ok, so pretty sure I'm not preg but feel very bloated and uncomfortable since just before lunch, and i'm roasting...
This couldn't be implantation signs could it? Or just pre-mens symptoms.. Don't remember feeling like this previous months. Don't have any other symptoms... Am on day 24 of 28...

Loujalou · 19/11/2009 13:15

Hi guys... well I'm the same age as Jollster and I don't have any DCs at all...

shirazz I now have no booze at all. Fortunately it doesn't surprise people as my consumption has been dropping for a while - never fancy it any more. Unfortunately I had a major real coffee habit with a fancy machine and grinding fresh beans. I'm now on decaff - managed to find some half decen beans so I can still grind them when I want them - but it's not as nice. I'm sure that's the first thing I'll ditch if/when I can!

Fingers crossed for today's testers.

mrsZaC · 19/11/2009 11:49

thanks Shirazz, I know I'm being silly, it's my own fault for ttc straight away.. hopefully soon I'll either get a + or AF... then fingers crossed for cycle2!!

goldieandthreebears · 19/11/2009 11:30

BFN for me too again today . I know I should stop testing as still CD 24, but would expect a faint positive by now as I've been having symptoms. It's probably all in my head

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 11:25

mrsZaC sorry

I was on the pill for many many many years before dc1 and went off only for 2 cycles then tried and got preg first try. I think the modern day pill doesn't really mess you up at all according to my GP.

If there's still no AF perhaps just not showing up on the test yet?

mrsZaC · 19/11/2009 11:19

anyone who was on pill before... how long did it take for your cycle to resume as normal??! I'm impatient - grrrrr

mrsZaC · 19/11/2009 11:09

hey ladies, no go for me BFN but still no sign of AF... think it's just the reminents of my pill messing me up.. shame cuz I had so many symptoms.. dam stupid body, messin with my mind!!

So now I'm awaiting AF so I can at least get the ball rolling!!!

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 10:10

Problem is, I didn't change my lifestyle one bit when ttc for #1, and also got pg the first try which makes it quite frustrating the 2nd time around, however I think I was just lucky the first time

Loujalou · 19/11/2009 10:06

I don't drink that much alcohol anyway but when I go out which isn't very often I do tend to have a drink or two.

Not into tea / coffee so not had to do anything there.

Chulita · 19/11/2009 10:02

I just realised I should be cutting out coffee and the like, completely forgot about caffeine - am now on decaff tea/coffee and feeling a bit more virtuous
Weren't there some people holding out to POAS today?

randomimposter · 19/11/2009 09:57

oh no shirazz, ABSOLUTELY no offence taken! Just trying to brighten up others' days
x

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 09:54

Jollster - hope i didn't offend I'm not concerned about being 35 at all - more pleased that I can go to the doc earlier and I get more tests offered etc.

randomimposter · 19/11/2009 09:51

well I'll make you both feel better - I'll be 42 next birthday, so time defo not on my side!! ...
I just keep focusing on the fact that I fell with my DC and then my MMC very quickly...

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 09:51

Exactly Lou!

If your temps still up that sounds good right?

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 09:49

can I ask, does everyone do proper cutting out of things like caffine and wine etc? I've just decided this month to limit to one instant coffee a day wheras before I was having several "proper" coffee's. I'm holding out hope that it's the magic thing I needed to do I have also cut down of wine consumption considerably - though my 'user name' doesn't reflect that!

Loujalou · 19/11/2009 09:47

That is what the NHS is for to help us - I am never really sick so this is payback.

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 09:46

Can't keep up this shag-a-thon forever at my age

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 09:45

Mine is 11.5 months and such a joy I've just turned 35... eek but i'm going to the GP after this cycle - even if dh thinks I'm nuts!

Loujalou · 19/11/2009 09:43

19 months. You?

Loujalou · 19/11/2009 09:43

Shirazz fortunately / unfortunately I am just over 30... They wouldn't know and there is a lovely doctor at my surgery..... I feel a little white lie coming on.

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 09:42

Don't give up, we'll all get there in the end! how old is your dc1 lou

Shirazz · 19/11/2009 09:40

Lou I know how you feel. I'm in a similar situation. Very very grateful for my lovely dc1 but desperate for dc2 and i'm only on month 5. I keep reading stats and I know it's perfectly normal and all that to take more than several months, still, it's such a let down every month and if one more person tells me to stop thinking about it!!!
If you are over 35 you can go to the doctor at the 6th cycle try point otherwise it's 12 months, but having said that, if you are very stressed about it all how would they know how long you've been trying?
