Sevans - I can't believe it took them 6 weeks to diagnose your ectopic pregnancy. It was so obvious that something was very wrong and that this wasn't a "normal" miscarriage. I am furious and so sad that you have been treated like this. Come back to us all for a rant and a cry whenever you want.
Welcome Drewsgirl and Hermia! This is such a fast moving thread these days!
Giraffe - Ooh, we are all doing the absolute worst thing and fuelling your hopes, but it soooo does sound like implantation bleeding! Fingers crossed!
Hobnob - sore boobs and a "heavy" stomach?!?!?! I am keeping my eye on you! That sounds very very hopeful. Roses described her stomach as feeling exactly that way!
Worrisome and Clare - good luck with the BDing!
Calyx - the race is on! My husband is going to be 42 aswell in just a couple of months and he is also getting "the fear" that it is something to do with him. Personally I think we have just been unlucky, or mis-timing things most months, so we just need to keep going at it! Well, thats what I say when I am having a good day...
I actually LOL'ed at "Swim! Swim for your lives!" Very dangerous in a shared office! Wow, the quotes that we come up with on this page, Mumsnet could do a book just on us!
WhiteRoses - I'm with the others, I will definitely be stalking you if you set up a Graduates page! I need lots of pg/baby news to keep me motivated. And I'm sure there must be lots of nervous newbies out there who need to panic about things that more experienced mums would scoff at.
My relationship with my mum is odd. We are very close but I get the feeling that it is on the condition that she gets to baby me a bit and "look after me". She'll do really sweet things like send me £20 every now and then so I can treat myself to something, or send me a pair of socks in the post if it is cold, but I get the impression that its because she thinks of me as a big student! As though I would blow all my money and forget to buy socks! If I even remotely mention pregnancy she completely freaks out and tells me I am only a baby myself. I am 27 btw which is a fairly respectable age to be TTC. I have done two degrees, but she thinks it would be much more sensible of me to go back to "school" than to start a family. (We are from the UK not America so the use of the word school is just weird!!! ) I just dread the moment when I have to tell her I am pg.
I don't know, its very hard to explain. I probably just sound like a brat!
Well, I am nearing the point at which I can test! AF due in a week. After last months 33 day cycle, getting all hopeful and then all crushed, I will probably test this month, just so I don't get all excited if AF doesn't arrive. The not knowing was too cruel last month, and I was so depressed when AF came that I could barely get out of my pjs for Christmas. None of that self-indulgence this month! I will be sensible about the whole thing. .... probably!
I am loving the pg signs - Bunny buying Tampax, and Giraffe spotting that lorry!! Obviously this will be the month that the whole thread graduates, and then Roses won't need to create a new thread after all!
