Thought as there was 955 messages on our old thread that we should have a new one again, its very annoying scrolling down to the bottom.

{grin}

Welcome to our new thread girls.

Should we put our stats again???
saves us thread hopping, and we have had newbies.
I will try and copy some from the old thread.

Hi Maddy - generally I try to be relaxed and think about the statistics which would make it quite unlikely to have another m/c now, but most days I've had a moment or two of worry, particularly as I've had virtually no symptoms so far to re-assure me that there really is a baby growing inside me!

Still can't relax totally even after today, but think I'll be better still after my next scan in 3 weeks time.

I don't think I've actually been as paranoid as I thought I'd be though, so hopefully that will be the same for the rest of you too.

Diddle · 27/06/2005 13:39

Good luck maddyd - hope the testing goes well tomorrow.
Hi to everyone else.

Good Luck Tabs, is everyday a worry or are you quite laid back.

Im 7 days dpo so can do an ultra early test tomorrow. Im not expecting a posotive reult at all. But you never know.

Wishing Chair if i dont fall this month than all of us on this thread apart from the pregnant ones will be merrily bdinaway. It will be a quiet thread. I know Diddle and lottie and hellkat awill be nearing Ovulation time now.

Tabs · 27/06/2005 13:32

Afternoon ladies. Just thought I'd pop on and let you know that I had my early scan today, and all appears fine so far.

I'm 8+3, which agrees exactly with my dates from Fertility Friend. Baby wasn't very clear as my bladder wasn't full enough, but saw its little heart beating away.

Last baby died at 8+2, so hopefully getting past that is another good omen for this pregnancy.

Hope all of you are doing ok, and good luck for testing tomorrow maddy.

Cori - hoping to get your attention! There's a thread about a meet up in St Albans on Friday and people are wondering if you are going. Do let us know!

HellKat · 27/06/2005 12:23

Sounds so familiar!
I'm great thanks. relieved that af has come and back to normal (have'nt had one since Jan) so it now means back to ttc a.s.a.p.

wishingchair · 27/06/2005 12:21

Hi Hellkat - I'm doing pretty good really. Just a bit sad. To be honest, it is always hard when af is here - I get v.hormonal at the best of times so memories of the m/c are worse at this time. But on the whole, being really positive - so grateful for my amazing dd, getting the house just as we want it, etc etc. (Oh and trying to do some work inbetween all this and mn )

How are you?

HellKat · 27/06/2005 11:48

Good to see you Wish! I'll be dreading it when Nov 5th comes along (that's my due date). How are you?

wishingchair · 27/06/2005 11:43

Hi everyone - been lurking for a while. Feeling a bit sad at the mo - due date is approaching in a couple of weeks. Know exactly what you mean Maddy - am now ready to try to get pg again but am so nervous. What if it I lose the next one, what if it happens even later, etc.

Wish you could get pg then fast forward to the point when a healthy baby is put in your arms!

But got af at the mo so am happy about that - will begin ttc non-stop as soon as it ends! Am hoping it'll happen straight away then I don't have months of wondering, testing etc. Yeah right - can dream though!

HellKat · 27/06/2005 11:38

Awww hun! How long since you ov?

maddyd · 27/06/2005 11:32

Me bragging about my bacon sandwich and i couldnt eat it. Feel sick with nerves.

HellKat · 27/06/2005 11:12

Lol always the way huh? Everytime mine does something nice, I ask him what he's after. On the whole though he is a darling most of the time.
After the last mc, I was the same. Tbh if it was'nt for wanting a brother or sister for little one I probably would'nt bother. Just try to prepare for a bfn that way if it's bfp you'll be pleasantly surprised. {{{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}} for having a day. I know how you feel hun. it'll get better and we'll all be pg and big and round craving bizarre concoctions!

maddyd · 27/06/2005 10:55

Thanks Hellkat. What will be will be. Im a bit sad today about the mc. All that effort ttcing and then to misarry. Its just not fair. I dont want to put myself through all this heartache again. If i am pg that will be great, but im so scared of miscarrying again. Thats why this thread is great as i know you all know exactly waht i mean. !!!!

You lot moaning about teenage children earlier and mine has just made me a cuppa and a bacon sandwich. She is obvuiously after something

HellKat · 27/06/2005 10:41

Aww that's good. Fingers crossed all the same Maddy!

maddyd · 27/06/2005 10:34

She is doing well actually not sick with it so thats a relief. looks a state though.

Im ok, gonna test tomorrow as got some ultra early tests. Setting myself up for heartache though as i dont think i am pregnant.

HellKat · 27/06/2005 10:32

I'm great thanks hun. Awww bless her. How is she? How are you?

maddyd · 27/06/2005 10:13

Hiya Hellkat, how you doing? Im working at mo, eldest has taken kis to park for some fresh air as DD is going stir crazy with being cooped up insede.

HellKat · 27/06/2005 09:09

Morning Maddy!

maddyd · 27/06/2005 08:29

MORNING

HellKat · 27/06/2005 07:56

Cori- Meant to say great to see you here!!! Just waiting for my first af (since mc) to subside then back in the saddle! Waheyyy Here's to lots of us becoming pg next month!

HellKat · 27/06/2005 07:45

Titania- Big congrats hun but be careful. As what Xena said. I had my 4th mc in April, had d&c to make sure "everything" was gone. Started ttc'ing again and thought I'd become pg again (albeit rather quickly) as all my pg symptoms came back, including leaking boobs, headaches etc. Did 10 pg tests alltogether (including hosp one) and all bfp's. Dr confirmed it, booked all appts etc but started to bleed. Thought it was mc no.5 but a scan showed it was "Retained products". Had d&c yet again a few wks back. I really hope you are pg hun but just a word of caution just incase.
{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} for the dr's today. Here's to hearing the great news that you are pg!!
Maddy- Awwww your poor little princess!!! That comment had me saying awww bless at the computer. What a little trooper. Thatnk goodness it's not as hot as it was otherwise she'd be feeling so much worse. Give her a big "You're a brave girl" hug from me.
How's everyone else? About to clean here and try to wake up a bit. Late nights kill me now. God I feel old

cori · 26/06/2005 23:44

Hi everybody,
Just checking. I hope everyone has a had nice weekend.
It turned nice and sunny here this afternoon, went to Bekonscott model village, very sweet.

Well I finally got the results of all my blood tests last Wednesday. They couldnt find any reason for the miscarriage, which is good news. There was a possibility of having had some infection called cyclomeglovirus (sp) but they said it was unlikely. They also told me that the baby was a little boy. It really helps to know, it has an identity now.

So I have finally have been given the all clear to TTC again. AF is due on Tuesday.....so the anxiety, hope, tears, fun, disapointment, and ultimatly Joy begin again.

Diddle · 26/06/2005 22:46

HELLO, remember me, you´re not very talkative are you. think i must be the chatterbox of the group.
DH says a drunken hello, he´s had too much wine

congrats, titania, great news.

OP posts:
Titania · 26/06/2005 22:26

oh right. ok. thanks. am going doctors in the morning so i guess i will get it all sorted then. Am off to bed now ladies. Feel rough!

Night Night x x

HumphreysCorner · 26/06/2005 22:19

Night girls

Titania-Xena has a point as 4 weeks after my MC I tested and there is still a positive line. Make sure you make an appointment with your Doctor so it can be confirmed. {{x}} to you.

Sweet dreams and plenty of sleep so we can face the challenges of the week ahead (my 2nd and hopefully final rescan on Wednesday).

Hugs
x

Xena · 26/06/2005 17:38

Titania It could be really positive news but be carefull sometimes you can get a BFP after a m/c if your hormones are high. I hope that you will be celebrating though.
