Happy Holidays to everyone! November big congrats to you! Excellent timing! It's interesting to hear that you have no symptoms. I always just assume that I'll know. However, it seems that many, many people really don't. It just gives me more to obsess over! I've turned into such a freak that I now even symptom spot pre-O. As in "oh I feel queasy, maybe I am... oh yeah, I haven't O'd yet...oh well". It's so ridiculous it's funny.

I just got myself a clearblue monitor off ebay for Christmas. It was $50, I'm not sure what this convets to, maybe somewhere around 35 euros/ 30 pounds. It's used, but comes with some strips. I've read that they're easily reset.

OK, I'm off to enjoy the holiday. Marry Christmas to all! (and Happy holidays, etc. to everyone else!!)

chalky3 · 24/12/2009 17:41

Congratulations November, what a great Christmas present!

Sorry to hear you're still going through all that pain Sevans, I hope it's all over for you soon and Christmas takes your mind off it for a little while.

I've no idea when we should be TTC as my cycles have been all over the place. It does take the pressure off a little though so we can just enjoy ourselves!
Finished work a couple of days ago until next Tuesday so I've been able to enjoy sitting in my lovely warm house looking at the snowy winter wonderland outside. Snow is great but only if you don't have to drive or work in it!

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and Santa is good to you all!

NovemberAli · 24/12/2009 17:23

Thank you everyone for all your messages, I don't seem to have any symptoms at the moment so it all seems very unreal.

I'm so sorry to hear you're still suffering Sevens, wishing you lots of luck and happiness for 2010.

Happy Christmas to All

Calyx · 24/12/2009 17:00

Novemberali yayyyyyy another BFP well done! Excellent timing, christmas eve, you'll always remember the date you got your BFP! When I saw that you had a 'triphasic pattern' I thought "she's pregnant!" and I was right !

Kaloki LOL @ 'killed the party' we're just fashionably late dahling fingers are still crossed for you if you do test tomorrow!

Sevans sending you lots of warm and happy vibes to help you through, I hope you manage to have a nice Christmas and feel much better very soon x

Zippys feeling sick eh, hopefully that's not AF but just a wee red herring, if not then enjoy a few wee drinkypoos over Christmas and 2010 will be a whole new fresh start again (every month's a fresh new start for me, somehow it helps)!

Hobnob LOL @ 'pre-season friendlies' I like that!

Whiteroses gosh I know, it's horrible not knowing when you ov, I'm thinking seriously about trying the ebay OPK's as well and I know what you mean about getting tired with all the DTD every day/every other day! We managed for 3 days in a row then work shifts meant we haven't managed for a couple of days. I think I've ov'd on day 14, we managed to DTD on days 10, 11 and 12, I was desperate to do it on day 13 as I was feeling 'pinching' type of cramps and he was at work arghhhh! But like DH says, maybe we've done enough and if not, there's always next month

Bunnygirl LOL your poor DH with the exhaustion! Sounds like you're doing well I like the charting and temping too and looking back through the charts.

I also record being horny it seems to happen around ov time. I record every twinge and cramp too LOL haven't seen a real pattern yet though ("only" seven cycles so far LOL)

I'm sorry if I've missed anyone.

I've still got a few (okay, about six) presents to wrap and I've also got dishes and tidying/hoovering/washing to do, that's my exciting Christmas Eve LOL! Did manage to finish work early, I got out at 3.15pm and got to Sainsbury's for some Bailey's for my sister (I'm going to her house tomorrow so that was quite an evil present to buy, since I know I'll be getting some ha haaa!).

I hope everyone has a gorgeous Christmas whatever you are doing; HUGE best of luck for more BFP's for all the testers over Christmas, congratulations again November and I'll see you all again soon!

Merry Christmas everybody and thanks for the support, advice, laughs, tears and hugs xxxx

kkas · 24/12/2009 14:17

congrats novemberali way to go cycle buddy!!!! so happy for you

Kaloki · 24/12/2009 13:14

zippys That's frustrating! I'm glad the snow here thawed when it did otherwise I'd be in the same boat. Hopefully the New Year will bring some good news for you.

zippys · 24/12/2009 12:43

Congratulations Novemberali what a Christmas present.

Sevans I feel so so sorry for you, it has been a horrible few weeks for you, I hope you feel a bit better tomorrow.

Well the snow has meant a change in plans for me, no tests in the house and not going out (got a lift to work) - arggghhh so I think I will wait to see if AF is late or not and hold out testing till then. Dont want to get my hopes up but felt so sick this morning even more than normal but I dont feel pregnant and I had the classic spot appear this morning so think it will a BFP in the New Year for me

Good luck to all testing, and I will catch up with you all after Christnmas when I can post properly (at last)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

NovemberAli that's brilliant news! Congratulations!! Happy Christmas! Enjoy your early present!

NovemberAli · 24/12/2009 11:22

Tested this morning and....BFP ! Still in shock and not quite believing it, took 3 to make sure then did a little dance around the Christmas tree.

Sevans sorry to hear that you're still going through a hard time. I hope it's all over soon and you start to feel better again.

Hobnob I have definitely been more horny since starting TTC - I think it's a case of the more we do it the more I remember I enjoy it and then want more. Much like my attitude to chocolate

I too am obsessed with fertility friend - I love doing graphs and charts and recording details so it's ideal for me. November a triphasic chart sounds very promising - I'll be looking out for your test results.

Whiteroses I am indeed watching out for signs of ov! (and getting lots of bd action in just in case I miss them!)

Very odd cycle this month - had 3 days of proper AF then another 7 of spotting (so 10 days in all). Then everything seemed fine until yesterday when I got some more spotting but also feel like ov is just around the corner.......think I'll just keep going with bd every other day until fertility friend tells me it's ok to stop or dh gives up through exhaustion

Hobnob76 · 23/12/2009 20:38

Claireinthecommunity so glad to hear that others get really horny too! And yes, I also write it in my diary!

Thanks for the welcome NovemberAli WhiteRoses we were waiting TTC for about 2 yrs, it was hell, all I've ever wanted is to be a mummy! Sad I know!

Sevans so sorry to read about what you're going through

As for me CD5, not much to report, only that the witch has finally left, and PSF's (pre season friendlies) can resume

claireinthecommunity · 23/12/2009 20:31

Sevans, I am so sorry for you that you are still going through this, particularly at this time of year. I hope that you are right and the increase in bleeding is the final part for you. Wishing you well very soon

I'm sorry but no time to post to anyone else (we are expecting visitors anytime soon) but I wanted to read todays posts and couldn't not post to Sevans.

sevans · 23/12/2009 18:51

Just checking in. Been so busy with work, Christmas, and of course this neverending miscarriage. I'm still miserable but the vicodin is helping some with the cramping. This Saturday will be four weeks of bleeding and cramping. Throughout this time I have had a few good days here and there where I was fine but for the most part felt sick everyday either from cramping, sick to my stomach, weak, dizzy, etc. I can't really eat what I want to. Last weekend I ate ice cream (a fav of mine) and got so sick from it. My hcg levels were rising (I think I mentioned that before) but the last week they have started to drop but not significantly like they want to see. As of yesterday I was in the 2200 range. I am to do blood work again next Monday and then we will decide about doing a D&C. I had the option of that a few weeks ago but wanted to go naturally since the ultrasounds didn't show a whole lot and the miscarriage happened so early I didn't think there was much to come out. My bleeding increased yesterday so I am hoping this is it. I am not as opposed to a D&C anymore because I really want this to end and to feel fine again. Who knows when we can TTC again but honestly that isn't as much on my mind as is feeling better. This has taken a toll on me physically more than I ever imagined.

Anyway, I wish you all luck with TTC and healthy pregnancies for those of you that have stuck around. And of course I wish you all a wonderful Christmas!

Kaloki · 23/12/2009 13:09

WhiteRoses Nope, no new ones.

Hello all

LOL at all the boob watching

I too am a fertility friend obsessive yorkshire, I think being a scientist a nice chart does appeal to me! In fact have observed a "triphasic pattern" (sudden jump in temp 10DPO)so hoping this is a good sign - going to test tomorrow as then will be driving up to the parents! I hope the visit to the doctors goes well.

Good luck with the testing Claire, fingers crossed we get our Xmas BFPs!

WhiteRoses if you do want to try OPKs without bankrupting yourself I recommend Ebay - you can get the little dipstick ones that are a couple of £ for 25!

Welcome to the TTC madness Hobnob

kkas · 23/12/2009 09:55

yorkshire good luck today. let us know how you get on.

ceebs sorry to hear about AF. at least you know you can have a drink over christmas. don't worry, my cycles have been all over the place since i came off the pill too. think it just takes a little while to get back to normal. i've updated you on the list although not sure what to put for UCL.

last day at work for me and then 5 days off! woohoo!!! i'm sure i'll be on MN again over the long weekend though as i'm dying to hear the news of those testing!

FF shows me oving on Day 22 and i'm pretty sure that is right cuz i had EWCM the day before and a very noticeable temp rise after. unfortunately, we had only BD'd on Day 19, so am pretty sure the timing was off. but if AF is not here by New Years I will join the testing club too.

Good luck guys!
