shirazz WhatKatyDid There are lots of us poas next sunday. At least 3 of us are cd20 today of 28 day cycles (usually)

Want to hold out til then with us?

Shirazz · 27/11/2009 07:23

SparklyAlice how funny - before I even read your post, I went grocery shopping, resisted buying any tests to give me bfn, and instead bought 3 bottles of wine and after shopping went to the pub for dinner! I have been having runny eggs every morning and although I have been cutting down on coffee, I had a couple of nice proper coffee's yesterday and am having one now Still no AF, so this will be the longest my cycle has been but I am also taking the B6 etc so I think it's giving me false hope!!
Good luck everyone else testing.... Did someone say 2 for 1 tests at Boots??

whatkatydidnext · 26/11/2009 22:14

hello ladies !

Can I hop on the August bus? I am TTC cycle 1, day 20 of a 27 day cycle. Not sure how to update the list...

Am due to test on 4th December but couldn't resist Boots BOGOF offer for FR Early Pregnancy Tests today - so may test this weekend...

I have loads of symptoms but they keep coming and going so think I may be imagining most of them..

Here's hoping I see you all on the August antenatal thread !

Loujalou · 26/11/2009 21:58

Nope I don't give up booze in 2ww. I don't drink unless I go out and that is not very frequent. So if I do go out then I will have a few drinks - can't be bothered in getting to pished anymore but that's more to do with the toddler I need to look after. Everything in moderation.

FloweryBoots · 26/11/2009 21:05

Are you other 'POAS next Sunday' girls keping off the booze 'just in case'? What do other poeple do - in the 2ww do you avoid all the stuff you're supposed to when pg? I went out on Tuesay with friends and just didn't think until I'd had a couple of drinks. Stoped then but did think I perhaps should have thought a bit earlier, oops

mrsZaC · 26/11/2009 20:37

hey ladies, it's all going on here, what a busy bus!

No news for me unfortunately, still no AF so no way to track my cycle length yet Not sure quite what to do, to wait patiently for another month obviously but curiosity might get the better of me.. if only those dam sticks were free!!!

love to the bus! x

FloweryBoots · 26/11/2009 19:12

If no AF for me before this group POAS I'll join you! To be honest, don't think this is the month for me. Don't think I've really got any symptoms (or at least I keep trying convince myself the ones I think I have are all in my head, which is probably the more accurate of the two options), and you can't expect too much from the first attempt! But, AF due on 4 Dec so if it hasn't turned up, POAS on 6 is good for me. Promised myself I wouldn't test until actually late. Think I'd rather just have AF turn up then get a -ve.

SparklyAlice · 26/11/2009 16:57

Shirazz have some soft cheese/smoked salmon/big glass of wine and you will definitely be pg

Shirazz · 26/11/2009 14:58

well I was the most hopeful i've ever been this month, but now I have a feeling AF is imminent as I have mild pains that hint it's coming However I do remember thinking AF was coming with dc1 I have had restless legs for the past 2 nights as well which I haven't had since I was last pregnant.... Think i'm in for a big let down aren't I....

lovesaruby · 26/11/2009 12:47

Thank you poppy!
Ill be watching while you all try not to poas! Not even in 2ww yet...

asianbabe · 26/11/2009 12:47

sparklyalice

Here's hoping we can last that long.
Roll on Sunday!!!!!

SparklyAlice · 26/11/2009 12:45

ok, how about we make a pact not to poas before sunday 6th

asianbabe · 26/11/2009 12:43

now now sparklyalice you are beginning to tempt me!! I'm going try and hold out for as long as possible just need to hide my purse so as not to buy anymore CBD tests. They are so expensive and I go through them like a packet of biscuits. (have been known to eat an entire packet in one sitting)

SparklyAlice · 26/11/2009 12:33

Think i might be naughty and test on the friday as DH away over the weekend (or maybe first thing saturday morning)

bigmuther65 · 26/11/2009 12:30

Thanks Asianbabe i think i ovulated on CD12/13 so will be about 14DPO next saturday so really going to try and hold out till then

bigmuther65 · 26/11/2009 12:22

Shirazz · 26/11/2009 10:43

Or rather CD.....

Lucy - thats a bummer!

Shirazz · 26/11/2009 10:42

well I am a little optimistic this month. CS 26 now and waiting.... did one test 2 days ago but guessing way too early on CD 24 when O'ed on CD16. My cycles over the last 6 months - shortest was 25 days and longest 28, however I have been taking B6 and progesterone cream to lengthen luteal phase so that probably all that is happening no doubt and I will be in for a big let down over the next day or so

Fanjolina, that's tough... will you try again just before he leaves like from August or something? Fingers crossed for this month!

lucybrad · 26/11/2009 10:31

argghh - copious ewcm from me, and currently away from home on a break WITH the kids sharing a room grrrrr
