OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

addictedtomn sorry to hear about AF

Have had some very light and occasional spotting today, and temps back up over cover line, so goodness only knows what's going on...have been madly swinging from hope to kicking myself in the backside and accepting the inevitable...am fully expecting to be on the November bus (for the next 5 mins anyway).

nymphadora · 21/01/2010 20:30

Fairygodmother- Thats something I do know I work for Social Care - we are always re structuring

addictedtomn · 21/01/2010 20:25

evening all af caught up with me today i think that means i should be on the november bus now, but if you dont mind is it ok if i stay a little longer?

Fairygodmother1 · 21/01/2010 20:13

All I know is restructuring!

nymphadora · 21/01/2010 19:59

Much better thanks. Sorry to hear about your job.Whats happening there?

Fairygodmother1 · 21/01/2010 19:44

Hi Nymph - glad I went back to work after flu today as found out my job aint safe either...what is happening to the education system.
How's you today?

fingers crossed mmmcoffee

jennimoo · 21/01/2010 16:59

I'm only 7 dpo now, and not going to test til 29th when AF is due (that's what I say now anyway!)
I haven't had any symptoms except really itchy nipples last night!!! Anyone had that? Or am I just imagining made up pg symptoms now? ;)

nymphadora · 21/01/2010 14:36

mmmcoffee baby brain?

Mmmcoffee · 21/01/2010 14:16

Boots - this is going to sound SO retarded. I went to the doc on Monday because I kept feeling dizzy and nauseous. She diagnosed Labyrinthitis and gave me anti-nausea pills (which I only took for 1 day). It never even occured to me to think of anything else.

I can't test today, it's DD's birthday and EVERYONE is coming round and I can't get to the shops!

Gonna be biting my fingernails til tomorrow now.

SilverBoots · 21/01/2010 13:57

Mmmcoffee ... TEST! TEST!

ILoveGH ... You also!

OK, Where's Nancydrew? QueenFee?

And all others with that slightly sicky/big boobage feeling, off you go!

(pleased today is a better day for you, nymph)

nymphadora · 21/01/2010 13:39

Things looking a bit better today ,so thanks everyone for asking and caring!

away all weekend as we are combining dhs annual trip to hospital with a weekend in Bath so should get some relaxation time & imay remember what he looks like as I have only seen him for about an hour all together in the last week!

Also need to SWI so need to lose some stress at least

Mmmcoffee · 21/01/2010 12:59

OMG, my boobs are so sore today. I usually only get that one or 2 days before AF, so either I'm unusually early or something else is going on... not going to test. not going to test. Someone stop me testing, PLEASE. I hate staring at that bloody window waiting for a line that's not going to appear.

Didn't help that I was cutting stuff up yesterday and leaned over too far, I caught my right boob between the handles of the scissors - ouch.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 21/01/2010 10:53

Ha ha, can't possibly wait that long, silverboots! Trying to hold out to Saturday or Sunday.

I've seen nancy on aibu a couple of times so she's not deserted.

Welcome Floaty, hope there'll be more budging room soon with more testers (where are they all - Bessie must be lonely!).

More symptom spotting. Saw an old lady begging in the car park of the shopping centre as I was driving out (don't get me started on begging in Bahrain, breaks my heart). I burst into tears, drove all the way back round the roundabout and back into the car park and stopped the car on the way back out to give her some money. Held up a few other cars in the process. Then I cried again. Now I would have normally done that but would not have cried. DS1 bumped his head last night and I cried (wtf?) What else? Oh yes, sore boobs, still having restless nights/lucid dreams. Spotting seems to be stopping. Hey, maybe I'll test tomorrow.

SilverBoots · 21/01/2010 10:15

Morning!

Welcome Totally - I'm also ttc#4!

Hope things work out OK, Nymph.

I don't feel remotely pg, but will be doing a proper test on the 28th (CD30,13dpo) if AF no show (can you wait that long ILoveGH??). Until then I will do a few cheap ebay tests, solely for 'quality control' purposes!

Please can we have some BFPs from those of you at the front of the bus? Thank you.

Boots x

VodkaGirl77 · 21/01/2010 10:06

Morning All

Am not a teacher but work in Audit and Inspection at a University - working with teacher training students - we get a visit from Ofsted once every three years and are expecting ours either at the end of this academic year or the beginning of next. Really hoping I get pg before they arrive as it will be manic!

CD25 today - am starting to get quite nervous/excited about Sunday, as is dp - this will be his first baby if I get pregnant.

Symptom spotting - burst into tears at work yesterday (yep mortifying) due to childcare issues with my 2 dds. Very tired, oooh and sore boobs - all could be caused by pmt/stress of course!

bunnygirl80 · 21/01/2010 08:25

Welcome totallyfloaty. We are getting squeezed up tight on this bus.

addictedtomn · 21/01/2010 08:21

morning all, has anyone seen nancydrew recently? i'm starting to get slightly worried she may be in a depressed hole, or on a blissfully happy high (but then she wold have come back?)

Lorelai · 21/01/2010 00:18

Well, seeing as I can't sleep for some reason, and it is now past midnight, I might as well update the stats for Thursday. Have added totallyfloaty too - welcome!

We seem to have lots of people coming up to testing time - fingers crossed for some more BFPs!

Hi totallyfloaty We will all wriggle up a bit to let you in this busy bus!

Very interested in the BF/LP thing. Think I need to do some research as I had never heard of this before.

Sitting on my hands to stop me testing tomorrow. One part of me really wants to and the other thinks whats the point i'm highly unlikely to be pregnant anyway

nymph if it's any consolation we have just had ESTYN (welsh OFSTEAD) into DCs school and the report that followed was as didn't sound anything like the school that I know. Plus they wouldn't take anything into account that had been implemented in the last 6 months which was further for me. Hope things work out ok for you.

Loujalou · 20/01/2010 22:05

My lp was 14 days before DS. Then when I first TTC it was 11 days but seems to have gone up to 13 days. Did BF for over a year so not sure if its just taken a while to get back to normal. But then am on cycle 10 (not on list as am trying to avoid it all).... Trying, kinda not managing.

Lorelai · 20/01/2010 21:55

Thanks smallblackflowers. I am avoiding temp charting at the moment as this is just our first cycle and I don't want to get too obsessive just yet. Can lp change over the years? I didn't have any problems conceiving DD, so can't have had this short a lp then; could it have changed since then? Or maybe it wasn't EWCM I had tonight and I am worrying over nothing!

Totallyfloaty35 · 20/01/2010 21:54

Hi may i join? Im ttc number 4 cycle1, ucl 28, cd 10

smallblackflowers · 20/01/2010 21:48

lorelai if your lp is less than 10 days there isn't enough time for the fertilised egg to implant before you start losing your uterine lining, so even if egg and sperm happily meet up they'll be on their way out before they have a chance to get settled!

If you are suspicious that this could be happening it is worth temp charting in order to pin down your exact ov day. The lp generally stays the same length every month, and if your cycle length varies it is usually the length of time before ovulation that is changing. Hope I am making sense.

Loujalou · 20/01/2010 21:41

Nymph here's a big bottle of wine. Fingers crossed it all gets sorted.
