Am I Pregnant? Faint lines, positives, negatives and early miscarriage

I am wondering if anyone can offer advice...my period was due last Thursday and in the evening I did a pregnancy test which was faintly positive. I repeated it the next day for a more convincing answer, but again there was a faint line. Over the weekend nausea really kicked in too. This will be my third pregnancy although my other children are much older (9 and 11). On Saturday night I did a clear blue digital test which was positive. This morning however, I did another test (no idea why, I just felt like it) and the result was negative. I went to my doctor who was very matter of fact and said that I had miscarried. She didn't do any tests and I was in and out in minutes. I have had no bleeding at all and the pregnancy symptoms continue. Have I miscarried or could the tests be wrong? If I have, how long will it be before I bleed and can try again, and, when will I stop feeling pregnant?
