Hi monkeybumsmum lovely to see you again. please don't be a stranger.

Neeko · 01/12/2009 11:32

Mermaid OMG this is the best news! I'm so so so so soooooo happy for you!!!!!! Here's my hand and a tonne of cotton wool. Please tell your DH. this is something that you need to support each other on.

P.S. saw a BFP numberplate this morning and thought it was a shame that no one was due as it could be a sign. How wrong was I?

monkeybumsmum · 01/12/2009 11:30

Have been lurking a little, but just had to come and say a huge well done and fab news to mermaid Bet you can't believe it! Soooo hope everything goes well, shall be checking for updates!

While I'm at it, massive congrats to you too 4ever Must have been a terrifying time over the last few weeks, but you seem to have coped amazingly Am sure that all the support from everyone on this thread has helped you - it's so obvious when reading through the posts how much you all care about each other. Is lovely

It's been wonderful to hear about other BFP's too, and to see that some big bellies are being grown! Blue and Barbie am so glad that things are going well for you both - am looking forward to hearing about the new arrivals, some more imminent than others!

Am thinking I might have to come back here more often so that a little of the luck rubs off on me Although I don't have enough much time to read through and catch up with all the news I do try when I get the chance. Can completely relate to feeling very down about ttc not happening, and it gives me a boost of hope when it does happen to one of you...

Take care all of you, and hello to any of you that I haven't already met May the BFP's keep coming...

4everhopeful · 01/12/2009 11:05

jools I dissapeared the other day when I read your depression sympton list and it was my sympton list and it hit me like an express train. So I ran away to try and sort myself out and then this happens. I so admire how you are tackling everthing that life hasthrown at you this year.xx

Do I take asprin now? I think I last had af on 6th Nov, so counting that as day 1 I am on day 26 to which anyone else would be laughable but I have a short 24 day cycle.
boobs hurt and are doing a dolly parton impression, mega hungry and feel sick. Strong line this morning.

mlsthank you too.x

Lionstar · 01/12/2009 10:35

Wow, can't believe I've stumbled back to the thread at such a momentous moment - CONGRATULATIONS mermaid . And breath woman!! I hope it doesn't make Xmas too stressful, but I bet it will make the day more special, having your own little secret snuggled up inside

I've just been catching up with the thread and having a little chuckle, you ladies are so funny. I especially liked the discussion of little boy bits, I have to say I find them a bit trickier than girls. And there so ARE folds, they hide poo all round their balls. And they love to pee EVERYWHERE, especially when your back is turned! My lowest moment came one morning when DD had come in to me during the night (and DP moved out ) and she peed in our bed (shocking - she NEVER does that, but did have a cough poor thing). So I had stripped the bed and cleaned the mattress topper and hung out to dry, THEN was changing DS on the bed (on change mat on top of bare mattress). Got to the end of the change before I noticed a big wet patch on our (expensive, organic) mattress some way off the change mat!! I couldn't quite believe he had managed to pee so far, and without me noticing!! Unless the roof had sprung a leak it must have been him! Had to wash the mattress down and leave to air, but didn't dare confess to DP, having DD pee in the bed was bad enough (it was his side too )

Just want to let Buddha know I'm thinking of you and little Ewan. Hope things are getting better and he is over the worst, poor little lad. Can't wait to hear some news.

Waves blue and young Ellis, hope you're getting lots of bed and cuddle time in.

4ever so happy at your news too, really brightened up my day.

neeko, have fun with the Xmas cards. Have just done a bunch with DD and she had a ball with the Xmas stickers, gold stars and glitter glue. They are all masterpieces and deserve framing!

Ooops, sorry have to go, Arlo is waking up - I only put him down 10 mins ago , he loves to sleep on mummy! Love to everyone else

bluesatinsash · 01/12/2009 10:33

OMG Mermaid

Deep breaths - it may be a shock but it is FABULOUS news

Get thee down to a chemist for folic acid and aspirin now, get on the phone to your consultant, get 4Ever to send you some of her cotton wool (I'm sure she doesn't need it all now), maybe Iggy has some sand spare that you can bury your head in.

You are Mermaidthecalm, Mermaidthesane, Mermaidofthewisewords You WILL be fine.

How far on do you think you are ?

Please permit me another on your behalf and have my hand to squeeze x x
