OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

Woo hoo Frenchlimeblossom can't wait to see you on the graduates list after your weekend test

Fertility friend has moved my ovulation day if it is right I might as well get on the november bus now.
DH was ill at supposed critical time so if FF is right the last SWI before ov was 5 days before although if my egg was super long lived I could be ok as we did it the day after lol.
If it happens this cycle I will be
Gonna try ov sticks again next month. Nothing happened this time but evidently I just ran out way before anything could show anyway....curse these irregular cycles. Definately only going to be using cheapies though, can't afford anything else, so we will have to see.

No spotting today. Which is good as it means my womb is holding out for at least 10/11dpo, so hormones getting back to normal. Downside to 'normal' for me is that cycles are usually 30-35 days long, sometimes longer.

Feeling bit more pre-af today. Pressure in lower back building up. Also, seem to have caught a cold so have tiredness, shoulder achiness, the beginnings of a sore throat and general rubbishness to add to the mix.

BUnderTheBonnet · 04/02/2010 21:12

Oh, and ! (Had to try that)

BUnderTheBonnet · 04/02/2010 21:11

I caved and bought a thermometer. Fertilityfriend is dangerous! I'm probably too late for it to be useful this month, although I have had 2 temp rises, coinciding with positive OPKs (nothing "normal" to compare it too though). I got positive OPKs for 3 days - is this normal???

Not much EWCM at all, but it might have been camouflaged amongst all the .... ...other stuff.

BUnderTheBonnet · 04/02/2010 21:08

Thursday:

flb I left you so you can move yourself (I'm imagining some kind of ritual..) when you test at the weekend.

Yay a BFP! Congrats FLB Fingers crossed it's a sticky one for you.

Sorry about AF lunaticfringe

I'm halfway through the 2ww - no symptoms spotted as yet but not that hopeful this month as we were a bit halfhearted on the SWI.

pointsmakeprizes · 04/02/2010 20:05

Great news FLB, you finally got your BFP! hope everything goes well for you. Good luck to those testing tomorrow. I only have 2 CBDs in the house this month - no random internet cheapie testing for me this month - only going to use the CBDs when AF is late. Think I may have actually ovulated yesterday as temps are up today - so finally on the 2ww.

Sounds about right to me QandA, trust me - you don't want to become a pro to this bus riding business! One or two buses then off to the ante-natel threads!

QandA · 04/02/2010 16:03

Congratulations FrenchlimeBlossom Hope the weekend testing gives you some reassurance.

I just wanted to check the acronyms UCL, which I thought was usual cycle length and CD which is cycle day and SWI is sex with intent? Am really not enough of a pro to be on this bus, good job I am at the back

FrenchLimeBlossom · 04/02/2010 14:26

Thanks everyone, it feels SO odd being the lucky one for a change, I cannot stop grinning at work (colleagues must think I am drunk) and am desperately hoping it will stick whilst secretly already mentally drafting a birth plan and redecorating the 'nursery' - hello my name is FrenchLimeBlossom and I am an obsessive.

I will keep everything crossed for stickiness for me and BFPs for you all and will let you know at the weekend whatever happens!

beckylou85 · 04/02/2010 13:29

Yey! french I'm so happy for you!
I hope you get a BFP this weekend, don't forget to let us know asap . It's great seeing those BFPs, come on ladies we need some more. Hopefully it's a fantastic month for us all.
Good luck to all ttc xxx

LadyBee · 04/02/2010 13:08

Just lurking stopping in to say congrats to FrenchLimeBlossom, it's wonderful news and I have everything crossed that it all goes smoothly for you.

Nymphadora · 04/02/2010 10:45

BUnderthebonnet Thanks I thought someone changed me, as long as I move on today

sparechange · 04/02/2010 10:01

Nothing to report from Sparechange towers
Only got EWCM for 3 days this month, but DH gave it his best, so here's to an optimistic 2WW...

Horror of horrors - I went to the pound shop on the way home last night. They've only gone and STOPPED selling pg test!
I've got 2 left at home, but I don't know what I'm going to do without my usual BFN fix for 5 days a month.
I'm not forking out £5 a go for the boots ones, so I might just actually have to develop some sort of patient gene and wait until I'm due. Slightly Alien concept to me...

Either that, or it a sign. The powers that be (or the buyers at Poundland) are convinved I'll have no further need for 3 packs of dip sticks...

asianbabe · 04/02/2010 09:18

Congrats flb well done you!!!!!!!!

Loujalou · 04/02/2010 09:18

Congrats FLB and welcome newbies.

Possible symptom alert. I seem to have lost my brain cells. On Tuesday I couldn't remember how to indicate on my car and yesterday when I went out for dinner I could count the people to share it by (there are 4 of us) I am an accountant. The last time I was this doolally and not sleep deprived was when I was pregnant. Surely it must be a sign that or early dementia....

digitalgirl · 04/02/2010 09:06

Very sensible flb - fingers crossed this one sticks and your p turns into a bfp.

You've given this bus a kick up the undercarriage! C'mon ladies let's get some more (and let one of them be mine!)

FrenchLimeBlossom · 04/02/2010 09:01

Thanks digitalgirl - fingers crossed anyway. DH and I have decided that I will test again at the weekend (with my remaining CBD test) to be on the safe side and then we will get it fixed in our heads - it is still a bit hazy to be honest and I am all too aware that sometimes a BFP does not end up where we want it to..... BUT..... [hysterics][stunned]

Anyway, hopefully there will be plenty more BFPs coming along in the next few days!

fingers crossed for all!

digitalgirl · 04/02/2010 08:13

Yay FrenchLimeBlossom congratulations!!

FrenchLimeBlossom · 04/02/2010 07:13

Hello all! I did a test this morning and......

BFP (except it was neither B nor F) - it is a faint vertical with a strong horizontal but NEVER had a BFP before so I am hoping. Part of me is trying not to get too excited (what if it goes away again like last month) and DH was cautiously pleased but am so

and I just could not wait to tell you all, even though currently walking the dogs in the snow!

Spacefrog · 03/02/2010 22:22

LadyBee good luck on the November bus. I love this bus too, it's great company especially during the 2ww.

Nothing new here, not sure what happened to my ovulation, my BBT chart is all over the place. Either I've been rubbish at taking my temp (preferred option) or there's something very odd going on this month. Anyway, I've decided to test the 9th. Feeling very un-pregnant except hungry all the time but that's probably boredom.

UmBongo · 03/02/2010 22:04

Sorry for the afs folks, I am pleased that this rambling group of loonies helps someone other than me LadyBee As the old BT advert said, "Its good to talk!" Welcome to the asylum bus QandA I hope you have a much better day tomorrow nymph whatever cd it is!

Well, my news is that I have recovered enough from last weeks lurgy to fit in some more swi last night! Hooray - that means I don't have to write off this month too (yet)

Fairygodmother1 · 03/02/2010 21:42

It's getting more & more roomy on here - starting to feel the cold & I'm middle of the bus!

Is anyone passing round the boiled sweets cos this feels like a very long cycle with only 3 grads?! We need more BFP! No excitement in over a week!

*qandA8 what would you like to know?

QandA · 03/02/2010 21:00

Thanks BUnderTheBonnet

QandA TTC#2 Cycle 1 UCL 27 CD 14

Is there a list of acronyms for conception? Have made my best guess. Feel a bit of a fraud calling it cycle 1, when I haven't really had a cycle of TTC as such.

Sorry to hear of those that have already tested and not got the result they had hoped for.
