September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

Just realised that I'm in the week. By next weekend I should know for this month I get more nervous every month!

How long do you think i can hold off testing? anyone else on this week?

kawaiiko · 03/01/2010 09:21

Right, we obviously need more cake on this bus. And some rowsing shouting!

Babies for all in 2010!!

Having fallen off the front of this bus once already, got EWCM yesterday and so have dusted myself off and told dh to hold on for dear life over the next few days!

Anyone else find that their dh is - contrary to popular belief - not over the moon about the need for such an intense period of bd every month? Or are we freakishly abnormal?

2010jollster · 03/01/2010 08:53

Am having distinctly "AF is on her way" symptoms... grouchy and tired and fed up with the world. DS not sleeping very well either and being very clingy which is exhausting.

But am just happy that another day has passed to make this cycle a more normal length.

Good luck with anyone POAS. Have put a note on my phone to test on Weds.... like that's gonna happen... .

AF is here. DS has been up since 5:45. It's going to be one of Those Days. Am jumping off this bus and getting on the next one.

liahgenisuptheduff · 02/01/2010 23:44

Hi ladies,

Just popped on to wish you all

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Am so sorry to hear of all the bfn's and af's.

Also just wanted to say particularly

umbongo muser and anyone else that #i have shared previous threads with

Don't give up, remember how down I felt sometimes, I think I must have left the threads more than once. But trust me, one day it'll happen for you. Sorry if that sounds flippant, it really doesn't mean to but I am 43 and I just want to pass on a little of my good luck to you lovely ladies.

Hopefully we will see some of you chasing us on the September thread.

xx

ilovethebeach · 02/01/2010 23:37

What an unlucky bus so far . I'm sorry to those with AF, weird game-playing cycles (I've been known to have those) and cp's.

AF arrived for me too this eve making this a 28 day cycle- don't think I've ever had such a short cycle. Don't think it's a good thing though as think it's my luteal phase that's sufferuring! God I hate TTC, Aarrrrrrrgghhhhh!!!!

DH is having an SA this week though so I suppose that's something.

This time we're going to BD every other day I think, as POints suggested. DC2 was conceived on cycle 7 though and I just don't think that will be our lucky number again.

Good luck everyone x

jbakedbean · 02/01/2010 22:46

thanks, i'll get myself on an antenatal thread and wish you all the best of luck in BFP's and hope you get them as early as possible this year.x

digitalgirl · 02/01/2010 22:45

Sorry for your cp drkgpink - that sucks. FWIW I got my af 30 days after my mc and I normally have quite long cycles.

Can I join in the 'i don't understand this cycle I'm having' club? I think af might have arrived, but it's still officially spotting when it's only light brown cm, not red. So I don't want to change to cd1 until it turns red or looks a bit heavier. Either way, this is a weirdly short cycle for me which I guess would make sense as I had a feeling I ovulated 2 weeks ago. After nye's bfn I'm reluctant to test till next weekend. Reckon I'll know by then whether or not this spotting is AF or not.

UmBongo · 02/01/2010 21:48

Well points we are not doing too badly on the bd this month, we even managed last night when I thought that all we would manage was sleep and lots of it!

I really hope that we are all lucky EARLY in 2010 as all my marbles will definately leave home permanently. I know that "they" say that you are more likely to conceive if you are not trying and all that crap, my question is this. How the f*&@ are you supposed to achieve that? Every month I think that I will give up hope and every month i am back to square one and believing that this will be THE month. Maybe when we get to 2 years I will burn my thermometer and chuck every calender in the bin.

Sorry, this was supposed to be a Happy New year and Good Luck to Everyone message

Redbug · 02/01/2010 21:47

Pah, I am nearly on CD30! No AF, not a single pregnancy symptom (I had loads last time, and refuse to believe there wouldn't be a single thing). Have just got the beginning of imminent-AF type feelings, but irritatingly late. I like my short cycles, dammit!

I think we're going to go for alternate days next month from about CD7 until well after I've ovulated - ovulated later than expected this month (which is probably why AF is a couple of days later than usual), so will make sure to continue until I'm absolutely sure in Jan

pointsmakeprizes · 02/01/2010 20:39

Thanks girls, I think our approach has to be just BD every other night regardless of what temps and opks say until we get the BFP or AF!

pink sorry to hear about your BFN, it's really disappointing after all the positive tests.

I don't know what is going on with this bus, it's not been very lucky at all, hopefully passengers down the line will get some better news.

Muser · 02/01/2010 19:30

Really sorry to hear you got a BFN drkgpink, I was hoping things would work out for you.

Once I got my negative test after the positives AF came in the next couple of days. So you should be back on track pretty soon. I hope you get some better news soon.

OP posts:
drkgpink · 02/01/2010 19:24

sorry to shellee and YTD who have hopped off. congrats to sugar. finger crossed for those testing.

Think i should hope off too after weird month with two periods some spotting and 3 BFPs, I now have a BFN so guessing chemical pg.

muser, how long was your AF after miscarriage.

Good luck everyone and when my body sorts itself out may see you on a bus soon.

lucybrad · 02/01/2010 18:15

i know how you feel points. I was merrily thinking that i must have OV'd about day 12-13 as i had lots of ewcm and then it stopped completely only to have a tiny bit yesterday morning - which makes me think i cant be pg or have ov'd or else why would i have some, it was just a tiny bit but (tmi) it was def stretchy. grrr. cant really expect to be pg as have been merrily tipplin all xmas!

asianbabe · 02/01/2010 17:30

Points that must be so frustrating for you I feel pissed off for you too!!! This baby making malaky is so beginning to get to me aswell now.

Oh well as DH says we must stay positive and carry on.If only he knew how much I was spending on CBT each month!!! Hehehe

pointsmakeprizes · 02/01/2010 12:57

Sorry to hear about your AF YTD - I really hope you graduate on the October bus, you really deserve to see some good news.

Asianbabe - Hope AF doesn't show for you, I think I am going to lose the plot this month.

I've been madly testing the last 3 days - I don't know what is going on with my cycle at all. My CBFM test sticks have been showing peak for the last 3 days which means either that I am about to ovulate which I thought I already did 11 days ago according to my charting or it could be pregnancy however every single test I have done is coming up negative including First Response so it seems I may be about to ovulate so instead of coming to the end of my 2WW it looks like I am just about to start it!! I am sooooo p*ssed off. We only managed to BD once last night in the last few days as thought I had already ovulated and don't think I've done enough now to get a BFP.

I found out five people I know were pregnant in December to top it all off.

Muser · 02/01/2010 11:25

Sorry to hear AF got you YTD. Hope you have better luck in 2010. New Year, new babies for all!

Happy New Year to All

Sorry been real quiet lately but have been checking the bus everyday seeing how everyone is getting on.

Am on CD28 but don't feel too optimistic as POAS this morning and it was a BFN. Oh well will wait and see if AF turns up now.

YorkshireTeaDrinker · 02/01/2010 10:23

I've been sat very quietly at the back of this bus and now will have to get up and sidle off. Looks like I'm going to have to try and catch the next one as AF is here with a vengance. Fortunately I recieved a lot of wine and chocolate for Christmas, so I'm well armed.

Good luck to all those approaching testing.

I keep hoping someone else will have tested when I come on here! No AF yet, so maybe I'll test again tomorrow if it doesn't appear emoticon. Got a BFP 3 days before I was due last time though, so would be surprised if I was pg following BFN on Thurs (AF due yesterday, but my cycles are occasionally as long as 29-30 days).

2010jollster · 01/01/2010 22:03

Hi digital sorry about your BFN.

Short cycles, good bloody question... Had an ERPC after an MMC in August; first period end of September, then had a 33 day cycle (with some frantic POAS) , then 22, then 22 again ... think maybe system still getting back to normal. OR in my dark moments as I'll be 42 next birthday, I wonder if it's the approaching menopause (though this isn't in family history, neither mum nor 2 older sisters were early).

Let's see what happens this month...

Definitely scope for some more BFPs up there at the front of the bus.

Muser · 01/01/2010 21:50

There's a bunch of people fast approaching the testing point Medee, we'll have some more graduates soon I'm sure.

OP posts:

not many graduates this month
