OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

Digitalgirl! xxx

digitalgirl · 26/01/2010 13:35

Congrats jennimoo that's great news, especially after your bfns.

On a purely selfish note, this has given me hope after my bfn this morning (serves me right for breaking my vow). Yes, I know, I caved. And had till this very moment resigned myself to moving onto the next cycle. But now...jennimoo has given me hope.

QueenFee · 26/01/2010 13:28

ladyb i'm just shruggingmy shoulders and moving on as DS2 is only 6 months and AF didn't come back till I weaned DD abd DS1 at 14/16 months so highly unlikely I am ovulating.
Congrats jennioo fingers crossed!

sorry to hear that TeaFan.

Good luck jennimoo - fx for your digital test!

TeaFan · 26/01/2010 10:56

Ooh, jennimoo that is good news...best of luck for your super duper digital one but they do say a line is a line is a line

I don't think we've had any luck this month, spotted pink gunk this morning and have cramps which means AF is on her way [sigh]

Am trying to console myself that this is my fourth regular cycle in a row and with the thought of a big glass of wine later... [bbiscuit]

Bessie123 · 26/01/2010 10:09

Jennimoo congratulations. Hope you'll be joining me VERY soon.

Legallyblonde congrats also. Do you have symptoms yet? I still have none, except tiredness.

Pidgin · 26/01/2010 07:19

Jennimoo just sticking my head around the door to say oh my goodness!! Fingers crossed for you!!

jennimoo · 26/01/2010 06:22

I got a very faint line on my test strip today.... Trying not to get too excited, and will do a digital one later or tomorrow to be sure. Have a really long day today so hopefully will take my mind off it!

LadyBee · 25/01/2010 21:42

QueenFee, that's too bad, it must be a bit tricky to know what's what when your ttc while BFing. Will you just keep on testing every few days until AF arrives??

LunaticFringe - not fresh-faced nor twenty-something here either , really sorry to hear about mc, the emotions around them do make all this more stressful I think. Noone is going to blame you for any loopiness displayed here - and best to spill it on MN than in RL, non?

I've gone for MrsPositivity to the pit of despair in about two days . And weirdly, I've got more EWCM today - what's with that? Should I be jumping DH today as well? It seems very late

btw Decafgirl are there really meeting where managers speculate about who might leave or get pregnant? I'm a bit about that. I wonder if it happens everywhere?

QueenFee · 25/01/2010 21:15

Hi all
I'm defecting to the november bus as I had another BFN at the weekend. No AF yet either so still in no mans land.
If only DC3 would stop feeding all the time...
Hopefully you will all graduate with lovely sticky BFP's

Oh my God, our men folk literally see us as broody chooks....!!

BUnderTheBonnet · 25/01/2010 20:34

LOL decaf! People at my place keep wanting to talk about next year too, and what "my role" will be. I want to say "but I'll be on maternity leave" then realise I'm in public and awake.

Got a weird pain in my stomach, a bit like stitch. My husband asked if that could mean I'm "laying an egg!"

decafgirl · 25/01/2010 19:21

Evening ladies, pleased to see we have some interesting new smileys to use gotta love mumsnet haven't you?!

I have so far resisted the urge to POAS - Friday will be the 34th CD which is also usually CD1 if you see what I mean so have resolved to test on Fri morning before work if my temperature stays high (please God, please God, please God...)

Had a senior leadership meeting tonight about where various staff will be next year, any potential leavers, pregnancies etc etc...I swear I nearly bit my tongue in half trying not to jump up and scream ME! ME YOU FOOLS IT SHOULD BE MEEEEEE!!!!

Thankfully, I just shoved another custard cream in my decaf tea and kept quiet, y'know, like a person who has some of their sanity in tact...

Congrats LB, fab news xxxx

TeaFan · 25/01/2010 18:51

{Waves to UmBongo}

Lol Boots that told your DH!

Bessie you're not going anywhere, you're our only graduate so have to stay put!

Lunatic sorry to hear about your MCs. I am not fresh faced OR twentysomething so you're in good company.

This 2ww is going on forever, don't know whether the beginning is worse knowing there are a whole 2 weeks to go or the end when time slows down and I go absolutely slightly insane!

{Wanders off singing... Way down deep in the middle of the Congo, a hippo took an apricot, a guava and a mango...}

digitalgirl · 25/01/2010 18:39

ck Welcome to the madhouse. You sound very organised! Sometimes your temp dips just before ovulation. Any ewcm? Try eating grapefruit.

legallyblond · 25/01/2010 18:10

Bessie - SNAP! I never really joined this bus (the dates somehow meant I did 2 cycles on the Sept bus) but my EDD is 29 Sept too! 2 days late and we're Oct though..!

C'mon ladies, lots more BFPs please!

craftykamo · 25/01/2010 18:09

Hi all, can I jump on the bus?

Stopped the pill earlier this month, after holding off TTC until after we'd been skiing - but now, after reading up on conception and how unlikely it all appears to be, I wish I'd tempted fate by stopping a few months ago!

Stats:

TTC#1 Cycle 1 UCL ?? CD12

Am using Fertility Friend, mainly just to practice taking my BBT and spotting CM signs for January - as I suspect very little will happen this month (not seeing any real signs yet, so think it may take a while for ovulation to happen).

Re: BBT - Does anyone know what it means if your temps start to fall? Been around 36.5 for the past week, but then yesterday and today it's fallen - down to 36.2 this morning. Seen lots about temperature rises, but nothing about temperature falls... Thanks!

BUnderTheBonnet · 25/01/2010 17:40

Hi,

Had to post something to try out the new smilies for Burns Night

Anyone partaking in haggis or is even semi-possible pg a good excuse not to?

Think I'll stick to cookies and hot chocolate myself, before jumping on DH later...

"My luv is like a purposeful bonk" and all that.

Lunatic have slotted you in amongst those also on cd18. Sorry to hear you've had a bad history of pregnancy. TTC# refers to the child not the number of pregnancies. But cycle # usually reverts to 1 if you've had a miscarriage. I'm on cycle 2 after a mc in Nov although we've been ttc since August.

I am also trying really hard not to poas. It's so easy to chastise others for weakening in the last week of the 2ww but when you're in it yourself... Don't think I'll be able to hold out till Sunday. Might be Saturday. As I think I'll be 2 days overdue then.

Hi, i've been quiet for ages as I had flu for 3 weeks!!!!!! All that lying down and eating comfort food has ironically made me look about 4 months pregnant but due to crappy illness I only managed to DTD one day this cycle and so it's very likely i'll be jumping onto the November bus.

Just wanted to say please don't go anywhere Bessie seeing your name on the graduate list made me and i'm sure others very happy and hopefull that this packed bus will be a lucky one!

Welcome to LunatF I've shifted your details further up the list and just to confirm TTC# is the child your trying to conceive... i.e. i'm trying for baby no.2.

8 more days to go until i'll be POAS... good luck to all of you nearing the end of your usual cycle xxx
