So happy to hear the great news off everyone, it is reminding me of the joy i desperately want to achieve.

FanjolinaJolie · 29/11/2009 21:58

Shirazz - yay for your BFP!! Wonderful news.

I remember missing applying the cream a few days here and there just from forgetting. With DD1 I was very careful but with DD2 much more relaxed and started cutting down on the 'squirt' amount from eight weeks onward and had finished using it by twelve weeks. I wouldn't stop dead though, cut down gradually.

Shirazz · 29/11/2009 20:09

Fanjolina - Thanks for the info - I did get a bfp on Fri, and I intend to keep using it however I ran out on Fri and haven't anymore until arriving until tomorrow so I am having a small panic now and hoping the weekend will be ok with out it????? I never really used all that much just a squirt once a day and re the usage - I just followed what the bottle said and used it from day 12 (eek) I am hoping it is not possible to have too much?

manchestermummy · 29/11/2009 19:44

Am still here too! Currently on day 44, have done about million ebay cheapies. Thought I saw a faint line on one but have decided that was an evaporation line as all the others including 2 FRs were BFNs. Am waiting until Wednesday and am going to the docs if nothing turns up. Am wondering if I perhaps ovulated late or something - would this be possible?

SparklyAlice · 29/11/2009 19:43

Bigmuther i have weakened and bought the FR from boots will hold out as long as possible (although i am very weak on the willpower front)

FanjolinaJolie · 29/11/2009 19:12

Shirazz - re the natural progesterone creams, you need to be very sure that you're applying it after ovulation as it can surpress ovulation if you use it too early in your cycle. If you are using from +ve on the OPK you might be using it too early.

When I was using NPC it I waited until I had detected ovulation using the temperature method then began using the cream from 3dpo onwards. I have had two dd's and used the cream when TTC both so who knows if it did help me or not. If you do get a BFP while using the cream you must continue using until the 12th week so as not to trigger a miscarriage with the drop in progesterone.

Hope you get your BFP very soon.

ilovethebeach · 29/11/2009 14:28

Can be bigmuther. I suffered really badly when newly pg with DC1. Though I did again in our first cycle TTC no.3. Really got my hopes up but nada. But definitely think it's a common symptom- good luck

bigmuther65 · 29/11/2009 13:40

I will hold on a few more days, can,t promise i can hold out till weekend .TMI warning, is being constipated a early signdon,t normally suffer this proplem also boobs are slightly sensitive.

PollyPoo · 29/11/2009 13:37

Congrats Shirazz and Mummy - great news! Lets hope we get some more BFPs soon

Muser · 29/11/2009 12:46

Be strong ladies! Hold out a few more days yet.

SparklyAlice · 29/11/2009 12:41

Bigmuther don't do it!! I am tempted myself, as i couldn't finish a piece of dark chocolate toblerone last night because it tasted 'dusty' was nearly sick mucking the horses out this morning and my tomato soup tasted off. I don't dare get my hopes up though. Although i am going into town this afternoon and may have to buy some Boots BOGOF FR tests......

Muser · 29/11/2009 11:44

Congrats Mummy369. Afraid I'm not going to be added to the BFPs this month. AF arrived a week early today and with a vengeance. I'm back to CD1 and if cycle 3 is my lucky one it'll be a September baby. I've set up the September bus, but hope not to see many of you on it!

Congrats to Shirazz and mummy369

Well, I am on day 14 and we have a serious case of man flu in the house. How much lemsip can you force feed your dh before either he or his swimmers expire?

bigmuther65 · 29/11/2009 09:36

Wow 2 BFP in one day congratulations Shirazz& Mummy369 hope we are on a roll and we see lots more this week.Oh that was early Mummy369 now i really want to POAS

nattiecake · 29/11/2009 00:09

congrats ladies!!!
i agree with ilove though, i couldnt bear to test early

ilovethebeach · 28/11/2009 23:39

Congrats to Shirazz and Mummy369. Fab news and sticky vibes. I am definitely not an early tester- can't bear to see BFN and will just wait it out instead.

PoppyIsApain · 28/11/2009 20:49

Congrats Mummy369, im sooo jealous

Mummy369 · 28/11/2009 20:41

Well, had a really stressful week, some VERY serious PMT going on. Had some cheapo HPT's from Wilkinsons and decided to POAS on Wednesday morning - BFN (yes, I know I'm mad - was only 8 days post-OV), caved and POAS again Thursday pm (I know, ridiculous, supposed to do it early in the morning) but thought I was going mad and might have seen a shadow (that's right - not a line!) so POAS again this morning - same again (but need a VERY strong microscope).

Truly going mad at that point so had to go to BOOTS for their BOGOFF FR tests (on way to work). Got to work and POAS - BFP what a shock - really didn't believe it and I'm, like, only 10 days pregnant!

nattiecake · 28/11/2009 18:38

af due in seven days, not a sausage re the early signs this month.
i wonder if thats a positive sign...?

nymphadora · 28/11/2009 16:57

I cant stand the powders [bawk] and I just cant get them down. I have been drinking loads but not a great weekend to stay in as there is a major festival in town and loads happening about 2 mins from my house.

FloweryBoots · 28/11/2009 16:24

Woo hoo, congrats Shirazz!

I was about to recomend the powder for cistitus - did the trick for me a while back. That and just spending the day drinking constantly. I recomend getting a good book and then just staying on the loo, it'll save all that time getting up and then going back again! You have my smpathy Nymph.

Starting to wonder if I am making up these symptoms or if I really might have some, but they seems to come and go which I assumed ment I imgained them, but perhaps not. Been tired the past few days, but actually feeling fine today after yawning non stop yesterday. Slightly sore boobs too. Do get that before AF but it's more sore nipples usually and this is more sore at the top of my boobs and nipples are fine (sorry TMI )

Told DH and now he's convinved I must be PG so really hope I haven't got his hopes up. Sadly he is now refusing to let me drink anything, but went shopping this morning and bought loads of wines as we've got his parnets here.

SparklyAlice · 28/11/2009 13:19

Hmmmm...

Shirazz · 28/11/2009 13:15

Thanks all!

SparklyAlice - That is exactly what I had - initially I thought they were AF pains but they would come and go so sounds positive!

Chulita · 28/11/2009 13:12

Congratulation Shirazz
Nymph - if you can get Cystocin powder, you dissolve it in water. They sell it in supermarkets/Boots etc. I had cystitis when I first got married and it was horrendous. Cystocin deffo did the trick for me, it's such a horrible feeling...you have my sympathies.

PoppyIsApain · 28/11/2009 12:44

Congrats shirazz
Im still feel quite crappy but ov day soon so going to keep trying. Hope to see loads more positives
