Dh just home from work (yay!) Told him about the doppler & cos consultant was against the idea for fear of causing more anxiety, (?!? ) Dh initially not enthusiastic but read your post to him Vjay & he seems more into the idea now.. My consultant is a very cautious by the book non endorsing kind of guy, good as he is.. We see him on thurs, will mention again.. I kno after my stress yest, id love to have it today, thats what brought Dh round, bless him he just doesnt want me worrying but knows this would hopefuly ease anxiety not cause more....

4ever I used the doppler everytime I was worried about not feeling Ajay kick. I found the heartbeat everytime and found it very reassuring . I would say I used it a lot to begin with but as the pg progressed and Ajay kicked more and more I used it less. You are very welcome to have it if you want it, it was the best thing I bought because it kept me very reassured

Ooh early scans good mermaid, less time for pre scan weebling, i will be squeezin ur hand tight, like vjay says just knowing u are all sending positive vibes genuinely helps me feel better & im sure it works for baby too! Very reassuring to hear ur aversion to smells & general yuckiness!.....Vjay talkin of crossing bits ill be doin so for those results hon, sure youll pass with flyin colours cos u certainly worked hard enough Im tempted to say yes to the doppler, was it easy to use & how often did u? Cons reckoned can cause more worry if u cant work it!? ...... Neeko so pleased lo has been showing off football skills to reassure mummy less than a week of work left for you! ..... Got in a state yest tryin to do too much, i went to next, whsmiths, m&s, & sainsburys to meet dh, then dash to bf ds birthday, then pop to mums to say bye to sis as shes back to worcs til boxing day, got fish & chips on way home, was yuk, dh & i sat down about 9pm, i was done in & stressed had done too much as used to my bedrest & could feel pains & twinges, might of been trapped wind & feel ok now but as per usual, roll on mondays scan!

Worrying's normal and at least it passes the time. Plan something nice (and non-smell related)to do this weekend

I was a very strange one in this pregnancy, as I loved the smell of cars, air fresheners, even bathroom cleaning sprays but the fact that some smells are getting to you already is a good sign....

Hello ladies, hope everyone is well.

A very quick post from me. I really hope that if hoping is lurking she wont mind, but rather than keep it for ourselves, I really wanted to share it. When hoping sent me that knitted hat that you guys have seen Saara wear in the photo, she also sent another hat (green and cream) with matching mittens. But as Saara was such a big baby at birth, the hat unfortunately doesnt fit her head. So rather than have it just sitting there in the drawer, I wondered if anyone else would like it instead.

I really hope that if hoping is lurking, she's OK with me passing it on to someone else on here.

blue and mm hope you're taking good care of yourselves, not long to go, so excited for you guys!

neeko hope you've felt some movement by now. Otherwise I would echo what blue said and pop over to a clinic for a check

I've had a busy week with Saara, and DH and I have been down with a cold. I had Saara wieghed on Monday and she was 11 pounds, 11 ounces.
