OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

I just stick with the continuos shagging. Since neither dh or I am working properly I have no idea whether it works but the more you have the more you want.

And the more grumpy you get when you dont get any

smallblackflowers · 19/01/2010 17:37

Sorry to those who have to deal with AF's arrival - think I may also be joining that depressing club as have just had a little spotting, you never know it could be an implantation bleed, but am pretty sure that its AF announcing her imminent arrival.

BUnderTheBonnet · 19/01/2010 17:36

Darn it! First time I tried that.

shag like rabbits

BUnderTheBonnet · 19/01/2010 17:35

I've sent off for some ovulation stick things, because my ucl now has no u element at all, seemingly. It should be called a random cycle length.

Do the sticks tell you when you're about to shag like rabbits ovulate, or do they only tell you that you have already ovulated? My wide potential range of cycle lengths mean my poor dh would be at it for about a fortnight if I can't narrow it down!

BUnderTheBonnet · 19/01/2010 17:32

2 colleagues announced today that they're 13 weeks pregnant.

I had to disappear intop the loos for a wail.

know exactly how you feel, my sister has two that she easily conceived & my bro's girlf just had a baby! I'm the elder sister & I'm the last to pop sprogs (taken 2 years so far. I'm on cycle 6 of clomid!).

We're all entitled to that sob!

x

addictedtomn · 19/01/2010 15:04

armi i'm so sorry. i also have a sister that can get pregnant with out even trying and it is quite depressing to see her with her dd.

Eadwacer · 19/01/2010 13:45

armi gah. Am so sorry - especially as having to visit your sister. Reassuring/ nerve-steeling pat on the shoulder coming your way.

Armi · 19/01/2010 13:05

Passes tissues to sparechange Me too. AF has appeared, as predicted. I have allowed myself the now traditional five minute sob in the shower and am now trying to gather myself together to face the weekend, when I'm going to visit my newly pregnant-without-even-trying sister.

It's enough to make me take up smoking again, I tell you.

sparechange · 19/01/2010 11:56

Hello ladies,

May I jump on board?
All this bus hopping is proving to be good exercise...

I really, really thought this was going to be my lucky month and have been symptom spotting like mad, but she got me 3 days early. Feeling a bit down in the dumps, to be totally honest

Thanks all for your kind congratulations. I had a mc a few months ago so am very nervous this time round. Wishing you all lots of BFPs.

SilverBoots · 19/01/2010 10:14

hello!

WOW, I can't keep up, this bus is so full!

No symptoms here, but only 4dpo!

Well done Bessie on finding the holy grail your BFP!!!!
One down, 45 ( !! )to go!

I shall now resume looking out of the window at the vast landscape that is the land of limbo, aka the 2ww...

Boots x

UmBongo · 19/01/2010 10:09

Morning all, I'm pleased my name makes people sing! (even if it is ridiculous tunes!) Can't remember the tune meself - its just something I say sometimes when I am trying not to swear!

No prob QueenFee I'm sure there is a strawberry left in here somewhere.

addictedtomn pleased you are still laughing about the ridiculous sympton spotting!

ILoveGregoryHouse · 19/01/2010 10:04

Ah, symptom spotting...

Having very vivid and frankly weird but lucid dreams. Very thirsty. Loo trips about 8 times a day. Boobs a bit sore. Am a bloaty fat pig too. But that's nothing to do with my new pash for spring rolls! Oh, roll on Sunday. Am v pleased with myself today though as I has a pg test in my hand and put it back on the shelf instead of taking it to the till. Yay!

Congratulations Bessie, hope you'll have some company soon.

nickymorris · 19/01/2010 10:01

Pah. The 'not pregnant' feeling was correct, rather than reverse logic. AF came early/this morning.

But the good news is that my magic spreadsheet tells me that next cycle will still give me an October 2010 baby so I can stay on this nice bus, I just move to the very back!

can add to the list of symptoms that obviously mean i'm pregnant??

well i'm exausted this morning, and it doesnt have anything to do with not gettign to bed till gone 1am, i going to the toilet all the time during the night, 3 times i woke up desprate for the toilet last night! (that one i really cant explain) and my boobs arent that sore, which means i'm pregnant because they get so sore every month its very painfull, so the change in them obviously means i'm pregnant...right???

lol

Armi · 19/01/2010 06:59

Pops head over top of newspaper Congratulations, Bessie - that's fab news!

I can feel AF stirring within me, like an awakening beast...and the bloody witch is early!!!

nancydrewrocks · 19/01/2010 03:54

underthebonnet - sorry.

bessie congrats - heres to a happy healthy regnancy.

Ilove I ovulate really late so unlikely I would get a +ve even on the day AF late.

Plus I'm overseas at the moment and a HPT costs about 25quid. I am back in UK next week so will save my pennies!

BUnderTheBonnet · 18/01/2010 22:29

I've given upo this month. This must be AF - it's gone on too long for anything else.

Shuffling off to the back of the bus, near the Roses.

Stuffedmk - we're practically cycle buddies!

bessie congrats and sticky vibes!

Makes it seem so real (I think I am still a little in denial about the whole TTC thing though)

Had a mad moment last night when I imagined I had twins thanks to whoever it was who told me I was 9 times more likely to conceive twins whilst BF In a normal MN obsessive manner I googled it and now wished I hadn't! How on earth would I get by with a 6 year old 4 year old 1 year old and Newborn twins.

Still the thought of those lovely little babies awwww

You see I couldn't say that to anyone else they really would think I was mad! (Not that you don't)

umbongo can I have a caramel cup and a strawberry one please (still eating for 2 [buscuit] [buscuit])

bunnygirl80 · 18/01/2010 21:12

Congrats on the BFP Bessie. Hopefully you're the first of many on this bus - looking at the size of the bus surely statistically there should be loads.

UmBongo I have to admit that every time I see you name the song pops into my head too! Thanks for the roses

LadyBee · 18/01/2010 19:55

Ooh a graduate! ding ding!! Congratulations on the BFP Bessie, lots of positive thoughts coming your way from me -- I hope we get lots more of these as the bus winds its way through.

addictedtomn · 18/01/2010 18:28

lol, syuffedmk, i wish my dh would give me permission to obsess, he just says i need to obsess less. (bearing in mind i dont temp, do ov tests or check for ewcm i just count days and go by guess work!) i'm not sure how to obsess less!

nickymorris your post just actually made me laugh out loud! do you want to test with me on friday? (obviously not with me with me, but thats when i'm testing and i am going to hold my resolve untill then!

umbongo your name actually reminds me of that awfull sketch they did on xtra factor this year with the girl form umbongo. i'm now picturing you as that girl who was walking around looking for an umbongo.
