I am a reformed woman... although only on CD11 I'm not going to spot symptoms either

JamieJay · 13/11/2009 16:26

Mind if I sneak on adn hide in the corner??
We're not officially trying but haven't use any protection this month so waiting and seeing, CD20 for me today.

I think this is cycle 7 for us, fell pregnant on cycle 5 (May), had a miscarriage but tried again for one cycle in August and then took a break.

A couple of names I remember from before - TeaFan you were especially supportive of me last cycle following the MC [waves]

UmBongo · 13/11/2009 16:13

What, I know I have had no internet for a week, but have I landed on a different planet, teafan not peeing on sticks? Good luck mabh with the new monitor, I am about at the end of my cycle so I thought I would lurk on here as well as clinging on to the July bus! [waves]

TeaFan · 13/11/2009 15:57

Lol mabh forgot you have your fancy monitor now, I have high hopes for you this cycle We are cycle buddies this month so you'll have to let me know when you get your green light... although i'm supposed to be having a relaxed month where I don't POAS or anything

bunnygirl80 · 13/11/2009 15:31

Hello.....can I hop over here from the July bus?

Here's my stats
TTC#1 Cycle 2 UCL29 CD1

congrats butidid sending some sticky thoughts your way

mabh · 13/11/2009 14:57

Congratulations queen

custard cream, butidid ? Perhaps a whole load of ?

bigmuther definately get to the GP and get it on file. Get those tests done.

I'm on day 11 now. My fancy new monitor hasn't given me the green light yet (something else to worry about), but given the dates I think we'll have to go for a shagfest weekend...

I'd like my monitor to give me permission, though???!!!

mrsZaC · 13/11/2009 14:34

Thank you so much I really hope so

TeaFan · 13/11/2009 13:57

Congratulations Butidid am sending sticky vibes your way

Bigmuther I can't offer any advice i'm afraid but i'm sorry you are going through this, sounds like a trip to the GP would be a good idea so at least there will be something on your record.

Today's stats including mrsZaC, here's hoping it will be first time lucky for you

Sorry i do not want to bring the mood down it is great that the BFP seem to be coming now, just looking for a bit of advice.

My AF started on monday bang on time , on a normal cycle i have quite a heavy bleed for 3 days which i had followed by 2days of lighter bleeding.yesterday afternoon had some quite bad stomach cramps followed with a heavy bleed with a few small clots.Thought this not normal don,t know why but this morning poas got a very faint BFP,so now wondering if i have had a early MC or is my body is playing tricks on me.If this was a early MC would my doctor be able to tell as after 2 previous MC i may be able to have tests done.

mrsZaC · 13/11/2009 13:25

best of luck! fab news

bigmuther65 · 13/11/2009 13:09

CONGRATULATIONS BUTIDID

manchestermummy · 13/11/2009 13:01

Just ordered 20 cheepo strip tests on e-bay, so when I feel like I must test (have promised myself no earlier than Monday!) it's not going to cost me an arm and a leg!

mrsZaC · 13/11/2009 12:24

Thanks TeaFan

ok so here goes... TTC#1 cycle#1 UCL? as been on pill so I'm guessing 28 days at moment. CD=22 (I think... aprox 8dpo)

It's so nice to chat to people in the same boat... especially since i can't chat to many people about it @ mo.

I feel so bad being so eager to know on my first shot at it when people have been TTC for so long...

ToffeeMuser · 13/11/2009 12:03

Hopeful congrats butidid. I hope it's a sticky one. Hold on in there tiny cells.

butidid · 13/11/2009 11:08

strong or insane...thanks for the support, jollster, much appreciated.
Hope lots of nice strong lines on sticks for the rest of you girls.

PollyPoo · 13/11/2009 11:06

A quiet 'woo hoo' butidid , go on, we'll set an alarm to wake you in the new year

randomimposter · 13/11/2009 11:04

whoops very quietly CONGRATULATIONS butIdid... prayers to you that this is sticky. You must be VERY strong to still be operating after 6MCs, you have my absolute respect x

butidid · 13/11/2009 11:00

(whisper) 'bfp'..... But had temp for 24 hours and crampy pains, 6 previous miscarriages......
I am going to bed with a packet of bisuits, wake me up in 3 months please.

randomimposter · 13/11/2009 10:25

cool - glad you agree with me.... but be prepared to pass the G&B Butterscotch when I get AF.... ...

BTW only symptom I got last time was the "pee every 10 minutes" for just one afternoon...

Loujalou · 13/11/2009 10:21

Window licking seems quite sane compared to some of the stuff I have got upto! With this TTC malarkey that is.... I think they need to get me a straight jacket.

Loujalou · 13/11/2009 10:18

Jollster I like your logic! Its got to be right. Just like me buying lots of pregnancy unfriendly things is going to help me get pregnant.

PollyPoo · 13/11/2009 10:15

Sounds like perfect logic to me Jollster!

I know what you mean Louja. When upduffed with DD I had no symptoms whatsover and was shocked as hell when I got +ive. I thought I would just 'know' when I was pregnant, but it seems not. So seeing that I don't feel pg this month and have no symptoms... !!! Or maybe I'm just insane with all this ttc

randomimposter · 13/11/2009 10:10

so, is queen our first BFP...? And who will be next? I keep tuning in for installments, even though I don't post, cos have nothing inspiring to add ...

well I guess this is my first proper 2ww... am fairly sure I didn't even OV last cycle, but there were some familiar signs this month. Think this 2ww is going to last FOREVER!!!! Planning to test NO EARLIER than 23rd Nov...

I have a horrid feeling that this TTC lark is going to be a bit like my lottery experience.... when I DO buy a ticket, which has been about ten times in total, I have this absolute belief that I'm going to win something, even if only a tenner.... and then when I don't even get a single blimmin' number I'm totally gutted!

So at the moment I'm sure I must be pg... there's a pattern. DS conceived from just 1 BD, MMC conceived from 2, have BD x3 on days 10, 12, 14 this month, therefore bound to happen.... .

ALSO.... DS conceived on sister's birthday, MMC was due date of brother's birthday... MN due date calculator says if I do get pg this month he/she would have been conceived on my other sister's birthday... SO I must be pg... ....

Loujalou · 13/11/2009 10:06

Polly my money's on you! Or Lia oh well we need some good news as am having Friday the Thirteenth-itis.

I have given up trying to second guess whether I am preggers as always get it wrong and the time I was I had no symptoms - just tearful until after wicked witch was due. So give up!

PollyPoo · 13/11/2009 09:58

Louja how dare you insinuate that we will cave and test early! It will be her!!

Lia why don't you buy some cheapies on ebay - you can 20 for about £5 and they are the ultra sensitive ones - 10miU (or whatever the letters are). Then you can spend the other £15 on wine/vodka/chocolate in preparation for commiseration/celebration!

I'm wondering if having no symptoms can be in fact be a symptom? I usually get very sore and swollen norks a week before the red witch arrives, but this month, nothing. Of course, it probably just means I am heading for a late AF and will wake tomorrow with achey tits! Day 23 now... if only I had regular cycles I'd know what to expect - last month was 23 days but that was unusually short.. gar. I said I wasn't going to do this but the madness has set in
