September is a month of new beginnings, maybe we'll have some new beginnings of our own. Hop on board the September Bus and let's see where it takes us.

Congrats legallyblond

Meanbeansmum · 27/01/2010 12:29

Hi, just popping in to see how we are all doing.

Congrats to the new graduates! Congrats legally blonde! Lovely news!

All is ok here, been back and for the epu for bloods which are doubling. I have an early scan tomorrow at 5 weeks, no idea why they are scanning so early?!

Hugs to all who got caught by the witch, sending you some cyber chocolate and some babydust for next month.xxxxx

Nanny01 · 25/01/2010 10:47

legallyblond well done was wondering how you were doing. Hoping for my BFP this month.

pointsmakeprizes · 24/01/2010 21:32

legallyblond that's wonderful news, your wait is finally over. Good luck with everything and hopefully see you on the antenatal threads some time soon.

Cazzr I feel the same as you, feel desperate every month to get a BFP but at the same really scared too - have other things to sort out in life and having a baby is prob not the right thing to do at this point but am mid-thirties and don't want to leave it to late for the next one. I am on the October bus but if my cycle is as long as the last one then I would prob be November so I will wait until I ovulate to see if I need to switch buses.

Cazzr · 24/01/2010 21:03

Ok, as expected AF definitely on her way but will count day 1 as tomorrow for Oct/Nov bus.. Will either be 31st Oct or 1st Nov so not sure which bus to jump on, if I will jump on at all...

Back been majorly playing up again and want it sorted properly before falling pregnant so not sure if I will try this month or not...
I know I will get spd anyway and feel aprehensive enough about falling pregnant and the associated pain as it is without worrying my back will play up aswell, especially as I wouldn't be able to take the same drugs I have been taking this cycle...

Anyone else desperate to be pregnant but scared about it all the same?

PurpleHeffalump · 24/01/2010 20:20

Yey - congratulations - so happy for you. I knew we'd have one more!

legallyblond · 24/01/2010 16:04

Sorry to see you go Purple.

So I finally did a test this moring (a clearblue digital) and it said "pregant - 2-3 weeks"! BFP!!!!! Still in very happy, slightly emotional shock... although its early days of course...

AF came this morning with no warning at all which is unusual. But if I've learned anything from the last few months it's that a normal cycle doesn't exist!
Even though I was completely expecting it, it was a bit disappointing. I suppose there is always that little bit of hope.

So off to the huge scary November bus

PurpleHeffalump · 22/01/2010 17:28

I'm not getting the cramps I normally do when AF is due so thinking I many be even later this month. First two cycles off the pill were 26 days, then last month was 30 days (typical as first month of TTC so I got excited). Now I'm thinking that this month may be longer - which will be a bummer as it'll mean I'll probably ov whilst on a 12 hr flight :-(

Look out in the news for a deperate PurpleHeffalump being arrest for trying to join the Mile High club!

Really, really hoping it's a BFP for you legallyblond - although I too can not understand how you can put off testing - so much self control!

stuffedmk · 22/01/2010 11:56

I actually waited until the day AF was due to test with DS (well I used the 28 day pill cycle as a guideline anyway) because the test I had bought told me to. Where has all that will power gone.

stuffedmk · 22/01/2010 11:52

I assumed that AF was on her way when pg with DS. Complained to women at work about the cramps I was getting and they told me you often get them when pg. They were much worse than normal AF pains though. Mind you at the time I put that down to only just coming off the pill and not remembering what real AF was like.

legallyblond · 22/01/2010 11:29

Thanks stuffed... the only reason I am able to hold off on the testing is becuse it really feels to me like af is on her way (absolutley every usual symptom) so I don't really think I am pg... but we'll see tomorrow!

I don't even know, having never been pg before, if being pg feels a bit like pre-af...?

stuffedmk · 22/01/2010 10:53

Just hopping back on briefly to give you a bit of company.

Fingers crossed for those of you left. Hope you don't find yourself on the next bus.

I admire the will power....there is no way I could make myself wait until AF few days late, definately the better plan though if you can manage it

legallyblond · 21/01/2010 12:32

... still no af here..... I am not going to test until Saturday though - I would just rather know (either way) on a weekend and with my dh there.

Anyone else have news?

Cazzr · 21/01/2010 08:37

I'm here but might as well not be as we haven't really tried this month as was on antibiotics during fertile week and told to use contraception. :/

That said I'm fairly sure I ovulated a couple of days late so inevitably AF will be a couple of days late just to wind me up!

Not sure if i'll end up at the back of October bus or very front of November at this rate...

PurpleHeffalump · 20/01/2010 20:32

I'm still here (for now). It is getting rather lonely. Just stitting out the wait.

Here's hoping for at least one last BFP from the last remaining few??????

Nanny01 · 20/01/2010 10:54

legallyblond maybe af won't come for you, this was my first cyle so I pretty much thourght I wouldn't even though we bd on the right day. Feel I need chocolate now. Oh well maybe that was pmt stress yesterday. I will put it away for next month now

MissWooWoo · 20/01/2010 10:49

ffs

looks like I'm getting off too

ffs

legallyblond · 20/01/2010 10:15

Nooo... Nanny and Kawaiiko, I'm so sorry to see you go. Af is due for me today, so pretty sure I'll be joining you on the Oct bus in a day or so. Save me a seat?

Is anyone else left on the bus....?

Cazzr? PurpleH? NancyDrew?

Feeling a bit lonely but, as I said, I suspect I'll be hopping on a cowded Oct bus any moment now...

MissWooWoo · 19/01/2010 17:05

Hi all

Had miscarriage in november last year at 6.5 weeks, first period after mc came on day 32. Am now on day 28 of cycle (usual is 28-30 days). Trying not to get hopes up but of course desperate for successful pregnancy (have one dd 2.7).

Trying to wait until day 32 to test, hope I haven't jinxed myself by posting.

Good luck everyone who is waiting
