I can't join the clomid threads (although i suspect i'll probably be joining at some point), not 1st time TTC, can't use clearblue digital fertility monitor,so not on that thread, not over 40. Anyone else want to join me on a thread for people who don't fit in with the others.

I'm waiting at the moment to go for an ovarian scan to see if I have PCOS.

Hi all,

Another one looking for a thread to join so thanks for starting this one Choufleur.

I have one dd (almost 4) and we have just started ttc for no 2.

Two and a half weeks in and I can recognise that it is occupying a lot of my thoughts.

I'm clueless about ovulation but I'm guessing I'll learn a lot very soon.

TishTosh21 · 06/10/2009 19:08

choufleur · 06/10/2009 18:19

sunburntats · 05/10/2009 16:36

me too, can i join.

TTC no 2.

have ds aged 6.

ttc for about 3 years.
Starting Clomid in the new year.

Dont have PCOS or anything like that, i just dont ovulate it seems.

im kinda in the middle of waiting to ttc, and spending 3 years ttc.
not really in any "pocket" of people yet.

Hulababy · 05/10/2009 16:34

I don't really fit anywhere either, and am quietly TTC.

My history is that I have 1 DD, who is 7y. She was a while in coming (15m TTC, early mc, then another 15m TTC) Have since had two ops and hormone treatment for Asherman's Syndrome (adhesions within womb caused by c section) and done 6 months of Clomid. Am now on my own, but it is over 5y down the line and still nothing, so I am just kind of getting on without and seeing what will happen.

I don't do the 2ww or OKs and all that monitoring anymore. It is nice to occasionally have a chat about it though, as can't do it in RL really.

Good lcuk to everyone.

TishTosh21 · 05/10/2009 16:30

Hi, its testing day tomorrow!! will be doing a HPT first thing really excited and nervous and praying for a good result.

choufleur · 05/10/2009 16:23

why can't sonographers actually tell you what they see? Had the scan, she pointed outa few small cysts but couldn't tell me if that was a lot or not. A report will be sent to my GP now so still more waiting.

How's everyone else?

Hi tiffanys,

Hi all

Quick update, af caught up with me this morning felt a bit disappointed but am at least glad that I know roughly what my cycle length is so not all bad!

choufleur presentation went very well , i was very pleased! How are you getting on, any updates?

Me and dh are going to try and dtd more this month too but I hear what your saying about it become to mechanical...... i guess it can easily become that way if we are not careful!

maybe ill throw in a lil a little change to spice it up

any news from you tish have you tested yet?

am off now might even have a glass of wine tonight!

good luck to all!

TishTosh21 · 02/10/2009 08:44

Thanks sparechange let me know how you get on too.

Yeah but we enjoy having sex that much we always have even before we started trying so its not much of a change to us

choufleur · 01/10/2009 18:51

we've been trying for more frequently sex too tishtosh but i get fed up as no idea when ovulating. Don't want everything to start t o become very mechanical

OP posts:
sparechange · 01/10/2009 15:50

I'm keeping everything crossed for you TishTosh

TishTosh21 · 01/10/2009 15:09

Haha i cant believe how much like u i am!
Oh maybe the pill period is the withdrawal bleed, hmm lol

Well it will be 28 days on Tues, why is it that the symptoms are the same for AF and preg?? very annoying lol.

Me and my partner were going to wait til xmas but that went out the window a few weeks ago! I was going to wait and have a few "real" periods, and we would use condoms but that didnt really work out so well so we just thought sod it!
We have been having sex almost every day bar a few days when i had a water infection so im hoping on of them got through!

sparechange · 01/10/2009 14:50

Let me know how you get on!
I'm imaganing symptoms left right and centre (although the smell of my own perfume made me retch a couple of days ago)
In reality, I don't think we've had nearly enough sex, and it was my birthday a couple of weeks ago which meant being out drinking for a couple of nights, so it is veeeery unlikely

I think I'm the same as you to day!
I had my last pill on 30th Aug and had a pill period (is that different to withdrawal? I thought they were the same thing - clearly need to do more reading up!!)
Then started my next pack on 6th. I took 1 pill, then DH and I decided to go for it now, rather than wait until after christmas as per our original plan. Got another very light bleed a couple of days later, but nothing at all since.

I have read other posters saying it could take 30+ days to get a proper AF, so I'm trying my best to be patient, but it really isn't my strong point.
The reason we started now rather than wait until the new year is because once I get an idea into my head, there is no such thing as waiting in my book!

TishTosh21 · 01/10/2009 14:37

Hello sparechange!

We are in the exact position! I cant believe someone else is with me almost to the day

I took my last pill on the 1st Sept and had the normal 7 day break with the "pill period" then didnt start my next pack on the 8th like i would have normally.

Ive had no bleeding whatsoever not even withdrawal. I bought a test today because i couldnt hold out any longer, i havent used it yet as my DP wants to be here when i do. Its so tempting to do it 2mo morning but i dont want it to be a false result.
I cant bear the waiting any more!!

sparechange · 01/10/2009 13:11

oooh, tishtosh, I just saw your post
Glad to hear I'm not the only one, but double frustrated that there are two of us in this situation.

Fingers crossed for good news for you if you test next week

sparechange · 01/10/2009 13:04

Can I join you please?
I had popped my head in a couple of the other threads, but since coming off the pill on 6th September, nothing has happened!
No period (except 2 days of very light withdrawal pill bleeding, as usual), no ewcm, no pmt, no tender pre-AF boobs... Zilch!

So until I can work out if my insides are working, I feel like a bit of a fraud saying we are TTC...

TishTosh21 · 01/10/2009 12:57

Im on here every day its v addictive

choufleur · 01/10/2009 12:55

If you're on here much tish you'll figure out what clomid is soon enough. Hope you don't ever have to take it.

It's immensely confusing. My head was spinning after i left the doctor a couple of weeks ago.

hope the presentation went well tiffanys
