Arghh got my doc's appointment in 20 mins, just went to get one and the receptionist said next week on the one day i worked, went outside, nearly fainted, again, stormed back in and cried like a baby and amazingly she made a free appointment appear for an hour later

shelleee · 24/11/2009 16:16

hi everyone and congrats to all with BFPS im on cd25 now and im not feeling any symptoms and i moved house two weeks ago so we have been really busy so i havent had alot of time to think about ttc although in the back of my mind i was thinking maybe having lots to do would help the whole situation , but im not very hopeful , but i will have to wait a few days and find out if AF arrives ,,,,,,

nymphadora · 24/11/2009 15:52

bigmuther/Ruby me too really knocked tme for a while

Just about back to normal now

nymphadora · 24/11/2009 15:48

Friend has just had a baby today, am so excited about meeting him!

It's strange cos this is the one person I don't feel jealous of. I think it's because she has always been pg or with a baby since I have known her and I see it as part of being her if that makes sense!

lovesaruby · 24/11/2009 15:43

bigmuther - really sorry to hear this happened to you too - my first experience of anything other than +tive tests followed by textbook pregnancies. Ill keep a close eye on things incase ov happens a bit earlier. Hope this cycle is the one for you!

bigmuther65 · 24/11/2009 15:35

Hi lovesaruby experienced the very same thing this month
Think it did mess up my dates a bit, ovulated earlier than expected so nearly missed the opportunity

lovesaruby · 24/11/2009 14:34

Mabh - Im one of those who did a disappearing act - got a feint +ive on Sat 14th (due to dh going on and on at me to test, if I dont poas then he would bla bla bla) but then started to bleed and the following day was sadly dd1's birthday so had to spend the day with hoards of family and more than enough hyped up 5 year olds. So, after that went of to lick my wounds, but am now back and on day 11 of cycle 3 (if Im right to count first day of bleeding as day 1?). Big congtrats to all those who have had bfp's while Ive been gone, how lovely!

liahgen · 24/11/2009 13:20

I'm still sulking here, been reading and good to hear about the BFP's. I'm sure we'll all get a turn soon.

Nothing to say, got docs tomorrow to talk about my blood test results so hopefully she'll be able to shed some light or tell me to forget it.

plant Test with a decent test, go on, you know you want to. Good luck

nymphadora · 24/11/2009 12:44

Thats me too mabh jealous but happy for people too!

i must be ov about now although I could be a bit out. So we are just going for it as much as I can drag DH to bed

And making sure he doesnt forget the zinc

mabh · 24/11/2009 12:05

We should definately all promise to post any BFPs.. it's very encouraging and always cheers me up a bit, even if I am a bit .

I think I'm on day 22 today, so 9 to go. I am getting very grumpy in the last two weeks as I am on month 4 (/5??) and lack of anything is finally beginning to convince me that the horrible statistics about conceiving past something-ludicrously-young are true. I suppose I always believed they were true, just that I might be an exception. Bah.

bigmuther65 · 24/11/2009 12:03

Well think i am on the 2ww almost sure i ovulated on 13cd,don,t normally ovulate till about 16/17 maybe the chemical pg might have messed it up a bit.Had a spontaneous shag on CD10/12 so maybe had a few swimmers left

Congratulation to everyone who has had a BFP

Im of now to start rocking in a corner

Cazzr · 24/11/2009 11:49

Think I might be about to join the back of the bus, or jump off. Got a cracking headache which is telling me AF is on her way. Pretty much clockwork and today is the day. :/

Not decided wether to wait till new year or keep going.

Anyone had a baby due when their dc1 was about to start reception year? Worrying it might be too much disruption and waiting another month would be sensible..?

Muser · 24/11/2009 11:49

Oops, I see PlantASeed did update the stats. Man I'm still ages away from testing.

Muser · 24/11/2009 11:48

Maybe people forget about the bus? If you're not in the last week before testing and able to crazy symptom spotting there isn't a lot to say. Then you forget you were ever on the bus and don't come back.

I promise if I get a BFP I will come back and tell you all! Now would someone like to do today's stats so I can see how far I am from going insane testing?

nymphadora · 24/11/2009 11:37

I did search out a couple and have seen fangolina around but most didnt post again.

mabh · 24/11/2009 11:35

nymph go girl!

mabh · 24/11/2009 11:34

I wonder if the people who have 'disappeared' have had a BFP and charged off to the pg/ante-natal threads without telling us, or have only stuck with the forum for a couple of weeks? Certainly I sometimes find my lack of a pg dispiriting and I wonder why I'm still here torturing myself.. then someone makes me laugh .

Shirazz · 24/11/2009 11:04

Yeah that's what i've just been obsessing over.... but they weren't really pains as such - more a dull ache, and do you even get implantation pains?

MrsZaC - this might interest you....

PlantASeedWatchItGrow · 24/11/2009 10:51

Shirazz could they be implantation pains??

nymphadora · 24/11/2009 10:46

July had loads on that disappeared. I'm still wondering what happened to fangolina she was posting but not on that board.

mabh will get on to DH

Shirazz · 24/11/2009 10:45

congrats to all with the positives!

Plant I'm waiting to test - now 9dpo and those wierd cramps I over analysed felt have now gone?

PlantASeedWatchItGrow · 24/11/2009 10:41

I am going crazy. Want to test again, but don't think I can get out today to get into town to get a cheap test. Have chemists nearby but they are so expensive!!

I can definitely 'feel' my boobs IYKWIM?? Am tired, but I have been having late nights, so it could easily be down to that? I just really don't know whats going on!

Maybe we should start a new list, there are loads of people on this one, i'm sure aren't posting still.

Muser · 24/11/2009 10:28

ButIDid got a positive but wasn't sure about it, I hope she's got a bigger fatter one now.

mabh · 24/11/2009 10:11

'partonised'???? Some sort of Dolly Parton assault???!!! See, I can't even spell it. I meant 'patronised'.

mabh · 24/11/2009 10:09

Congratulations jamie and schmoo! plant it must be driving you crazy. Fingers crossed for good news.

Poppy I'm with everyone else. Definately needs looking at!

nymph yes, that's Sharrow Bay, 'the original country house hotel'. The 3 course 'local luncheon' is the off-season special - if you can get over being partonised by the label, it's bloomin' delicious. You'd need to ring and ask for the veggie menu, though - I'm sure they do the same for the cheap deal as they do for the dear one. It's a serious treat and I think you could use one .
