Had what may have been an implantation dip 8dpo, is 9dpo way too early to test?

I admit that I did. It was negative. Now I'm depressed! When pregnant with my DD, I did get a positive at 9dpo. Got some 10miu tests arriving from Amazon today. Am I bonkers to even try them? I know I should wait but I CAN'T!!!

Thanks Fanjolina, that's encouraging, but I MUST try not to get my hopes up!

I have read that it takes at least two days from implantation to get a BFP, so you wouldn't expect a result just yet.

I read on FertilityFriend that the vast majority of BFP's are recorded on 13 dpo, the stats were quite interesting.

When I was pregnant with DD1 I got BFN's on 10 and 12 dpo and the following day got BFP on 13 dpo. I had an implantation dip on day 10 dpo.

With DD2 I had implantation dip 9dpo and BFP on 11dpo, so with me it does seem to take at least 2 days to get a BFP after imlantation.

Like you, I test too early as well! I can't help myself. We are TTC #3 and I've already tested on 9 and 10 and 11 dpo - all negative boo hoo. With your first DD you may well have had early implantation (anywhere from 6dop) which gave you a lovely early BFP.

Good luck to you for this month!!
