September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

hi
Thanks needed that legallyblond, I feel a little on edge today I am not sure it is pms or just anticipation.Like you I know waiting till at least af is due is better. Even if we do get a BFP can't and won't tell any one till 12 weeks any way except people on here. No never drink any way and yes foilic acid too, this is a much wanted 5th baby. I didn't have symptoms of pregnancy the last time when I tested so I wonder if it will be the same?

legallyblond · 19/01/2010 13:53

Nanny - af definately feels like she's on the way for me - I have had all the usual pms symptoms that I get, but you never know...

I will also test on Friday (or maybe even Saturday...) if af hasn't arrived... but I suspect she will!

I am reluctant to test unless and until af is at least a couple of days late, as at least then the fertilized egg will have initially "stuck" (if its a chemical pg that is fertilized but never implants, quite frankly, I'd rather not know).

Good luck and DON'T TEST YET! The longer you wait the more likely a bfp is... and waiting a few more days doesn't actually make any difference if you are actively ttc, does it? I suspect that you're not drinking alcohol etc anyway and you're taking folic acid, so knowing or not knowing will make no difference, although it will assist your sanity!

(as requested, I am trying to stop you!)

Forgot to add I HATE BFN'S

Nanny01 · 19/01/2010 11:58

legallyblond

I'm testing Friday as Af will be due that's the earliest she might visit. Any signs af is coming for you as I don't feel any last month got stomch cramp a couple of days before ;crossing my fingers please help stop we embarresing myself by getting a test today any words of wisdom most gratefully received

legallyblond · 19/01/2010 11:46

Oh no, everyone's leaving! Sorry to see you all go - although with the cramps I've been having - not to mention the bfn I got yesterday, I doubt it will be long before I see you all on the October bus

Thanks for listening to the ranting - I am off to rant on the October bus. I hope not to see the rest of you turn up there too - in the nicest possible way of course

Can someone knock me off the stats next time they do them. Cheerio.

No signs of af yet so I'm hanging, hoping there will be some more positives for the rest of us left here. I have ordered my pregnacy test on line with shopping so I don't have to go to the local chemist lol.

legallyblond · 18/01/2010 11:39

Congrats to the graduates!!! But sorry to see more people leaving

Still no sign of af here (DETERMINED not to get my hopes up though - I am not testing until I am actually late) and wierdly swear I had some EWCM today... eh?

Congrats to the bfp's. Well AF due here nothing yet but know she is coming as BD was abit too early and I have been in a foul mood with cramping on and off. I knew this wasn't going to be our month with BD timing so why am I so disappointed!!

After taking 13 months to conceive DS I knew it wasn't going to happen quickly and promised myself not to get obsessed but here I am

UmBongo · 17/01/2010 20:16

Thank you all for your kind words, dh was very good with the hugs last night and I do feel a bit better today. (and I have a slightly tidier house having removed the heaps of too small clothes!)

Congrats to yellowmum, and I hope that your bfp sticks meanbean

ilovethebeach · 17/01/2010 19:54

Not sure if you'll remember me points but very sad to see you have to leave the bus today. I left on the 3rd but had been checking the thread and hoping for you. I am trying the every other night plan this month too so will see.

Sorry to everyone else who's had to jump off too but big conrats to the BFP's

pointsmakeprizes · 17/01/2010 18:59

hope you're ok meanbean and congrats on your bfp.

yellowflowers congrats too.

unfortunately AF started for me as well so this is my last stop on this bus. I am so tired and fed up of this. 7 months of trying (though only 5 actual cycles) and feel like I am just going backwards with cycles getting longer.

umbongo hope you are ok and sending you a hug, don't know what else to try next month think I will go with the try every other night plan.

Meanbeansmum · 17/01/2010 18:55

Sorry for the typos I'm a hormonal woman on the edge!

Meanbeansmum · 17/01/2010 18:53

Yellowmum, yay! Congrats!

Umbungo (love the name), I really hope the witch doesn't get you.xxxxx

Kawaiiko, order more, nobo0dy will think twice they will just be glad of the busioness. Think of it as doing your bit during the recession. ;)

Well I had a panic this morning, one minute I felt fine then out of nowhere a gush of bright red blood! Eeekkk. I had a mini breakdown then it stopped.....nothing since. But I am now convinced af will get me despite my lovely bfp. (sod off you evil witch). Argghhhhhh. DH keeps saying it's the other twin implanting but that will just make it harder when af comes so he's been toild to shut his trap and just let me wallow in my own self pity for a bit!

I hope noone minds me ranting.

Has anyone had any experience of this? LAst month I had a chem pg and that started with pinkspotting at af time then the witch gradually caught me. This is different to that. I did have gushing with ds2 but I don't want to convince myself that all will be ok because it's never a good sign is it.

Why do I do this to myself!

I hope everyone else is well, massive hugs to whoever af found, wish we could all lock her up.xxx

nymphadora · 17/01/2010 16:40

Just popping in to see everyone!

Congrats to the new +ves

umbongo sorry to see you're feeling down. Nothing I can say that helps but hoping your DH can give you hugs and undersatnding

yellowmum84 · 17/01/2010 08:38

yes so af was due today and nothing this morning.... so got up and did a cheapie test and bfp! well at least I think so, as was a very light line...

I'm sick with nerves at the moment as hoping this one sticks this time. not getting too excited yet

Sorry to hear you are sad umbongo, hope you have some good news soon (i'm sure you will). And good luck everyone else!

Umbongo, sorry you're feeling so down

No sage words of advice but I'm thinking of you.

UmBongo · 16/01/2010 22:17

Oh and congrats to Meanbeansmum.

UmBongo · 16/01/2010 22:16

I have just looked at the stats and realised that I am one (ish)day off af arriving. I am sure that she will. Again.

Sorry everyone but I am feeling a bit down. I have just sorted through ds's grown out of clothes and put them all bagged up in sizes into the loft. This is a bad time to do that immediately pre af, as I have just shed rather a lot of tears doing it. I don't know why I don't just bin the whole lot cos I am obviosly never going to get another baby to fill them. .

Never mind. they are there if the house gets buried under a land slide and future archeologists want to know how many clothes a small male 21st century boy needed in his first three years of life.

DH has just come in so I better go and explain why I am in tears. again.
