Congratulations Vix - soo exciting for you!
Well, I got my AF today which means that this cycle has only been 27 days. Not sure whats happening, especially as was pretty sure that I ov'd late on day 20! Am thinking of getting the clear blue fertility monitor cos at least then I might have a clue about whats going on.
Good luck to all of you testing in the next few days.

vix206 · 09/12/2009 16:56

I just took a FRER and got a nice thick strong pink line! Used IC at the same time with same urine sample and got nothing, no line at all. Both my previous lines on the Ic's were very faint too so I think I'll be leaving those alone to prevent further worrying! babydust to you all

vix206 · 09/12/2009 13:05

Thanks everyone! I do feel I tested too early though and to be honest all I am doing is feeling anxious... Need to get through the weekend with no AF and then I may relax a little!

Hey everyone, I got a BFP yesterday and another one this morning (although worryingly it was a little fainter than yesterday's) so I am very tentatively hoping everything will be okay.

Used internet cheapies and the lines both times were faint, AF is due Friday so if I am AF free then I will take a First Response I think...

zippys · 09/12/2009 08:30

Hi everyone,

Sorry for not been around much at the moment but have so much going on at the moment, work is really busy and then we have no internet at home at the moment!! (feel like my arm has been cut off!)

Will do a proper post once I have internet at home again but wanted to let you know i am still about and still reading all your messages.

Curly I have to say that your photo made me cry, its amazing. I am so pleased for you and just cant wait until other people get their BFP's.

Well I still feel sick but done another pregnancy test (they were £1.44 for 3 from asda - this could be leathal for a poas addict like me ) - BFN which I knew deep down as I had just finished my AF! In BD'ing period at the moment so at least I am on the fun bit but it has been a bit sparse at the moment what with everything going on so not holding out much hope!

bunnygirl80 · 09/12/2009 03:37

Thought I'd update the list even though it's stupidly early in the morning for most of you! Hope it's right - looks like there's a few of us coming up to testing time....hopefully that means a few BFPs before xmas!

No news from me really - hanging out to test on Sunday or Monday I think.

I haven't really had any symptoms apart from feeling a bit sick in the night a couple of times, but I feel fine in the day, so it's probably a coincidence.

Interesting about the fertility monitor. If I'm not PG this month, we have been faithfully shagging around CD12 - 15 for 9 months, with no result. I have a regular cycle and so I can only think either that there is something not working with the sperm (and DH is v healthy) or we are just not bonking at the right time.

So next month I'm going to go all guns blazing with temping, OPKs, I have ordered "Taking charge of your fertility" as well.

I've been taking it pretty easy up until now, but maybe I do need to try a more focussed approach!

Then I figure if nothing happens after 4-5 cycles of being more scientific, I can at least go to the Dr, feeling that we have done everything we can to make it happen.

MadameG · 08/12/2009 13:16

Hi everyone, how are we all? 36 days since my last period. It's really getting me down, I wish it would just bloody come so I can get on with TTC. [ANGRY]

claireinthecommunity · 08/12/2009 12:41

Afternoon all

Good to hear from you Spirael, even though you are getting MS. Bet you can't wait till your scan now you've seen Curly's!

Yes Curly, we really do get all 'partied out' at this time of year! We earn v good money though, which sees us through the early part of the year when things are more quiet. (The joys of being self-employed - take the work when it's there and save for when it's not!)

Great news about getting your peak pixie, good luck with it all.

Thanks for updating the list again kkas.

Dh and I are still on track for every other day and we're both really enjoying it The couple of months off seem to have given us a new lease of life (let's hope they create one too!).

kkas · 08/12/2009 11:51

Curly - oh my god!!!!!!!! That picture is so cute and so exciting! Well worth the £75 I reckon. How brilliant to be able to tell people about it over Christmas.

My CBM finally gave me the much anticipated "peak" message this morning! Which confirms that we have been BDing at totally the wrong time every month - CD10-15 when we should have been doing it CD18-19. So the £65 I spent on the bloody thing was worth it just to know that. Feeling much more in control of this now, even if I don't manage to get pg this month.

Sevans - Im glad to hear that your DH is being such a star. I hope that if the major loss does come this week that it won't be too painful physically

OP posts:
CurlyCasper · 08/12/2009 08:54

Morning,

Sevans Thanks for being so kind - especially as you are having a tough time. As spir says, I hope you are over the worst of it. And I also hope you will take advantage of the fertility surge people keep talking about. Look after yourself.

Claire Don't work yourself into the ground! But, then again, It's good that you are busy and business is booming. You must get seriously partied out at this time of year! x

Spirael · 08/12/2009 08:48

Hi all! I've been lurking silently for a bit but figured I'd quickly check in, if that's all right with everyone. Unlike lucky CurlyCasper with no MS, I've been sick as a dog! Really hoping it'll start easing off over the next few weeks.

I didn't realise you'd put the scan pic up, CurlyCasper! It is really clear, though I agree it does look a bit like a cute little jelly baby. Amazing to think that something so tiny will grow into a child, then eventually an adult! It must be such a relief to know everything is going fine and be able to finally let people know what's going on.

I have a private scan booked for next Thursday (17th), which I'm crossing my fingers will go as well.

I'm glad things seem to be calming down a bit for you, sevans. The temperatures getting more under control is probably a good sign. Hopefully the doctor is wrong and there isn't a major loss looming over the coming days.

How's everyone else doing? Anyone coming up on testing over the next few days? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some more BFPs before Christmas, and even more BFPs before the end of the year!

claireinthecommunity · 08/12/2009 00:21

There is no need for you to apologize sevans, you need to look after yourself at the moment It's good to hear from you and lovely that your DH has been looking after you so well. You sound amazingly strong, I really hope you don't have any more painful cramping. Take care x.

I too haven't been replying to posts directly very much, it's a very busy time of year for us work-wise, but I am reading through and posting when I can.

Take care all, whatever stage of TTC you are at

sevans · 07/12/2009 23:47

Wow curly, the picture is amazing! I'm glad to hear everything is going so well for you. Congrats again!

Today was my first day back at work and it sure was busy. It seems that I am finished with the cramping (yay!!) as this is the second day with no pain but still have some bleeding. I went and did blood work last Thurs to make sure my hcg levels are dropping and got the results today. They actually went up. How strange is that! I am going back this Thurs for more blood work. I think they will decrease this time around. My temp dropped below coverline for the first time today so I am thinking the end is nearing. My doctor said since I haven't had any heavy bleeding and my hcg levels are still up, I probably haven't had the major loss yet. That scares me because last week was awful as far as the pain. I don't mind the bleeding so much but those cramps were intense at times. I guess we will see. I'm starting to feel better emotionally about it and accept it. DH has been a real champ through all of this and has taken great care of me.

I'm sorry that I don't have time to respond to everyone but lots of babydust to you all!

xoxo

HypotheticalMummy · 07/12/2009 23:04

Curly - that is so wonderful! Your picture made me well up! I think if I were in your position I'd so - no presents for anyone this year, im having a scan a week!

I can feel my body gearing up for AF and I just know, I just know it hasn't happened this month. DP says I'm being silly, I think he'e bing naive

bunnygirl80 · 07/12/2009 22:39

Curly amazing scan picture. All the other scans I've seen from a similar stage just look like a fuzzy blob but yours is so clear - I bet it was really exciting to see your baby.

Not much to report from me. Have got some weird AF like cramps this morning (not due for at least another 5 days though) and gagged on my folic acid tablet. I think that's probably because it tastes horrible though! Temps have gone up again too and are now sky high. I am NOT reading anything into any of this though and have promised not to test until at least this time next week.

Might go out and buy a xmas tree and some decorations this week. I'm really not feeling in the xmas spirit at all-my brain can't cope with it being sunny at xmas-but maybe some putting up the tree will help get me in the mood.
