tissues, I don't really mind! In exchange, I've got mint humbugs and am willing to share. I also have a bad case of the 'this is never going to blardy happen' blues, so please excuse me if I retreat behind my newspaper.

Armi TTC#1 Cycle 7 UCL 28 CD 24

(I know I should be in the breathless 'shall I test?!' phase, but I just KNOW this has been another wash out, which is why I'm here not inflicting myself on the September bus. Blows nose on copy of The Times)

Lorelai · 16/01/2010 17:23

Aarrggghhhhh - this is so frustrating. I have no idea whether or not I have ovulated, and therefore no idea whether or not I am evening waiting for anything on the 2ww if that makes sense.

I noticed the tiniest amount of something that could have been EWCM, but equally could not. I have definitely had more of it in previous cycles, but since I haven't ever paid any attention to my cycle I don't know when in the cycle it comes, or if it is every month, or anything really (need a grrr emoticon!).

And we haven't managed much BD, so the chances that I am pg are minimal, which is fine; as I said above I am reasonably laid back about it for this month (at the moment!! ), but it would still be nice to know one way or the other if it was even possible.

Sorry, just needed to get that out - rant over!

digitalgirl · 16/01/2010 17:09

iloveGH am not giving up anything for the 2ww until I get a bfp. Not getting drunk and keeping to one coffee a day in general.

Feel as though I'm coming down with something. Which of course is not a symptom. Have two very busy weeks of work coming up so hopefully they should go quickly.

Sorry to those joining us from the September bus. September is traditionally the busiest time in the labour ward. Don't quite know what I'm getting at there, but something along the lines of 'bring on the 10/10 bfps!'

nymphadora · 16/01/2010 15:17

Hi newbys! and people from September!

Going to be a big bus this one!

Lorelai · 16/01/2010 15:16

Hi VodkaGirl, welcome!

This bus is really filling up - we may have to splash out for a double decker soon!

VodkaGirl77 · 16/01/2010 15:07

Hi

I was wondering if I could join you all. I had my copper coil taken out on Wednesday, which is probably a bit late on in my cycle for an October baby, but you never know right?

Anyway my stats are

TTC#3 Cycle 1 UCL 28 CD20

Lorelai · 16/01/2010 14:58

Eadwacer, welcome! This is my first cycle of TTC too (already have a DD though), and I was surprised how obsessed I got at the start too!

Have calmed down now though, partly because I don't think its going to happen this month (I'm not even sure I have ovulated, plus not enough SWI even if I have!), and partly because other things have happened in my life this month which makes me not sure if this is 100% the right time to have a baby (we are still going to TTC, but it has just made me a little more laissez faire about it).

Stuffed - sorry to hear AF got you - fingers crossed that this is your lucky month!

stuffedmk · 16/01/2010 14:17

AF got me yesterday so am shifting to the back

Hello hello, can I use my Oyster card on this bus please?!

I know I'm aggravatingly all over the boards just now, but can't talk to friends and family about TTC (I cannot face the squeals and questions!) and MN is keeping me this side of sane...

I think this is me, but I might have worked it out all wrong:

TTC#1 Cycle1 UCL24 CD4

Thanks everyone who's been so supportive so far. I'm actually slightly appalled by how obsessed I'm being already, and it's my first cycle of TTC. I hope I calm down for everyone's sake

Good Luck all! x

smallblackflowers · 16/01/2010 13:19

good luck Jenni!

jennimoo · 16/01/2010 13:15

Looks like I'm on my first 2ww as opk, CM and temperature are all suggesting I ovulated on Thursday! My cycle is about 5 days shorter than last month by the looks of things! I am going to try to wait until af is due on 29th but don't know if I'll be able to wait that long!
Jenni x

nymphadora · 16/01/2010 08:05

Thanks people, won't have any wine this but might need it tonight, am havingba house full of teachers kids today whilst they all work!

Did some googling last night and viscocity can be made thicker by infection so that would be something more simple to fix?

Lorelai · 16/01/2010 07:29

Morning all, stats updated for today. I've also moved a couple of people up the bus a bit coz of cycle days.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 16/01/2010 06:58

nymph sorry it's a bit crap atm. Agree with the manic googling though. At least you'll feel you're doing something rather than just waiting for things to happen. Assuming that makes you feel better.

BUnder, don't want to give you false hope but that could have been an implantation bleed if it was light and only lasted a day or 2 days. Did you need to use tampons/pads as much as normal? Of course, you probably already know this. Fingers crossed for you.

Am thinking about trying to lose a couple of pounds over the next couple of weeks cos if I have managed to conceive this month, I actually have to eat constantly to stave off ms and so put a lot of weight on between 6 and 16 weeks. Anyone else done this before? Am assuming it's safe as long as I don't do the silly starvation thing.

And what has everybody "given up" on the 2ww? I have had the odd glass of wine but have limited my coffee intake to one or two a week.

bunnygirl80 · 16/01/2010 05:09

Hello all

Just parking myself at the back of the bus-have brought wine and chocolates!

nymph sorry to hear you're finding things hard at the moment. Like the others said sperm problems are often improved by changes in lifestyle and diet, although I think it can take up to 3 months to really work. I hope you and your DH get some answers soon. In the meantime, feel free to help yourself to some of my virtual wine....I decided I'd bring a vat rather than a bottle so there's plenty to go round.

Might not have been AF earlier. It seems to have stopped. Maybe.

According to the nurse, it could have been a "nicked blood vessel" up near my cervix. Or possibly a pregnancy that failed to implant .

Guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. Nothing new there then.

nymph if it helps I think most men would agree that providing a sperm sample is something they can accommodate quickly and easily as they have had so much practice so hopefully he can fit it in before SWI time.

We are currently trying to work on the three days between rule but its difficult working out when i may ov...

nymphadora · 15/01/2010 17:57

Haven't got any ov sticks, gave up on them, although if I wasnt ovulating they actually were right

Throws box of pg tests instead!

digitalgirl · 15/01/2010 17:41

Ooh maybe not. More ewcm just now. Might have to grab dh before he leaves tonight. Then won't see him again till Sunday night.

Wasn't planning on poas till at least the Sunday two weeks from now. Although should anymore of the icky stuff turn up between now and then I'll give it two & half weeks from new ick.

hang in there nymph you'll get your bfp and look back at all this, in between puking your guts out of ms, wondering what all the fuss was about.

nymphadora · 15/01/2010 17:05

at duff wank, my hope too!
and at 'Hopefully conception' how long have you got until POAS?

digitalgirl · 15/01/2010 16:58

nymph Hope you and dh ok. Could just have been a duff wank and if he re does the test might find that actually all is ok.

no swi last night either as ds woke up at the wrong moment and sort of...killed it. Felt a bit desperate for a while thinking we've missed the boat. But also think if it's going to happen then snagging on the two mornings of ewcm should be sufficient. And anyway, might not even have ovulated. Have felt a bit odd since af left and now have tingly boobs which is obviously not a pg symptom but some sort of hormonal symptom. In fact got a bit stressy last night about life in general so not sure what's going on beneath the surface. Hopefully conception.

nymphadora · 15/01/2010 16:55

LOL its fine , I think I need that!

ATM I havent told anyone we are ttc and the only place I have to share things is here. I do have one friend that I could talk to but we arent going to mangage to get together sans kids for a while so am dependant on you lot!
