Thought as there was 955 messages on our old thread that we should have a new one again, its very annoying scrolling down to the bottom.

{grin}

Welcome to our new thread girls.

Should we put our stats again???
saves us thread hopping, and we have had newbies.
I will try and copy some from the old thread.

xena - so pleased the inspection went ok, horrible aren't they.
I can't say i know how you feel about wanting another baby, but i hope you come to a decision.
You need to sit down and think of the reasons why you do and don't.

Lottiwlou - are you with us today?? how are you feeling?

OP posts:
HellKat · 21/06/2005 11:25

Glad the inspection went well to

HellKat · 21/06/2005 11:25

Xena- I know what you mean. I think if it was'nt for ds2, and wanting him to have a brother or sister, I doubt I would. How are you?

Xena · 21/06/2005 11:17

Hello all
The Ofsted visit yesterday went well (it was a safety inspection). She called back last night to say she would be coming to do my inspection in the next 2 weeks!!
Took my last pill yesterday so Af will be due this week, I'm not sure what to do I don't know if I want to get pg anymore??

HellKat · 21/06/2005 09:29

Morning all.
Spending the afternoon in the garden (still trying to brown). Already got the housework done so today can be relaxing.
Still no sign or symptoms of af. Hmmmmm. Ah well guess she'll show when she's ready.
How is everyone?

Diddle · 21/06/2005 09:09

GOOD MORNING!!!
Hello everyone, hope you're ok and ready to enjoy another sunny day.

Evening ladies

Quite a bit to read today.

Lottielou-hope you are feeling much better and have made up with DP-MEN it is day 21 after my MC and I still find it a struggle to speak to my DH. They really are from Mars!

Maddyd-hope your DS is recovering-I have to be careful with suncream as it gives me prickly heat (not nice)-my DD only had a slight heat rash. If my AF takes another 55 days to show I am going to kill myself as that wouldn't be until August and I still haven't passed everything yet! Arrghh!!! I WANT TO BE PG BY THEN! (lots of feet stamping)

Cori-good luck for your test results.

Titania-lovely to hear from you-you know where we are if you need us {{{x}}}

Love and hugs to everyone. It is the final of Celeb Love Island so I'm off to watch it and do some ironing.

Until tomorrow
x

Hi everyone, Havent been around for a few days. My birhtday was on Saturday. We went to the 'Taste of London food festival' in Regents Park. We had a great time, weather was stunning. DH met Gary Rhodes , JC Novelli and Michel Roux Jnr. On Sunday we went to local lido and had a picnic for fathers day. We really had a perfect weekend.
Have a hospital appointment with consultant on Wednesday to explain all the test results. Hopefully will be given the all clear. AF due on Friday can start seriously trying next month hopefully.
So whats the news here.?Any positive tests?

Diddle · 20/06/2005 16:36

xena - good luck with ofsted hope it all goes well.
Lottielou - hope you're blubbing has made you feel a little better. I think maddyd is just trying to be sensible and not get you're hopes up, she coudl be right, and all the exercise and training you have been doing could also have slowed af down. But i do believe there is still hope, you'll get you're BFP eventually.

Just got back from the dentist, had an injection in my gum, now i can hardly talk, i look really daft. Can't eat for an hour and it will be numb for 3HOURS!!! that ages. feel like an elephant, not that i know what they feel like.

OP posts:
Diddle · 20/06/2005 11:16

it didn't work lottie, no cat from you

OP posts:
LunarSea · 20/06/2005 10:59

Maddyd - they had Banana Boat in Boots last year, but I haven't seen it this year (but I'm working somewhere different now and it's a much smaller branch). I got mine from one of the large brances of Tesco (Tesco extra). There are some other PABA-free ones out there, and they will usually say so on the label (which tells you how common PABA allergies are) - you just need to read all teh labesl carefully to make sure you've found one of them.

Lottielou · 20/06/2005 10:42

Maddyd - to be honest it did upset me a little but at the same time brought me back to earth i guess. I was approx 1 1/2 weeks late but i didn't test once before so just got a BFP straight away. All this maybe in my head i know but i am very very rarely late and always get pains when i am due but i have only had one tiny cramping pain last friday but then nothing at all. Perhaps am clutching at straws.

Xena · 20/06/2005 10:36

Sorry your having a bad day LLou

Must get of the computer as Ofsted (arghhhhhhh) will be here soon.

maddyd · 20/06/2005 10:33

No Lottie im not saying your not, im just saying its not that high percantage that would test negative at this stage. I would say if you did one of those early tests and it came up negative then the chances are pretty low of you being pregnant. Sorry to sound negative i dont mean to, i hope i havnt upset you further. Its just we get so hopfull dont we???????

How early did you get a posotive test last time???

Lottielou · 20/06/2005 10:23

Oh i have had a good cry, i cant stop tho! I tell ya, i look like exactly how i feel! Good job my boss isn't in today!

Lottielou · 20/06/2005 10:22

Well i am completely feeling like my head is going to explode!
Maddyd - So you think that i'm not then? But i thought that sometimes you can still get a BNF a while after getting BFN's? Sorry, i got my hopes up last week when Tabs said that she had got 2 weeks of BFN before her BFP showed. Arghhhh, i dont know!
Diddle - I have Cat you, let me know if you dont get it and i'll text you. You know i said about the crystal thing, well i have been asking it all morning, i have it clutched in my hand and every time it says YES! I asked it loads of other questions, i even asked it if Spacecadet and Rach Rog was, it got that right too! I have asked it a million and one questions trying to catch it out but every time it's right. I have even asked it questions i do not know the answer to and then looked them up! How wierd! I have booked into the docs tomo at 10.20am to have a chat! I feel like a big huge pile of crap!

maddyd · 20/06/2005 10:22

Lunar it tok 55 days for mine to come so please dont go buying loads of pg tests like i did . My Ds is alletrgic to lts of foods so its highly likeley the sun cream you suggest would be better. Do they sell it in boots etc??

Lottie how are you doing, have you had a good cry yet?

Diddle · 20/06/2005 10:00

lottie - don't forget to cat me you're address. or if its easier cat you're work address, then you'll get it and be able to cash ti on your lunch, maybe. do it now, quick quick

hi lunarsea - sounds like you have a nice week planned, enjoy it. AF will come when she's ready, might take a while you're body has been through a lot. I know the waiting it hard but it will come.

OP posts:
Diddle · 20/06/2005 09:57

oh lottie - i'm so sorry you're feeling so rough. was filling up just readng you're message (i'm far too emotional) if you want to cry just cry maddyd is rright it will make you feel so much better.
You never know there is still a chance, until af arrives there is always hope.
I'm sending you big big hugs (((((((hugs)))))))

Morning to everyone else, Spacecadet great to hear from you, very pleased you're scan went well.

Have braved the baby programmes on Uk Living this morning, not sure if its a good idea. The tears are coming, when will i be ready to watch these programmes again. I used to love them, i am so interested in pregnancy and childbirth, I always wanted to be a midwife.
I also got a little sunburn over the weekend, never though i would need suncream. Got a lovely scopp round my neck of red, will look great with my bikini on Wednesday. Got so much to do.

OP posts:
LunarSea · 20/06/2005 09:37

maddyd - allergies to suncreams are actually very common. The usual cause is an ingredient called PABA (acronym for something far more complicated) - so try looking for a brand which actually states it's PABA free. I get one made by "Banana Boat" for my ds, who reacts to even most of the ones which claim to be hypo-allergenic.

m/c + 29 days now, and no sign yet of anything getting to normal AF wise, although it looks like the blood counts etc might be improving a bit at last as I've managed to stay up until a lot later than ds's bedtime over the last few days. And I've only got to work 2 days this week, and then we're going down to Devon for 4 nights, ending up with a friend's wedding on Saturday.
