Thank you for tidying me up SparklyAlice, wasn't really sure were to sit! This is my time to BD but I am on nightshift! Don't think this will be my month. Mabye tmi but sure I have seen people talking about 'globs' before on here iykwim! I had one today, is that a good sign?

SparklyAlice · 26/11/2009 09:13

Exactly asianbabe!

Will admit to getting 2 CBD last month convinced i had every symptom so tested on day 20 and 22 and then AF arrived on day 23. Kind of feel that if no AF by next weekend then it is fair game

asianbabe · 26/11/2009 09:05

Hi to all the POAS Buddies

Next weekend is our weekend!!!! Can't really believe its come around so quickly have promised myself not to waste countless amounts of pg tests this month by testing way too early.

Money could be better used on xmas pressies for myself.

Growingabump i have put you in your correct seat on the bus as you were too near the back

FrenchLimeBlossom · 25/11/2009 22:54

Hello fellow passengers, i've been off the bus for a bit because I've been snowed at work and trying not to obsess as much as last month . However now am back for the not quite 2WW, in fact about 1W now. Hope everyone is ok - congrats to the graduates!

This month I have changed my strategy from stressing to relaxing - been for two sessions of acupuncture this cycle and I definitely feel the benefit. SO much more relaxed, and am making more of an effort to escape work and make time for DH and me (chances of continuing this once we have a PFB???) which has got to be a good thing, yes?

Fanjo best of luck this month, will keep fingers crossed for you. Must be v hard to know your DH will be away for so long.

Muser · 25/11/2009 22:50

I'm POASing next weekend! Assuming AF doesn't arrive before then. We can have a whole POAS posse. Heh.

I promised myself this month I would be good and not POAS until period was due. It's proving hard though.

pointsmakeprizes · 25/11/2009 22:40

Hi Fangolina I'm really hoping this will be your month!

SparklyAlice and Asianbabe can I be your POAS buddie too for next weekend? I ov early this month so I am expecting AF sometime next weekend - do you think we can really hold out until then??

TheAuthoress · 25/11/2009 22:06

Thank you liahgen! In that case its 28 days - I came off the pill at the end of September and have had two cycles since then, both perfect 28 days! I was really relieved, and touch wood it'll stay like that - I thought my cycle would have been all over the place!

FanjolinaJolie · 25/11/2009 20:50

Hi ladies,

Not been on the bus this month as this is our last month to try and I have been obsessing too much over it all so decided I needed to chill out. As DH will be in Afghanistan Oct 2010 - April 2011 I don't want to be left with a newborn (and two DD's) or giving birth without him here. It just wouldn't feel right to do this so we won't be trying after this month.

So, if it happens this month Great, if not that's OK too.

Congrats to the BFP's and good luck to everyone!

asianbabe · 25/11/2009 20:46

Hi Sparklyalice

I may also test next weekend we can be poas buddies as we have the same stats !!!! Fingers crossed AF doesn't arive

liahgen · 25/11/2009 20:44

UCL is usual cycle length

TheAuthoress · 25/11/2009 20:33

Hi all!!

I posted a message here last night, but don't have a clue where it has gone!!
Anyway, can someone tell me what UCL means? I notice on the testing list mine has questions marks beside it so I assume it's information I haven't given yet!
Not much happening for me ATM - I'm waiting on AF to sod off then can get back to TTC!!
xx

UmBongo · 25/11/2009 20:03

Sorry your doc was inconclusive lia. Good luck for the next few months

I have just got my blood results back and she said that everything was going OK on the hormone front and that I did ov. That is good news but it still doesn't explain why I am still riding this bus! It is good that it is good, but can I be a pain and not be happy with that? There is no point in putting me onto any drugs as my hormones are actually doing what they are supposed to be. [disappears down irrational circular argument plughole!] note to self - must get dh to do his test!!!!

SparklyAlice · 25/11/2009 17:54

AsianBabe I am doing the same as you, trying to act like a normal sane person after turning into a loony last month. Planning on testing next weekend if no AF (although i suspect there will be) When will you test?

vix206 · 25/11/2009 16:39

I'm still here, just trying not to get too obsessed this month - I was totally taken over by it all last month

Reading every day though to keep up to date with everyone and I'll update with any news from me

liahgen · 25/11/2009 16:15

well I had docs this morning, have cut and pasted this from message sent to friend cos can't be bothered to type it all out again.

Well fsh is good so not approaching perimenopause any time soon. Progesterone was low indicating I either didn't ovulate or more likely test was done on wrong day as it turned into a 25 day month so should have been done day before. I'm fairly certain I'm ov so she said more likely the eggs are just not as good quality now. Thing is now she wants to do 2 more and the next 2 months are gonna fall on bloody weekend days. If they still low then they can give me clomid. If normal then just a case of see what happens. She said don't take soy, both me and Dh to take multi vits and zinc, apart from that very depressing really. No answers and no real sign of any. Gonna book an expensive holiday now.

Think I'm gonna bow out for a while tbh.

Good luck ladies. Will have a look every now and again to see how you all getting on.

plant i really hope you get some answers or a BFP very soon. x

Chulita · 25/11/2009 11:28

plant - I'd go now if I were you, you're a few days over, you've got plenty of symptoms but nothing shows up on the test. If they tell you to wait a few more days, say you're already a few days over and you just want to know what's going on. This must be driving you mad!

asianbabe · 25/11/2009 09:33

Hi All

Hope everyone is well I'm still here too. Sorry I've been a little quiet this month as promised myself I would try and behave like a normal person and not obsess too much about TTC. I think I overdid last month.

Congrats to all the grads!!!

sparklyalice how you doing?

bigmuther for you, but glad your excited for your sister!

poppy I suffer from aneamia too and spatone does help, but tastes like drinking metal! I always put it in a glass of orange juice (because you need Vit C to help absorb the iron).

Well I tested again last night BFN!

I just don't understand what is happening its CD44 now! How long to you think I should leave it before going to the docs, I don't want them to just send me away saying 'wait a little longer, then come back' What would they do anyway, Is there anything the can do?

bigmuther65 · 25/11/2009 08:16

Getting really excited as my sister is due, can,t wait to cuddle my nephew. If i had not MC we had due dates 2 days apart

SparklyAlice · 24/11/2009 20:18

Hello all

I am still here, nothing to report, except crappy skin (feel that is due to eating too much rubbish) no real symptoms whatsoever, but nevermind. I actually can't believe i am on CD17 already. If it hasn't worked this month the we are going to be leaving it until July, mostly because DH is so busy with work during sept, oct, nov, then DD will be starting school the following january, it just makes sense for us.

Poppy i suffer with anemia and take a natural supplement called spatone which seems to start working within about 2 days. Iron pills actually make me physically sick, so this it is my only real option. It is definitely worth a try and as it is natural it doesn't upset tummies.

QueenMercury · 24/11/2009 18:54

wow, more bfp's thats wonderful news. congrats to all with bfps

mrsZaC · 24/11/2009 18:41

thanks shirazz interesting article! I've decided to just leave it a couple of weeks then re-evaulate the situ if AF hasn't turned up.

it's all starting to get a little depressing on here, so sorry to hear about all your troubles ladies I'm sure everything will work out soon, but it's just poo waiting!

not sure what to say to lift our spirits, mmmm spirits! ;) maybe a nice

can someone put me up the back.. I now have no idea what CD i am

PoppyIsApain · 24/11/2009 18:19

Hi just letting you ladies know, the doc thinks it is aneamia, she spent time ruling out a mc which was abit scary, ive got blood tests on thursday
