chulita - best of luck today

I had the WORST nights sleep ever! so surprised as was super tired & lethargic yesterday so thought I would nodd straight off, was waking up constantly during the night and couldn't get to sleep cuz I felt like I needed to pee, but didn't. Totally symptom spotting so probably all in my head! today I have strange pains in lower abdomen, well not pains, more like a dull ache.. hmmm.

hows everyone else doing today?

Chulita · 16/11/2009 08:37

floweryboots - some swear by lying down for about 20 mins afterwards (with a pillow under your hips...might be an old wives tale though!). Even if a massive gloop falls out some will stay in there
Sooooo...the day is here, little signs of things but no AF - going slowly crazy, Boots was closed yesterday so need to get DD down for her nap and then up again so I can pop down and pick something up. Cross your fingers ladies, I don't want AF to show up!

Hi All

Congrats to those who got their bfps!!!!! You must be really excited!!

I think I ovulated 9 days ago now (cycles are a bit messed up after miscarriage though) but that's what the ovulation sticks told me. Anyway on Friday I had very light, barely there spotting! Convincing myself this must be implantation bleeding I took a test this morning and BFN :-( Hoping it's just too early still.

Anyone else got a BFP?

Congrats to those with +ves. Exciting to see a couple now!

Had stayed away for a few days as DH looked like changing his mind about this month being the one to start and I was pretty miffed. Feeling chuffed to bits today those as finally got started today! Should still bee in time I think (working on average standard cycles as I'm not temping or anythign like that).

TMI comming up warning - never had sex without condoms before, how do you keep it all in, the gunk will be no good to me if it all just leaks out again?!

Hello ladies - joining the August bus as the witch visited last weekend. Only just got over the depression of her arriving so got on this bus a bit late!

Heffieanna TTC#1 Cycle 6 UCL 30-34 (??) CD 7.

Only on day 7 ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!1

nattiecake · 15/11/2009 13:12

helloo
im still here at the mo, but think i might not be on so much this month as i was obsessing a tad too much last month!! lol

Chulita · 15/11/2009 09:33

I really want to test today but don't have anything to pee on, might pop into Boots later on and see, I'm due on either today or tomorrow. I had period cramps - lower back pain in my case - on Friday, nothing yesterday and today I've got back ache again but a metallic taste in my mouth which I never get with AF so I'm all confused and going slightly mad. The weird taste has got me all hopeful but the backache is making me think AF is just round the corner...

mrsZaC · 14/11/2009 23:34

ok girls, I'll do it for you Thursday it is!

I honestly don't have a scooby do what will happen as I don't know what my normal cycle length will be off the pill, but we'll run with thursday and see what happens.

DH works away in the north sea, 2weeks away 3 weeks home, he's home Tuesday so think that's why I've been driving myself mad, no one to distract me from it all!! My birthday on Saturday so fingers crossed for the best birthday pressie EVER!!!! xxx

liahgen · 14/11/2009 23:23

polly Thursday it is then. Your not really there symptoms sound fairly promising though.

MrsZ You are due same day as myself and polly, see if you can hold off, unless of course you are sure it'll be a nice bfp that we can all smile at.

I was ok this cycle cos I knew last month we didn't have enough sex, simple as that really. I came to this month, fairly fresh and optomistic. This month, we've tried and I just know it hasn't worked again. It's been 15 months once we're into December and I know it's gonna hit hard this time.

WE'll see what the tests reveal if anything I guess.

Good luck anyone else testing over next couple of days though.

PollyPoo · 14/11/2009 23:22

Hey MrsZaC if you really can't hold off, then test tomorrow! And make sure you let us know! But if you can, I'd wait, as you will be so much more likely to get an accurate result later on. I'm due on Thurs and I will be trying to hold out til then. Go on, you can do it! Join me and Lia for POAS fest on Thursday!

mrsZaC · 14/11/2009 23:11

Hey ladies...

very tempted to test tomorrow... but I'm sure nothing will come of it... what do you think ladies, should I hold on a few days... precting that AF should arrive on Thursday but since I've only just come off the pill who knows I really admire you ladies, I'm already stuggling and it's only the first month, why oh why would I do this to myself!!

liahgen... I feel your pain, must be so hard for you, but happy at the same time for your friend I'm sure it will all work out for you soon just hang on in there x

Best of luck to all you lovely ladies!!

PollyPoo · 14/11/2009 23:08

Doh, meant UNusually long cycle!

PollyPoo · 14/11/2009 23:06

Hello Lia. I'm so glad you said that - I have a pack of FR burning their way through a drawer but I am too scared to test tomorrow! We are going to my parents for a family get-together and I just don't think I could face my 20wk pregnant little sister if I get a BFN. Of course I am over the moon for her but it is heartbreaking for me. I know what you mean - all the mums I met when I had DD started ttc for no2 after us, and all have babies now... 18 months later and I'm still suffering from empty womb syndrome, it is so upsetting. So then testing buddy... shall we wait it out until Thurs?

Well in terms of symptoms - I still have none of the usual pre-AF ones which is strange. I do have slightly tender nips and am crying at the drop of a hat. Day 24 and I'd expect mahoosive tender norks by now, as they usually get sore for the week leading up to AF. Either I'm up the duff or my body is messing with me and I'm going to have an usually long cycle this month. I'd love to get excited but I've had far too many months where I've convinced myself I'm pg and been wrong. Garr..... the waiting is so damn hard!

So who is testing next then laydeez?

liahgen · 14/11/2009 19:07

hi to newbies

congratulations to queen and ididit polly are you testing tomorrow? I'm not, I have no money and no test in the house. Let me know how you get on.....or hold off till thurs?

tea your restraint is admirable. We are being very good this month aren't we. Main reason I'm not testing is cos I know I'm not preg, just feeling same aches and pains as every other month this bloody year.

My friend who started trying 4 months after me, had her baby yesterday. Beautiful baby girl after 2 sons, and that was the completion of the family. Immensely pleased for her but too.

bunnygirl80 · 14/11/2009 16:31

I've got to dig out my thermometer and start the old temp taking. I had proper cramps yesterday and back ache today again, looks like AF is ready to make an appearance I almost bought a pg stick but I'd better just wait, save the money...even though it's driving me crazy! argh!

TeaFan · 14/11/2009 15:06

Wow, things are quiet around here today... great news about your second BFP though Queen

I'm taking evening primrose oil this month and I think it has worked, big glob of EWCM this morning so BD will commence tonight don't normally OV till CD15+ but might as well get started early just incase!!

What does your monitor say today Mabh??

randomimposter · 14/11/2009 13:12

surely MUCH too early for symptom spotting...? But it's pouring, DS has just fallen asleep in his carbonara (and now transferred to cot), what else is a girl to do....?

Was aware in the early hours of mild low level cramping.... have just (TMI ALERT) wiped after a wee and it was pinky.... On day 18... maybe 8/9 days after ovulation? And things are tasting ODD... that could just be my cooking..

HOW slowly will the next 10 days go...!!!

ToffeeMuser · 14/11/2009 11:43

Ooh, exciting Queen. Are you ready to go on the graduates list? And same to ButIDid. I will update the stats if you are, but don't want to if you're not quite ready to believe it yet!

I think I am entering the fertile zone. Really hope it works out. I'd just love to be able to tell people at Christmas.

QueenMercury · 14/11/2009 08:02

congratulations butidid, hope everything goes well for you, take care of yourself!

i've just done another test, got another faint bfp, so hopefully this is it. i'm going to wait until the day i think my af would be due to test again just to be sure.

good luck to everyone
