September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

Hi girls,

Just changing my stats think I didn't put them on properly at the start and now think I ovulated today (due to major ovulation aches) so even more unlikely being the last BD was 5 days ago!!!

Fingers crossed for more BFP's :-)

legallyblond · 04/01/2010 13:44

Hi all

(Belated) Happy New Year. I haven't been posting because of Christmas etc, but just caught up on all the news.. or mostly lack of

Af showed up just in time for Christmas, so at least I got to drink and be merry.. Still at the back munching on Kawaiiko's muffins though as if it happens this month, the due date would be 28th Sept. Have been attempting to bd (gosh, so so tmi) every other day so far but, you ladies are right, dh oddly reluctant..?! Who would have thought?

Any way, chin up all, still plenty of time left!

x

stuffedmk · 04/01/2010 13:07

Spotted some ewcm on days 11-13 so I may be end of sept after all. got some BDing in on days 12 and 13 so at least got a chance this time. so I suppose I now have 2 (or 3) weeks to wait.

happynappies · 04/01/2010 12:52

Hi everyone - not been around for ages since I first reserved my place on the bus. Am not testing, really don't want to have to fork out on tests, so am waiting as long as I can and will go to GP if AF is late. Its killing me though!!!

asianbabe · 04/01/2010 11:28

Morning All

No sign of AF so just waiting really. Also don't have the usual AF pains could be a good sign I hope!!!

Anyway will wait a few more days to test.

FrenchLimeBlossom · 04/01/2010 10:09

Grrrrrr - ok so tested with FMU and still BFN but the test did not work, no control line!

Has anyone got any good news today? redbug or asianbabe any luck yet?

UmBongo · 04/01/2010 10:04

Am lovimg the idea of presnting dh/dp with urine covered stick as a gift !!

nymph let us know when you manage to get dh to do his duty in his pot, I haven't managed to succeed on that one, will try again when af arrives and I temporarily don't have a need for his swimmers myself!! Help yourself to the optimism tablets, there is huge bucket of them on the back seat of the bus!

Harrumph. AF now four days late, but still not a symptom to speak of, and refuse to buy more tests for another couple of days. On the other hand, I did OV late this month, so going on the basis of 2 weeks since OV, I'm only due today. Oh, the confusion of bodies! I don't particularly mind if I'm not pg this cycle, just want to get AF and get on with the next one!

Also have a DP with imminent birthday, so might test on his birthday (only a couple of days away) and put a big bow on the test!

drkgpink · 04/01/2010 08:11

morning all just removing myself from list but keep checking on you all. Still waiting for a proper AF after cp but hopefully make it onto october bus when it comes

FrenchLime BLossom fingers crossed a FMU brings a BFP for you.

Thanks for the muffins kawaiiko, and I agree we need to get some more chanting and cake going on this bus.

AF's due on Sunday for me, but am going to hold off testing until next Tuesday. Partly because I think I ov'd late so could have long cycle, and partly because it's DH's birthday. If I get a BFP I'm planning on wrapping up the test as a present for him. Don't know what would freak him out more - the fact that we would be having a baby, or unwrapping a urine covered stick as a present

Good luck to everyone else that's due to POAS this week - looks like the front of the bus is getting quite crowded. Hopefully the grads list will soon stop looking so depressingly short.

FrenchLimeBlossom · 03/01/2010 20:45

Hey all, just checking in. Am officially pissed off with my crazy body - now 4 days late, been spotting brown for the last three days (i NEVER have spotting) but no AF as yet. I did give in and test yesterday afternoon and got BFN so am not holding out much hope but will test again tomorrow morning if nothing happens.

Best of luck to everyone, and thanks to all for the amazing support - MN really is full of such lovely people, it makes the TTC journey so much easier travelling with all of you!

Gracie14 · 03/01/2010 19:50

Hi girls,

sorry to hear of all the af's :-(

Think I'm now on 2ww, not sure of chances this month as last bd was CD11 but who knows fingers crossed.

x

nymphadora · 03/01/2010 14:31

Got any to spare Umbongo? I have already been asking DH what day he can go to the hospital with his pot when AF arrives

UmBongo · 03/01/2010 12:25

[joins kawaiiko in chanting] Babies for all in 2010, babies for all in 2010!! Thanks for the muffins.

I have to say I am pleased that other dh's are seemingly not over the moon at the prospect of almost compulsory sex. Trying to keep it as making love after all this time of TTC is hard. So kawaiiko if you are freakishly abnormal, then so are we.

Thanks for the kind words lia if you are still lurking! 2010 WILL be our year. And there is lots of it still to go, enough time to conceive and have a baby and even maybe get it sleeping through the night by next christmas!!! (mmm, these new optimism pills must be working this morning!)

lucylev · 03/01/2010 11:43

Ahhhhh time for me to test!! Am going to hold out until Tuesday if i can, Not really any preg symtms except boobs achey, have also had the occasional headache which I have never suffered with and wondered if this was something to do with it, we did loads of Bding every other night from cd 9 right through to chrimbo so hopefully fingers crossed

Good luck to all

kawaiiko- Yummy delicious Muffins thanks!! x

Loujalou · 03/01/2010 11:18

Am not officially on the bus but points pmsl laughing at your DS. My DS puts my thermometer in my mouth. Not that I am addicted to temping or anything.

Hi to all you people who have been on the bus too long like me and good luck newbies too.

nymphadora · 03/01/2010 11:02

Don't know, will try & hold off as long as I can. Loads of people at that stage this week though, I'm quite far down the list still

pointsmakeprizes · 03/01/2010 10:22

Sorry to see you go too beach, we definitely need more cake on the bus, i've got some left over tiramisu from christmas if anyone wants that - been too lazy to take it out the fridge and actually wash the dish it's in!! Or maybe too busy being on TTC threads.

pointsmakeprizes · 03/01/2010 10:17

Digitalgirl sorry to see you go - hope you get better luck on the October bus.

We were supposed to BD last night but DS woke up and jumped into bed with us. My temps went up again and I got lots of ewcm - actually the most I've ever noticed this morning, so I guess I probably O'd yesterday (Sat). We only managed to BD on Friday night and a last ditch attempt this morning so not sure if we've done enough. We had done it loads and timed it to perfection for when I first thought I had previously ovulated. So anyway, I thought I was 12dpo but it looks like I am now only 1 dpo. This will be a 40 day+ cycle, the longest I've ever had - so not really the news I wanted to hear. I stopped going to acupuncture over Dec to save some money so wonder if that has anything to do with it.

kawaiiko it's very difficult to muster up enough interest when there is so much 'riding' (as it were) on doing the deed!

Nymph when will you test? I think I may have got testing out of system this month as the last few days have been a double whammy of opks and hpts every time I go to the loo - I don't even want to think about how much I spent.

I had my box of CBFM test sticks on my bedside table and DS picked them up and went "mummy want to do pee pee?" He's only 2.5 yrs! Can't believe even he knows I have a serious habit.
