Hardly the most original title but I didn't want to loose anyone (well that's my excuse for the lack of originality!)

been away again, back now and home for a while so catching up on things and will have my life in order by the end of the week - we have just had so many weekends away.

good weekend on the bd front day 13 so thats always a plus and thinking might try for 15 too (tomorrow) then will have been 10, 13 and 15 which seems like should cover most bases!!

CM not back so wondering if 9 and 10 was the day and it was early... will see what happens next few days

meita sorry you sound like you are having crap time. hope things have been better over weekend

barren sorry - grim

off out for dinner with friends tonight - thats three nights in a row - bet i have gained 4 pounds this weekend - everything i lost since france [dietssuck] will be back on the lean regime tomorrow

hope all you ladies had good weekends xxx

louisesh · 03/10/2009 16:08

Hi all Hope everyones well? Yes on 2ww however don t think for 1 minute i m pg this month BD 3 times at the important time, tailed off a bit since then though!!!!

Off on my cruise next week yeh can t wait soo much more focussed on that than the 2ww...

Just concentrating on putting my latest mc behind me.Does it drive anyone else crazy experiencing the same "deja vu" every month???

We too have looked in to adoption and still think its a viable option. In our area theres a shortage of babies , in fact if you want to adopt a baby the adoption agency will not take you on at present however i m not that fussed about a baby we d be happy with a toddler soo its still an option.

Recovering from a hangover from last night, finishing my packing then off to the cinema i think.Have a nice weekend all

zayja · 03/10/2009 12:12

Hi All!
meita, I know how you're feeling honey, my youngest brother has had all kinds of problems with substance abuse, has low self-esteem and depression, is 30 and lives with my mum. There are times it gets so bad that I would worry about him hurting himself - well he does that all the time when drunk - what I mean is ending his life. You're somewhat helpless in the situation, but I do think saying a prayer or two and letting her know you care is the best you can do. My brother has recently gone back to school for computer repair, got his first grade report and is getting all high marks. I think this could do wonders for him though he's not out of the woods yet.

Back to the busines of ttc, I'm currently in the tww with chamois, MrsR, louise and tiger. Is it as bad for you ladies as it is for me??? It is CRAWLING by at a snails pace. Can hardly stand it! I don't feel I am pregnant, and don't want to get hopes up, yet hopes seem to go up all on their own. [Godpleaseletmebepregnantemoticon]

Sorry barrenbrook that AF got you, I fear I may join you within the week. Whether I do or not, fingers are crossed for BFP's this mo.!

Meita · 02/10/2009 17:20

(did I just write before that, that I was waiting for anything to happen? Should be careful what I wish for.)

Meita · 02/10/2009 17:16

me again.

I'm feeling quite upset. My sister is very frail psychologically and has had all kind of difficulties and problems. Never has had a real relationship. Until recently... she was over the moon, sooo happy. Although she is currently not very well, maybe bordering on clinical depression. Now her new love has gone and broken up with her. She is completely falling apart... And there is nothing I can do. I soooo feel for her... I worry that this is going to break her... I worry for my parents (with whom she lives) because they are losing the strength to deal with it all... Oh if only I could do something.

Meita · 02/10/2009 17:11

hey ladies,

did you notice that the right hand edge of our list forms a neat zig-zag line?

(Is it obvious that I have been staring at the page, waiting for something - anything! - to happen?)

ah, BB I truly believe there has been an invasion of pg women. At least where I work no-one is pg at the moment.

barrenbrook · 02/10/2009 16:30

Hi ladies,

MrsR You are one of our only remaining hopes for now, stay positive, you never know! I have everything crossed (until ovulation of course!). Hope the dreaded 2WW passes quickly for you.

Meita Sorry that AF got you too. THIS month is ours. I can FEEL it!!! And here endeth my positivity!

I am still Mrs grumpy pants, I am hoping this may pass quite soon as DH and I are off out for dinner and have a good drink.

It seems, as I am sure it does to all of you, that there are preggers women EVERYWHERE smugly rubbing their protruding bumps, dammit, even at the gym last night I saw a heavily preggers lady, that was my last place to hide but alas, that has been stolen from me too [feckedoffbeyondbeliefanddyingforadrinkemoticon]

Have a good weekend

Meita · 02/10/2009 10:30

Good morning!

barrenbrook I'm sorry AF got you. I was so hopeful! Why is nature so cruel to us? Giving us hope time and again, just to crush it all soon after?

tiger so what did the EPU say?

MrsR My respect for your stamina! Ah, the eternal symptom spotting game! Well my fingers are crossed for you

cheepz while it is always good to BD when you have fertile CM, it is much more common to have several patches of EWCM before ovulation (the last patch being when you soon ovulate), than to have EWCM again after you ovulated. So if you always have EWCM around CD9 AND around CD14, I'd expect ovulation to be after CD14. But it's not an exact science, so who's to say for certain? Anyway, good for you for having one in the bag! Lol at your pelvic floor exercises - just make sure you don't squeeze the little swimmers too much!

chamois any developments since the negative test? Given the ? for your UCL, could it be you tested too early?
Re: Adoption, well for now we are continuing our attempts at the home-grown variation. It just would be nice to know that adoption is indeed an alternative in case it doesn't work out - relieves the pressure. My worries about being "foreign" is that the agencies might not approve of an English kid not being brought up in a proper English manner; and that as we haven't been here for very long, they would doubt that we have enough of a support network. We don't, really. All our really close friends are back in Switzerland, family too; we know very few people locally. I'm sure that would change once we had a child, but I worry that adoption agencies would see that as a problem.

Anyway, here is FRIDAY'S LIST

Morning

I'm so sorry barrenbrook, don't worry I'll no doubt be seeing you on the July thread .

I forgot to put on the symptom list, increased urination.

It's all in my head. I thought it was the ttc that was hard, but it's not, it's the 2ww.

barrenbrook · 02/10/2009 05:59

The fat lady has sung, it's game over for me again. Bollocks.

Cheepz · 01/10/2009 22:25

oooooooh mrsr you even sound like you're pregnant - I am also feeling protective of your tummy.

dh away, have been clenching pelvic floor all day to keep the boys in - then lying on my back with legs in the air at every opportunity to send them back up - how much of a freak am I!!!

will be at friends tomorrow so will be gunning for a silent shag in order to not let them know whats going on and not wake ds in next room

i also have a runny nose but a) am not sure i have ovulated yet and b) have only had sex once in the last 2 weeks so I think i haev a cold coming on!

night all

MrsRigby · 01/10/2009 22:19

Evening

I think I'm now in the 2ww. Period should be due on 9th October +/- 30 days!!!

I'm 75% sure that I'm pregnant:

problems sleeping;
enhanced smell;
blue veins on breasts;
have put on weight around the tummy;
feeling very protective of my tummy;
have nasal congestion/runny nose;
had a dream last night about eating an egg - apparently this symbolises fertility and new life.

I'm going to look very silly when I get my period.

Anyway, just in case I ovulate later than the average, DH and I are going to have sex again tonight. And just so you all know, I've not drunk any water in over 2 hours.

chamoiscreased · 01/10/2009 13:19

Gave in this morning and tested - BFN. Grr.

meita - I see no reason why you wouldn't be considered for adoption. It's never too early to start chatting to local authorities or agencies about it, but be aware that many do expect you not to be actively TTC whilst going through the process. They do love to ask questions about your sex life. And hey this might be your month for a home grown little one!

tigerbear hope all goes well at the EPU today

cheepz well done on the one in the bag!

mrsR thanks for the tip about sex and water, lol, I'll bear that in mind!

Cheepz · 01/10/2009 10:38

i managed to get over being pissed off and we managed to get one in the bag!!! am hoping the alcohol he had had hasn't compromised either the number or quality of his little men but thats not even something i would have worried about pre mc so im just going to go with it!

barren everything crossed for you honey

chamo wherefore art thou and whats the deal .....

day is looking ok, better than it would have if dh had nott been able to keep his end up at least!

barrenbrook · 01/10/2009 06:09

Morning all. And horrendously early it is too!

Cheepz Hope you managed to stay cool and get some BD ing in. I know what you mean about trying to get it in when your fertile, me and my other half work shifts that clash so it's hard work fitting it in!

Meita Sorry to hear AF got you but pleased it's a fresh start. Here's to this cycle being your sticky one.

Tigerbear Good luck at the EPU.

MrsR Is it wrong that that made me laugh?! The things we do to help us get pg! Sending you some lively vibes to get through your nightly escapades. I take my hat off to you both for having the stamina, esp with a little one already.

AF is due tonight or tomorrow, i'm praying she doesn't show. I still have a small bit of brown stuff, sorry tmi, but it's not turned into anything more. Yet. Fingers crossed.

Have a good day everyone x

tigerbear · 30/09/2009 23:57

Mrsrigby, that is horrid! Did MrRigby not notice you were being sick???!

Cheepz · 30/09/2009 23:18

grrrrr dh is only just on train on way home and i am tired, i had to not be mad at him for being late even though he knew i wanted us to get busy tonight so that when he gets home there is still a chance we can do some bd action, he is away on business tomorrow so next opp friday but even then we are staying with friends so not sure whether we will be doing the business, feel like yelling 'i think i am ovulating you selfish arse think about whats important to me for once please' but can't say anything even though am seriously pissed off, doesn't he get it, its not that easy to get pregnant, he needs to put the effort in too. And of course can't even mention the ovulating word or hes not going to want to do it at all - men are so wierd. why i it all on me {winge] [moan] [noreallyiamstillinaromanticframeofmind]

grrrrrrrr

Cheepz · 30/09/2009 22:15

mrsr you can always be reliied on to brighten my evening

tiger wouldn't it be something!!

meita glad you are able to put {noreallyitsfineafishere] face on and move on to next cycle

i have had a revelation today as i need an [iseeewcm] face and have cramps to boot - we failed to meet in the middle last night but i am just going to jump him when he gets through the door tonight as i am now wondering if i am aving early in cycle - i normally get some ewcm and cramps around day 15 but have always had some at 9 / 10 - i assumed this was not ov as too early but maybe it is! so this month i am going to try for today, friday, sunday and next tuesday - dh will of course know what happening but i don't care - i want to really have him and me both make the effort this month - rather than me settle for a half hearted effort. i am going to have to get him drunk which will reduce the count but witht he increased opportunity i am hoping we will get there.

[iamofftotryandbdtonight]

MrsRigby · 30/09/2009 22:03

Evening

tigerbear I would absolutely love for you to be told when you go tomorrow that your pregnant.

DH and I are absolutely fed up of having sex, every other day for the past 4 months almost. If it hasn't happened this month I'm going to ask the doctor to re-refer me to the gynaecologist. It's not like we don't know if there's a problem, we do, I have PCOS - so I'm not going to have him tell me I need to have been trying for a year.

For everyone's information, I threw up last night whilst having sex (I swallowed it and DH and I carried on ). Never have sex after drinking 1.5 litres of water. Apparently drinking water helps ovulation.

On a positive not we think DS slept through last night. I say think, because we accidentally left the baby monitor downstairs. That said, our room is next to DS. We'd have heard him cry, right?

We're hoping that if he did sleep through last night that he does the same tonight .

Got the milk in the fridge ready, just in case DS decides otherwise.

tigerbear · 30/09/2009 14:25

Hello all,
The EPU called me this morning to say I should really go back for another blood test tomorrow. Pah! Don't really want go back to prove what I already know, but hey ho, at least they are being efficient and making sure it's all done properly. I'm secretly hoping that it will come up pg, but that would be ridiculous, as DH have only BD'd twice since the mc, and AF hasn't been seen at all. Here's to wishful thinking!

Meita · 30/09/2009 09:10

Good morning!

Well I've moved myself to the bottom of the list, as bleed got heavier... and as I never really did believe that I had ovulated, there's not much point in talking myself into believing it could be implantation bleed, is there? Truly, I need that [noreallyitsfinethatAFishere] smiley now - this cycle hasn't been feeling "right" for a while now and am glad it's over and done with. New cycle, new chance!

barrenbrook I hope your spotting has turned out to be better news!

chamois ... I'm bursting with curiosity!

cheepz I hope the french had the desired effect

Meita fellow knicker checker! I've never, ever spotted before and am usually a 28 day cycle girl which is why I found it a bit odd. Have sore boobies and feel completely fooked. Again this could all be down to

  1. Running a half marathon at the weekend
  2. Stress of buying and selling a house
  3. Being mental
  4. AF announcing her early arrival
  5. A combination of the above

I (and I type this with shame) did a Boots cheapie HPT this afternoon, funnily enough it was negative, even though I read the leaflet and it said only accurate from day of your missed period. Pah!

The spotting is still there, although not much, it's still brown (TMI!) and I don't want to say this, looks like what it did when my m/c started or the end of AF.

Here's to thinking positive and we both (and everyone else) get BFP's this month! Woo!

Meita · 29/09/2009 13:57

apples, cheepz those both sound like good ways to get rid of them!

apples with similar thinking, I got OPKs for this/last cycle. Started out posh on CBs, but when they were all used up without result, turned to cheepie e-bay onces. Have tested 21 days with no results. Fat good that did me! Still not 100% convinced the cycle was anovulatory though - could also be that tests didn't show. Seems to be quite common! Anyway what I'm saying is - think carefully before spending lots of ££. Best to do BD when you see fertile CM.

tiger could you phone them up and ask if there is any point in you coming in?

Cheepz · 29/09/2009 13:37

wow - flurry of activity
i have a hormone headache - normally precursor of period of ovulation, so far no ewcm but day is very busy at work and since its french night with dh tonight (we are trying to learn together) i am thinking a little wine, a little va va voom and we might start this months bding season

so glad apples, zayja, barrenbrook and tigerbear all found their way back to the ranch

looks like barrenbrook, chamo and meita may or may not have happy news for us soon lets all hope they are the first of the october bfp's

i always find if i bother to answer the phone at 7 which is when they always call and its someone like that I give the phone to ds to practise his words - that way they get baffled by him saying 'allo, allo, mine is at ome, dis is mine ouse, it dat ganny, daddy comin ome soon, i payed orse at nursree, mummy makin bikit, bubye'

applesaretheonlyfruit · 29/09/2009 13:03

Following what Zayja posted about post mmc weird ovulation times, I'm going out to get a kit. Usually it is CD14 of a UCL28, but who knows?
