hello ladies, i must apologise for not posting the last few days, i havent felt up to coming on here. but af turned up this morning, cd 42! so now at least i know and my head is much clearer, what a complete head f**k! think i have just had the worst week ever, and looking back it must have been pmt, which i have never had in my life before. i almost walked out at work, cried on my boss, cried on dp, and funnily enough today i feel fine even with the evil witch arriving. bloody hormones! thanks for everyones concern, you are all so lovely.

hope everyone else is ok, it was quiet on here yesterday....

bakingqueen · 21/11/2009 12:46

Hello all things a bit clearer since appointment. Was not a pleasent experience saw a different consulant as usual one was off sick this one was not as nice. He was completly tactless when talking about mc and seemed not to know what he was talking about one minute saying dh needed to give a sample the next saying dh sample was normal!! Had to point out dh had given no sample so unless he was psychic how could he know it was normal. Upshot was to take a break until new year take metformin to help me lose some more weight and then restart clomid in new year. Kind of happy with this so lets see what 2010 brings for the rest of us small panters and commandos!!

Sorry for me me post. Going away tomorrow for a holiday so back next week love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

BuddhaBellyBigPants · 21/11/2009 11:28

Barbie I'd love the link to see the video hun And a picture of the wag diamong ring Lucky you
Baking How did it go with the consultant?
Moon I am so sorry that your body is doing this to you, I am ever hopeful that a late BFP will show, but I'm sure you'd rather just know one way or another now. That limbo land is just awful
MrsKate A blue one had a peek at the lovely photo's too
Annie All sounds very exciting, any more updates for us? Glad you felt at peace yesterday, did think of you x
Blue Sounds like your having a chunky monkey like us then as s/he is measuring a week ahead Have all the sweets made you sick yet?
Neeko Hope you have the 13 weeks marked on the calendar, start crossing them off you will be surprised how quickly they do go Enjoy the bear hunt today, hope the weather is on your side
Iggy Hope you can still hear us with your head in the sand
4ever Is it starting to feel real yet? I think having all the scan dates helped me work towards the hurdles, bring on the 30th
Curly Big waves, hope you are feeling well(ish)
Cupcake Gaviscon will become your new best friend trust me
Jools Words cannot express how happy I am that you have sought some help and I don't mean that in a patronising way at all, I found counselling invaluable, I hope you do too. You are definately making the right steps towards a more positive and peaceful life after m/c. Who knows what that will bring, but at least you will be well prepared mentally as well as physically. I wish I could give you a big fat hug and a thousand hair strokes BTW there are threads on here about TTC on medication if that is any help x

Also waves to lbm MLS Sabs & Vjay
Hope I haven't missed anyone, forgive me if I have.
Still pottering around doing a little bit, sitting down, doing a bit more. Have a few more things booked to do next week, good job as DH is going away Sunday to Weds on a course for his new job. I've got a breastfeeding workshop for 3 hours involving knitted breasts could be interesting!
Enjoy your weekend girls xx

bluesatinsash · 21/11/2009 11:15

Hi girls,

Hope the rain has subsided where you are! We got off quite lightly here considering we're in Scotland, birthplace of rain .

Jools - really pleased you are seekng help and not trying to muddle on on your own. The counselling will be so good, just being able to talk about yor mc's, your grief and worries about ttc again.

Neeko - I LOVE 'we're going on a bear hunt' especially the swooshy grass page . Lovely that your DH felt baby kick

Cupcake - love Jonny

LBM - Jacob for boy? Jeremy? I always likes 'Jem' too the son in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' Also Jasper?

barbiebusypants - hope you've got a quiet weekend lined up. I'm very at your ring but you deserve it lady

Its DH's b'day today and me and my Isabella Oliver dress are taking him out for dinner tonight . I was very gushy in his card but he has been a tower of strength for me during/after the mc's and very accomodating during the ttc on demand he deserves a big shout out! - I love you MrBlue

Hi all
mrskate I can't believe that you have a name already. Took is 3 weeks after ds had been borm before we could agree!

Thaks for the help with the j names - I don't have any of the J boy names, but cupcake we do already have your no 1 girls name and very lovely it is too. However, it's pretty unusual, so you can imagine how I was when I discovered another one 2 years above her at school!

I like Jesme by DH hates it and also Jessie for a boy ( again, DH hates it)

So, if anyone else is up for a challenge and would like to help, any suggestions welcome!

Sorry - must fly, hope everyone is well and have lovely weekends...

Neeko · 20/11/2009 21:15

Evening.

Jools I'm very proud of you for being so brave and seeking help. I know it might seem easier to hide and tell yourself you're ok so well done you for taking such a big step. I'm sure it'll make a difference and we're all here for you.

Barbie and MrsKate Lovely pics

Annie well done on surviving yesterday. Glad you felt so calm. Hope the baby doesn't keep you waiting too long.

4ever have to agree with everyone else that your post was so upbeat and lovely. Hope you're still grinning.

Vjay what a hungry boy you have but so nice that he's thriving

MLS Stop lurking and post!

I'm exhausted again so going to give in and go to bed. Love to all. Will post to rest later on this weekend.

P.S. Taking DD to see "We're going on a bear hunt" tomorrow and DH felt the baby kick today

cupcakefairy · 20/11/2009 17:44

It's not Jack Kate- but I actually wouldn't mind picking the same name as one of you girls...it's not like our kids are all gonna be in the same class is it!
...So I may aswell tell you the name is John/Johnny... simple but I adore it...plus it's my Grandpa's, FIL's and brother's name so lots of family connections. We're not totally sure we'd use it but we both love it

LOL Barbie that cracked me up you blushing over saying oh my god - as if!! I am really not one of those types! Oo I wanna see your bump, show us on here! Neeko and anyone else with a bump- you too please!

Hi jools so lovely to hear from you. Feel sad you were a wreck talking to the GP but so glad you're getting help. Thanks for popping in, am thinking of you lots.

Right, is it nearly time for dinner yet?

MrsKate · 20/11/2009 16:22

hi all

thanks for the messages ive put my scan pic on fb but will put on here in a mo

cupcake i hope we dont have the same my little man is going to be called Jack David after dh grandad and stepdad that have passed away xxxx

barbie1 · 20/11/2009 16:19

Phew what a week!!!! I realised how busy i have been when i went to make breakfast and realised the cooker was sparkling clean....means i havent used it since tues when the cleaner had been

I have been working late, wedding dress shopping with a friend, 30th birthday diamond ring shopping for me, 4d scanning...dubai golf championship and watching dh swim around the burj al arab......such a busy few days that ive been knackered! I have missed you all and thinking about you constantly!

Lots of happy news on here...wow for annie nearly ready to drop
for 4ever still so very happy for you for mrskate on a good scan and finding out the sex for jools for being a weeping mess but that you are addressing it and hopefully getting whatever help you need. We are here all the way for you honey.
cupcake at my constant use of "oh my god" on this thread
@ blue and mermaid who seem to be super organised and ready for christmas.....and for bluemoon at the strange body cycle you are having at the moment.
Big hugs to everyone else. I will do a more personal posting tomorrow once i have the computer to myself.....

I have been up since 6am this morning and on the beach for 7am to watch dh do the charity swim, i was so proud of him...and yes you can see my bump on fb, im looking shockingly bad, it was too early in the morning!!!

Just back from the golf, i might of been on the tv!......

Oh and dh has ordered me the same ring as my wedding ring to go the other side of my engagment ring so i can look like a wagfor my 30th birthday and the baby.....

The 4d scan was fab, didnt find out the sex although dh is sure he can see some 'balls' on the video i have posted pics on my profile if you wanna look...and we had uploaded the video to a popular viewing site. I can post a link to anyone interested? The baby was poking out its tongue...cheeky monkey!

Anyways im off to get more sleep, big hugs to you all x

VJay · 20/11/2009 13:46

Hiya, hope none of you have been affected by these awful floods.

Didn't manage to get back on mn yesterday as Ajay was stuck on the boob most of the day and again today, he's just got off for a sleep, I think, and hope, it's his 12 week growth spurt

jools glad you've gone to the doctors for help, but so sorry you need it, but you are doing the right thing I'm sure. Do you feel a little bit better making that move? I hope so

4ever I echo what blue says, you are so strong lady, and yes the goose bumps came out again

Ajay is awake again!!!!!!!!!Gotta go xx

Joolsiam · 20/11/2009 12:56

4Ever - I echo what Cupcake says - I love reading happy posts from you I will really feel like a cyber auntie when this LO arrives

Iggy - I'm still beating myself up about carrying large bags of compost to the car on a Sunday, getting cramps that afternoon and starting to miscarry on the Wed - its just not worth the worry it can cause, so agree with you on the horse-riding front.

Barbie - Was that your bump amongst the pics on FB this morning ?

Just flying by really - have been trying to stay away mostly. Had some very dark days but finally plucked up the courage to see a GP this morning and ask for some help before I lose all my friends, my job and destroy my relationship with DP - I am a soggy mess as a result, but am being referred for counselling and have to fill out a questionnaire to help them assess whether I am clinically depressed and to what degree - going back next week to talk things through further and may end up on meds I think - opens up a whole new world of worry and questions re TTC though ...

Annie - you know you now need to check in hourly and have live labour thread so we can all be "there" at the birth I'm glad things went as well as they could do this week.

Faith - it is strange - I thought I'd lost what little I had with the mc last year, but I still find it strangely comforting to be / grieve in the cathedral near home. Think I'm more of a humanist.

OK, must do some work - am thinking of you all, just find it hard to "talk" at the moment.

cupcakefairy · 20/11/2009 12:36

Ooh, yes meant to post some J names I like for LBM

Josiah (I love but dh disagrees!)
Joseph
Joshua
Jonah

Jocelyn
Joely
Janey

..ok I've run out...and I bet you already haveat least one of those boy names in your dh or ds ... there is another boy J name that's just my favourite ever but I think we might use it if we have a boy

cupcakefairy · 20/11/2009 12:31

Hi happy Blue cake, scones, candy?? You're making me hungry again (though it doesn't take much at the mo!!) I will just make myself a nice cuppa peppermint tea to see me through to lunch though.. seems to do the trick a bit with the throat-burn but will def be getting gaviscon if it continues.
Wooppee, faith freaks unite

I'm in a bit of a Friday mood too, I'm doing some writing, the sun is shining, and I'm seeing the actual sexiest vampire tonight Blue- Robert Pattinson (yes I am a thirteen year old girl)

How is everyone?

bluesatinsash · 20/11/2009 12:12

Afternoon ladies,

Just bought up my own body weight in cake and candy at DS's nursery for Children in Need then spent lovely two hours with Mum friend's eating scones and chatting about babies . Back home now to tackle ironing and generally potter and enjoy some me time..

4ever - reading your posts always make my heart melt and sing in equal measures . You are a testiment to the school of never giving up and I salute you and your DH . So glad you get strength from hospital chapel, I'm a bit of a faith freak too, just think there is someone looking out for all of us which is hard to understand sometimes when bad things happen to good people, but we have to believe it will all work out... Cripes got a bit existential there .

cupcake - with you on the heartburn, mine is in my throat too. Remember you can get Gaviscon on prescription - I get two huge bottles every time and it saves me a fortune. Your DH sounds so in love with you and this lo , January will be here before you know it and you have 16 week ante-natal first when you'll get to hear hb .

Moon - how are you today? Hope you've not disappeared again, please keep posting and letting us know how you are.

Annie - so glad you coped OK with visiting the crematorium and your DS2 decided to stay put. Keep bouncing on that ball! I'm going to start bouncing tonight whilst lusting after Bill Compton (sexiest vampire evah) in True Blood.

LBM - any further forward with 'J' names??

TFI Friday! Listening to my Mat tunes playlist, 'Moondance' by Van Morrison is on at the mo' doobedoobedooo x

Evening lovely girls. Wow annie you've had an eventful couple of days massive hugs on your Mum's anniversary sweetie and that's amazing you felt so calm...
Don't you dare go to 42 weeks or more though!! we are too impatient!

4ever I LOVE your jubilant happy posts just makes me believe everything in the world is going to be ok. I also absolutely love that you visit the hospital chapel, that's so so special. You've probably all gathered I'm a proper bible-basher so that makes me v happy! So amazing you have your 20 week scan booked!! EEEEP!

Moon I'm so so sorry about the BFN; so rubbish that you have to have this confusion on topof everything. I so hope the stress made you ovulate late and it could still be a happy ending

Barbie you still asleep?

Not much news here apart from nasty heartburn (but in my THROAT, is horrible)
Dh is being so cute, he keeps saying he really wants to see the baby again and wishes we didn't have to wait til January

Big nearly-the-weekend waves to everyone! 5 weeks til Christmas tomorrow and nearly time to watch Love Actually

littlebellsmum · 19/11/2009 20:34

annie probably good you're still here. Might have felt a bit odd had LO arrived today. Well done at the crem - must be that new life in you that is making you so calm - maybe they will be a calming influence. I'm crtainly hoping that mine is as chilled out as the scan suggested!

4ever wonderful to hear from you - I was beining to worry but thought that Tuesday was probably all a bit too much

iggy Stay in the sand - lovely and warm and its so cold out!

kate great news on little boy blue!

Budha Life doesn't sound fun for you - oh, well will be over soon and you'll have a lovely bundle of snuggles to cuddle!

anniebigpants · 19/11/2009 18:33

Evening ladies, im still here. Been to see consultant, suprise suprise she was running over an hour late, but even though some ladies were getting twitchy waiting, shes obviously running late for good reason, not just for the hell of it.
She examined me, checked for waters leaking, said it was just very watery discharge in copious amounts , im glad it wasnt waters really as they would have booked me in to be induced either tomorrow or Saturday. She said LO 'feels a good size already', hes still in right position but not engaged yet. Im still good to go for my VBAC, and she said they will let me go to 42 weeks, or even over if babs is still Ok, which i was suprised at as my MW said wouldnt be allowed to go over 10 days late.
So, no sign of another cyber nephew yet ladies im afraid

I went and laid flowers at the Crematorium, i thought i would have been a blubbing mess, cos i am usually when i go there, but i felt very calm and restful.

iggypiggy · 19/11/2009 17:15

4ever so pleased to hear from you! Am still so pleased that you had a good scan - is excellent!

Is funny - I felt totally different about the horse riding last time - but is differnt now and i can't take any risks. x

4everhopeful · 19/11/2009 16:51

Oooh x post Iggy hope mermaids shells keeping you occupied in that sand! St Georges really are great... xx

Also always miss someone off! Big wave to LBM!! Bless you for getting emotional for me hon! I know youre a cool banana cos your calmness is quite awe inspiring to me!!

Right must go!

4everhopeful · 19/11/2009 16:44

Hello Lovely ladies! Firstly a massive thank you for all the hand holding, prayers & support for my scan on Tuesday! Your joyous texts & posts afterwards had me in tears more than once! Was a very emotional day! Was so amazing to have such a detailed scan, the sonographer was really nice & the receptionist put a post it saying 'anxious' on my notes bless her, so I got real kid glove treatment! First was the relief of heart still beating, then the nuchal was measured & a teeny 1mm (baby 3 was 8mm ) then onto fingers toes spine etc in such beautiful detail! We were in there about 40 mins & even got to hear the heartbeat! DH & I were in tears through most of it, my hands were soaking with sweat as I grabbed DH! I swear at one stage he said something about scrotum too! We got a DVD so we will be checking! Best of all at the end he calculated the downs odds which were 1 in 5500 & the other trisomys, edwards or pattau (likely to have been what baby 3 had) was 1 in 9000!! DH and I were sobbing like babys at that part! So, he has arranged another fetal meds reassurance scan at 16wks on 22nd Dec & Anomaly 21wk on 26th Jan! Still, 1 day at a time & back to EPU for weekly scans every monday til wk 18! Also my own dates were spot on & I am indeed 12wks tomorrow (knew I was right!) so scan on mon 30th Ill be 13wk+3 & Ill have never been that far along, will be another major milestone! We see consultant under ante natal unit on thurs (instead of recurrent mc clinic) so that will be good too!!!! Im indulging in my own delight a little bit, but do not doubt for one sec, Im still very very very cautious & still taking it one week at a time, still wont truly believe til LO is actually in my arms! Anyway, after that rollercoaster of emotions was pretty exhausted so apologies for not posting before, nausea is back quite strong too... Anyway enough about me!

Im excited for Annie!! I know we text today but am itching to see how consultants went?! I said how apt it would be to go into labour today on your mums anniversary, she is definately smiling down on you hon! xx

Great nes that Babyblue is behaving itself & sticking in there hon! You must of been so worried at the thought of a prem baby but i had 2 friends deliver at 35wks & their babys were just fine, so SCBU or anything! Sure you are busy nesting & making most of mat leave! Thanks for being so understanding too hon xxx

Poor Buddha Im really feeling for you, my back is easing a little thank god so cant imagine how dehabilitating & frustrating it must be when you just want to nest & prepare. Really hope when LO pops out it will all be relieved.. xx

Talking of frustration, mother nature is being so cruel to you Blue its just not fair.. I hope you are finding inner strength to get through a depressing time & I echo the others, we are all here to listen to you vent & rant & cry & whatever you need to do.. Big hug xx

MLS Boo to AF getting you too.. Mind you, I think its good that you can get your tests rolling, hopefully find out a cause & a cure.. Hope you had a lovely hol..

Mermaid hope you're not too wet & windy down there! Thanks so much for the support on mon evening.. Hows life in mermaidland? Do share sweetie?! We are interested you know! xx

Masive thanks to you too Neeko for the hand holding & stuff, specially after your draining parents evening! Really glad you have decided on earlier mat leave! The countdown has begun! Exciting about your friend too! xx

Talking of pregnancy buddies - big hugs to the very lovely Cupcake for just being so sweet & understanding! The power of prayer is so important! I was telling Cupcake how we go to the hospital chapel before every scan to beg it will be alright & after tuesdays scan felt like thowing myself to my knees in thanks when we went back afterwards! Rub that tum from me sweetie! xxx

Great news from Mrskate about having a blue one! Bet DH is so chuffed.. Hope you are feeling a bit better too & taking things easy lady! xx

Iggy didnt get a chance to input before but was at the idea of you horse riding! Everyones covered what I would of said but glad you're not.. Im barely leaving the house & shopping feels like Im taking a risk even! Any more thoughts on that early scan?

Big wave to Curlywurly too talking of taking it easy, sympathies with you & your ailments, miss your mammoth posts hon! Big hug xx

Hows sleepy Barbie doing? Wanna hear about that 4d scan - surely you could see the flavour or are you keeping 'mum'?! Will attempt posting a piccie of mine soon, looking forward to seeing yours! xx

Bakinqueen hope your apt went well today & you got things straight in your head beforehand?

Sabs & Vjay kiss those gorgeous babys for me please!

OK better go, DH just back from a funeral its actually my ex's dad, DH & him knew each other since kids, so all quite amicable, feel bad didnt go but really not up to a big funeral, barely spend more than half hour visting my mum at the mo so just not up for it, sad tho... Will be lurking for news on Annie!

Quick lurk and post.

Ooh Annie so excited for you. Fingers crossed this is it.

*Blue8 i think you have to take ino account how wet Bonnie scotland is and how that encourages nasty things to spread. i'd actually feel happier about having it at your stage. [Grassisgreeneremoticon]

Kate Fab news. So pleased for you.

Cupcake Two hours alone in the dark and in peace?? Life's tough!

One of my friends just told me she's pg with her 2nd, due in July. She's been trying for 2.5 years. So pleased and i have another mat buddy.

After long discussion last night DH and I have decided I should stop a weekl earlier. 13 weeks to go including hols - unlucky for some, but not me!
