Just told DH he is on a new schedule - every night til I ovulate and looked horrified . Am on day 9 and think might ovulate on Thursday / Friday so he should be able to cope with that.

Can't believe it is cycle 7 for us now, I know that isn't long in the scheme of things but I waited so long to be where I wan't to be in my career, on the property ladder, financially secure etc etc that I already feel like i've been waiting for ages DP is getting fed up too, we've bought those Wellman & Wellwoman supplements now to see if that will help. Am also going to go back to Clearblue OPKs this month and am considering buying preseed.

I hope you ladies don't mind me having a moan, i'm such a together lady in every other way but TTC has a way of driving you nuts! I cried about it for the first time this month and DP was a bit Can't fault him though, he is very supportive and I am lucky to have him.

Not dumb at all poppy I've been trying to explain it to brainy DH for weeks...

You can only actually conceive if there is an ovum waiting, ie. you've ovulated in the last few hours. The reason it's your fertile 'week' is that sperm can live for several days, so this week's sperm might fertilise Saturday's egg, if you see what I mean. So go to it girl .

Dumb question alert, In the fertile week can you concieve or do you really only have a chance when ovulating? im abit confused now,a chart i did said i was fertile from monday to friday and due to ovulate saturday, does this sound about right? Also i did my stats abit wrong, im on CD 10

Hi all, just updating the list with me removed. Will jump back on when AF arrives properly and I can say I'm CD1. The odd spotting has stopped and AF has not yet turned up, but I expect she will.

I've already had a caffeinated coffee and ordered a Clear Blue fertility monitor this am. Hubbie will think I'm mental, but then he doesn't believe I'm as old as I am (probably a compliment). Off for a long weekend in York this Friday and fully intend to eat lots of Unsuitable Foods!

Ok. This spotting has been going on for 4 days with no sign of AF. I'm going to hop off the bus until things sort themselves out. I'll be back!

following my last message, do you need to have a really strong line for the ovulation stick to be positive??? anyone?? it's one of those cheap ones from the internet.

it's really faint the line, you can see it only in good light!

I think once or twice every 2 days would be enough to catch an egg queenmercury - but with 2 little ones already that might be more difficult!! (hey we are on the same cd)

i'm anxiously waiting for a positive on my ovulation sticks and today got a very faint line, not sure if that means anything or not.

I have been BD all weekend and will continue to do so all week(by the way,how much BD is too much or too little in your opinion all these websites are so conflicting?), bought the wee sticks,I've got everything crossed that I conceive in the next few days. It's my first cycle trying and I'm so impatient so is DP.

I'm going for a more Bonfire Night themed name as well. My Halloween was fab, went to a party and drank lots of punch. Am back home now (was away visiting a friend) and looking forward to AF arriving and leaving and the resuming of baby making attempts. Oh yes.

Did another test this evening as figured there's nothing like testing to make AF arrive. Still BFN. Mostly I'm freaking out that this long spotting lead in to AF is a sign that something is wrong with my fertility!

Ahhh, Kaylo's boring - especially with bonfire night approaches....
