Has anyone tried using Evening Primrose oil to extend Luteal phase? If so how much did you take and when?

Woohoo Vix! Congratulations! How about you Growing? Did you cave in yet? Im not sure whats going on - was so sure af was coming yesterday morning but after a couple of tiny bits of brown cm, now nothing, cramps stopped, not a dicky bird. Perhaps I was wrong and it was implantation after all? Or is that wishful thinking?? Think am going to try and hang on until Friday....

mrsZaC · 08/12/2009 22:11

hey ladies, congrats for all BFP's

plant so happy you finally got your +!!! can't belive it too so long, very pleased for you

so this is day whatever... still no AF...very sore nipples the last few days which I've never had before so hopefully a sign... a little BFP for christmas would be nice

thinking I might test tomorrow.. hard to tell as I have no idea what CD I'm on! as STILL no AF after coming off the pill... patience is a virtue as they say.

lots of special christmas dust to the August bus, come on jelly beans you can do it!!

nymphadora · 08/12/2009 20:58

Congrats Vix

vix206 · 08/12/2009 20:04

I know its not big or clever but I peed in a cup earlier with an internet cheapie and I got a faint but unmissable BFP!!!!!!!

I'm only 9DPO so it is sooo early and I am trying not to be excited but it not every day you get what you've been wishing for!

Going to repeat test in morning with another IC and then on Thursday go and get a digital one just to be 100% sure. Not sure what to do with myself now, DH is refusing to share in my excitement saying it is too early but I can't help it!

lucybrad · 08/12/2009 18:43

stuffedmk are you getting any symptoms yet? I must admit to POAS earlier !! way early!!! BFN though only to be expected.

vix206 · 08/12/2009 17:40

I'm still here, waiting to test with very painful boobs! But I'm not complaining I am really hoping they are a sign. If I'm not pregnant I'll be going to the doctors because I have never known pain in my bbs like this before, honestly I feel like they have been kicked or trampled all over. It even hurts to breathe sometimes, and gets worse as the day goes on.

Fingers crossed for everyone testing over the next few days!

growingbump2 · 08/12/2009 14:10

Will keep you updated, I have to test before Friday anyway as I have works Christmas party which will involve much wine I think!

lovesaruby · 08/12/2009 14:08

Ooo lots of luck if you do - Ill have to see what happens with the spotting I guess, tho nothing since first thing this morning and cramping has stopped too, so if all clear I may not be able to hold out much longer!

growingbump2 · 08/12/2009 13:53

Hi ruby, am desperate to poas, just put christmas tree up and need new lights so have to go to out, am tempted to buy and test but if I buy one I will use it and it is still 4 days before I should but then I've never been one for sticking to the rules! What about you, fingers crossed for us!

lovesaruby · 08/12/2009 13:17

Hi growing, we are on the same cycle day I think. I though af was on her way as have a bit of cramping and spotting this morning, but nothing since so now Im beginning to wonder? Still 3 days off of af being due, Im probably deluding myself though. How long are you going to leave it before you poas?

growingbump2 · 08/12/2009 12:29

Afternoon all, Congrats to all the BFPs! Wow Plantaseed, that is great, can't believe you had to wait so long! I only have 3 days to wait to POAS, don't have symptoms of pregnancy or AF, so really have no idea! Is anyone else due to POAS soon?

lovesaruby · 08/12/2009 08:10

Looks like Im about to jump off the bus Been feeling really crampy since last night and a tiny bit of spotting so Im pretty certain the old witch is round the corner (Had implantation bleed with dd2 and dont rememeber feeling this crampy with it, so dont think its that). The kids are both off school, ones got a rotten cold and chesty cough and the other has conjunctivitus. Fun. Feel a chocolate fest coming on...Poppy, great news about your dog! Manchester, hope you get some sort of answer soon..

PoppyIsApain · 07/12/2009 20:49

Wow my dog looks like he is going to be ok, no break for me!

manchestermummy · 07/12/2009 20:09

Wow, so many BFPs since I last looked!

I'm still here, CD51 (!!!), about 20 BFNs and no sign of AF. Went to the docs last week who said it was probably stress (I've been a lot more stressed in my life!) and it was normal for af to be two weeks late. (I've worked out my cycle length is about 35 days).

I'm in total despair and don't want to even POAS as the answer will be BFN again and I just don't know what to do! Doc also offered me a pregnancy blood test but I don't want to go as I'm sure that will be BFN again...

Really sorry to hear about AF's arrival Points and asianbabe.

Loujalou · 07/12/2009 18:29

Stuffed sending you a very un-mumsnet hug. Sounds like you are not having much fun with your DH. These men are weird. My hubby is still keen despite it taking so long but its hard work keeping up the momentum.

Sorry to see all the people who have been caught by the wicked witch or Xmas monster (not sure what Xmas nickname we can give the witch).

stuffedmk · 07/12/2009 16:54

It's getting to that time....you know....the time where I lose my sanity lol!!
Have had a couple of dizzy spells but I suffer with that occasionally anyway, usually acompanying a cold which I also have (thanks to DH). Felt a bit rough yesterday but I had the same last month and it was just a week of pmt, sent to drive me nuts.
To be honest there is not a great chance anyway as the house has been plagued by bugs and we only managed to BD once around the right sort of time but it was a couple of days before I think I ov so I am not getting hopes up.
DH has seemingly changed his mind again now, so if nothing happens this month I doubt I will be on the next bus. He seems fine with the idea that I could possibly be pregnant but has gone back to being 'careful'
Not a happy bunny right now!!
