OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

Umbongo I hope this story of two people I know happens for you too!

UmBongo · 31/01/2010 09:53

Thank you everyone for your support, I will have a nag at dh! I feel better today after a good rant and a good sleep. All I need now is a good shag and everything will almost be back to normal or what counts for normal round here! Fairygodmother Thank you particularly for your support, you make me even more aware that I am very lucky to have ds. Even if I do need to get off mn and go and change a stinky nappy!

hi all , af arrived yesterday so its time for me to get off the bus ,im not boarding anymore for a while now as my wedding is in may and i have lots to organise so that will keep my mind off babies for a couple of months , were not going to try and prevent a pregnancy but i have so much going on i dont think we will have the energy to do much bding ,,,,, good luck to all of you and i hope you all get yr bfps over the next couple of months xx

Mmmcoffee · 30/01/2010 21:39

Oh crap. Tests arrived in the post today, too late as it turns out AF arrived in the night.

Hey ho. Off to the November bus.

Keep trying everyone! Fingers crossed for lots more BFPs for you all.

BUnderTheBonnet · 30/01/2010 20:23

No sign of ovulation here. Still time though, if I'm in for a long cycle to make up for last month's incredibly short one.

Sorry to all the AFs.

Think the full moon mught be good luck for those at the top of the list?

Fairygodmother1 · 30/01/2010 20:00

Umbongo I'm actually on cycle 26 but put 6 on stats as I'm counting it from when i satrted clomid as I actually started ovulating then. Totally feel for you hon - but I made dh get tested after 12 cycles. Turns out he's fine & I have PCOS.

You could try guilt trip.

Not being a man - I don't know what their issue with it is. I know two people who's DH wouldn't get tested but when they'd finally worn their DH down (both convinced it wasn't their 'problem') both women fell pg (which feels totally unfair to me)!!!

Keep your chin up.

BUnderTheBonnet · 30/01/2010 19:57

Nag away umbongo!

Umbongo just start nagging, 20 cycles on I would be totally nagging. In fact we made DS1 after 18 months of TTC and it was just prior to DH going to have an intimate relationship with a petri dish ..!

Anyway, I am off to November bus as the evil witch has got me! Now, where is that bottle of wine??

digitalgirl · 30/01/2010 19:30

umbongo you have every right to moan. 20 cycles would take it's toll on the most patient of people. And there I was feeling sorry for myself because one of my friends whose dd is younger than my ds is already 11 weeks pregnant with dc2. Not quite sure how I'll feel if we're still trying by the time she gives birth. Which is very likely.

This 2ww (3ww) is now boring me because I really really don't think my chances are any good now. I want to start the next cycle please.

UmBongo · 30/01/2010 18:32

I am also feeling crap right at the point where we should be making like bunnies! So I guess that is another reason for my mum to sign me over to the nearest loonybin.

Problem is, I think she may be right.

[disapears back into whisky bottle]

UmBongo · 30/01/2010 17:40

I'm really sorry to do this but i have to have a moan, please feel free not to read this post.

One of my mates had her dd2 yesterday. I have been feeling crap for 3 days. My mum asked me this morning if I was all right, so I had a major blub at her. She then said that I had to get dh to do his test. (I know that). That I had to move forward. (I know that). That I had to be thankful for ds. (I know that and am. Very.) That some people don't have any dc. (I know that too) That I had to "Feel the fear and do it anyway" and talk to dh about doing his test. (I know that my mum reads self help books!) I was kind of happy (ish) living in cloud cuckoo land thinking that dh would do his test, but I am going to have to nag him. Don't like nagging.

OK so to sum up, I am a coward, who is heading the right way towards depression. And that that is not helping me care for my ds. Oh bollocks to it, anyone got any whisky? (Oh and another box of tissues)

lucielooo · 30/01/2010 17:26

Just signing off the October bus as AF arrived for me today. Armed with vitamins and have forewarned DH of plan to 'step up the action' for this month, so fingers crossed February is going to me a lucky one!

Fingers crossed for all those still in with a shout for an October baby

LadyBee · 30/01/2010 14:22

I tested this morning and had a BFN at about 10-11 dpo. AF still not due for a couple of days so will just wait for it to come and if (by some miracle) it doesn't by Wednesday, test again. I'm going out tonight though - have decided not to stress about it.

It would be lovely to see a few more graduates though - mmmcoffee did those tests arrive?

digitalgirl · 30/01/2010 14:18

vodkagirl sorry to hear that

Bfn for me just now. So definitely didn't ovulate as early on in my cycle as I initially thought. I'm still a little unsure whether I definitely ov'ed last weekend too. Oh well, suppose I'm going to have to wait to find out next weekend if I get my period.

Got a full body massage booked in 45 mins so that should take my mind off it.

lucielooo · 30/01/2010 12:36

vodkagirl so sorry to hear that

Must feel so rubbish - don't blame you for feeling down in the dumps. TTC really does put you through the mill doesnit it.
Fingers extra crossed for you for next month instead.

lucybrad · 30/01/2010 10:49

re -read TCOYF this morning and am now totally convinced that this month I have not ovulated. This month is so different from the others as I usually get sore boobs after ovulation (or what I assume to be ovulation) but this time there has been nothing, and i had a few patches of ewcm, and now normally i would be dry but i am damp. I have been under stress this month as i have started a new job and the kids have been ill for weeks.

i think my day 21 test results due next week will probably confirm this. we will just have to wait and see. Also expecting imminent arrival of baby nephew, so thats exciting.

manchestermummy · 30/01/2010 09:32

VodkaGirl for you...

I've done a few tests which was a bit stupid as it's way too early - all BFN but too too early in any case!

VodkaGirl77 · 30/01/2010 08:47

Hi

Please can you remove me from the graduates list - I started bleeding on CD32 after 2 faint positives, so think it must have been a chemical. Have been feeling down over last couple of days, so stayed away, but think I'm feeling ready to join the November bus now.

Lots and lots of good luck to everyone still waiting for their BFPs.

LadyBee · 29/01/2010 22:41

Ah Decafgirl and yumyum73 I?m really sorry AF got you, especially with all those symptoms.

Nymphadora why do you think you?re not ovulating?

mmmcoffee fingers crossed for testing tomorrow, I hope those tests arrive!

Digitalgirl I?ve got exactly the same dull ache, pretty sure it?s a complete washout for me, it?s happening a bit earlier than normal too to add to the insult.

I still went and bought a couple of tests though, a friend has asked me out for a drink and there?s still a bit of me that thinks ?but should I?? Gonna test tomorrow, if it?s negative I?ll have a drink. That would be about 10-11 dpo I think. Not beyond the realms of possibility to get a result. Still quite early but it?s the best compromise I can think of. Plus I really feel like a drink.

liahgen66 · 29/01/2010 21:13

So am I nymph Hopefully will bump into you on an antenatal thread in the near future.
