Hardly the most original title but I didn't want to loose anyone (well that's my excuse for the lack of originality!)

cheepz totally gutted for you.

I was 4 days late this month but too scared to test . Total opposite of you it seems!

Now on cycle 11 CD9 - am so getting some action this week

boodleboot · 16/11/2009 12:34

cheepz totally feeling your and and if anything like me more than a little bit of ....bloody AF.

as the great george michael says hun, we gotta keep the faith....it will be your turn one month....even if you don't feel it will....chin up chicken....xxx

i am now on CD6 and aim to BD this month on CD9 and CD12. i reckon i ov on the 11th or 12th and have a 16 day luteal phase....thats what i think and those were the days that i BD the last time i got PG. it would co-ordinate with my ovulation signals that i have observed for the last two months too.

no idea what side i will be ovulating off this month but almost don't want to know that so that i just can think it is a 100% chance of falling each month rather than recognising that oh, this is my 70% chance month.....easy to get disheartened that way i should imagine. Anyway i really am just going to trust that God will decide when the right time for us to have a healthy pregnancy is...

Cheepz · 16/11/2009 12:19

definitely AF

gutted - did really think this month ....

timing was right, have had lots of symptoms, probably psychosomatic

thank god holiday looming (and next CD 15 will be while we are away!

on we go - cycle 4 here I come - will start CD1 from tomorrow as always start on the day monitor kicks in.

hope all else ok - forgive me have been very self indulgent and not really paying attention to anything else.

Knew there was a reason why I rarely allow myself to get my hopes up.

boodleboot · 16/11/2009 11:38

arghhhh. feckin AF.....Cheepz - all still might be ok. Its so tough when you really think you are PG....

fingers crossed for you

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

zayja · 16/11/2009 11:14

Hang in there cheepz, may be an implantation bleed...

randomimposter · 16/11/2009 10:36

cheepz... so sorry if it IS AF...

Cheepz · 16/11/2009 10:30

trace of red ...... looks like I have a visitor

crap

Cheepz · 16/11/2009 10:05

right

so CD30 - thats definitely officially late

BUT - Second Digi this morning on pee the right colour Not Pregnant and then went to Tesco and got cheapies - also indicates Not Pregnant - no line. Not even a hint or a shadow of a line ...

No idea whats going on - felt horribly nauseous this morning, trousers are abit tight, no PMS, still feel pg

Now thinking what if I am PG but my HCG levels are really low - does that mean I might be more likely to have another mc even if I am pregnant - like its not a very strong pregnancy?

Or is it that I have had really stressful month and thats causing my period to be late

I know I have to wait and see if AF arrives but I am always 27 - 29 - even in all cycles post mc so its doing my head in

I guess no AF is no AF and I just have to go with that for now ....

Sorry to be such a testing am I or arn't I bore. [sighsindeepfrustration]

randomimposter · 16/11/2009 06:58

ooooo Cheepz

  1. am in total awe at your investigative analysis - amazing
  2. TOTALLY get what you mean - hate the NOT PREGNANT certainty. NOT buying those again.
  3. have everything crossed you get a BBBBBBBBBBBBBFP this morning. Bet you have not had your best night sleep ever huh? GOOD LUCK x
boodleboot · 15/11/2009 23:12

superdrug own ones....

boodleboot · 15/11/2009 23:11

go to sperdrug and get one of theirs....they test at 10ml...very early...

digi's are shite then really aren't they.....i am not going to ever get one of those again....

still....no af is no af..is NO AF.....

crikey i am very excited now......

Cheepz · 15/11/2009 22:46

thanks boodle - you rock

ok so further research shows that 2 lines on any test except CB digi would be a positive but apparently the digi also do a line if LH present too so could be HCG or LH but no way to tell with eye as the test is read by an optical thingamy jig. I am becoming an HPT expert. Did you also know the CB Digi measures once you get to 50ul of HCG but alot of others - all first response at 25ul - so you are far more likely to get an early result from First response! I will not be buying the Digis again!

nearly wasted another 6 quid doing the second one when needed to go again (note frequent urination) had it out of the packet and everything but managed to not do that as when did pee it was like water - would have been negative for sure - there was nothing in my pee except ginger tea.

still no AF, no trace of AF and I am totally nauseous ...

Am going to bed to spend an hour mentally debating whether to do the digi in the morning, or get first response on the way to work. Cant face another Not Pregnant - its much harsher than no line appearing, although you don't spend hours scrutinising it under UV light to see if there is a hint of a line ;)

Would rather get more sensitive test and use the final Digi only if I get bfp from another one and want to see how many weeks.

at least AF nowhere in sight at the mo ...

and no - have said nothing to DH - he would just look at me as if I am nuts

zayja · 15/11/2009 22:39

I'm rooting for you cheepz - BFP! BFP! BFP!

boodleboot · 15/11/2009 22:06

oh cheepz....i have no idea what that means.....test again in the morning....ididn't even know those things COULD come apart so well done you....

xxxxxxx

i am getting excited for you though.....have you told DH?

Cheepz · 15/11/2009 21:09

ok so now i am obsessed

took the bloody thing apart and where there should only be a control line based on the way the thing works (found info on another site - thank god for internet) but there iis a second faint line on both the high and low sensitivity strips - apparently the high tells whether you are, and the low tells by how much - it says you my get a line but it will show not pregnant if the HCG levels are not high enough, so now still none the wiser but feel like a total loser for ripping an HPT apart and drawing my own conclusions about the results!

there must be hcg or there wouldn't be any second line at all..... too much tea [hopefull emoticon]?

Cheepz · 15/11/2009 20:44

F*CK - caved, did test - said not pregnant - AGAIN - but am not sure - had the book symbol flashing while the timer was going off - might have got it too wet, and also had just had two glasses of water and one cup of tea so may have been too dilute? end of day and all.

I don't know, have been nauseous, AF is definitely late by my standards, just have felt and still feel like I am pg, but don't seem to be able to use the CB Digital suposedly foolproof tests right - will test first thing tomorrow - then my mind won't be able to make all these excuses for why it was essentially a BFN.

Then will just have to stop trusting my judgement completely!!

anyone else had problems with these tests - the first one i did didn't work at all.

GAH

boodleboot · 15/11/2009 18:11

test test test test test test......

Cheepz · 15/11/2009 18:03

No AF still so am starting to believe might absolutely be nursing a BFP - but now too scared to test. If is a BFP will be terrified, if not a BFP will be disappointed - feels like a no win...

Cheepz · 14/11/2009 13:34

No AF so far, but not going to test until monday earliest.

boodleboot · 14/11/2009 09:27

bigmutha.....how are you doing today? any news from the doctor?

boodleboot · 14/11/2009 09:26

we are having the most fantastic rain where we are.....coming down like stair rods....won't be popping to the shops today thats for sure...

woken up in a very mood today as the euphoria of TTC again has been rocked by the fact that i have remembered i now only have one tube....apparently it means that the month i ovulate from the right side i have 100percent chance of conception but the month i ovulate from the left it is only 30percent as there is a 30percent chance the other tube can sweep over and collect the egg...its just whether it happens whilst the egg is viable or not or something.

i am going to have to really trust that my body is amazing and that i will get PG...

i hope that you get a BFP today cheepz.....will you be testing?

hello to everyone else

Cheepz · 13/11/2009 21:37

barrenb read your post and thought maybe I had misposted earlier?! thats how messed up the whole process is - am i arnt i am i arnt i - if I can't keep track how the hell are you guys going to xx

barrenbrook · 13/11/2009 19:25

(barrenbrook gives self slap and repeats mantra must read through post before posting, must read through ....)

I meant to say Cheepz so GLAD AF hasn't got you ...

barrenbrook · 13/11/2009 19:20

Meita Thanks, settling in just fine, getting used to having space, and central heating, what a blessing! In the flat we had storage heaters and they are Ruuuuuubish! How are you doing and the slog of TTC?

Bigmuther65 sorry if it is a v early m/c I'm no expert but it sounds like it may be, although trying to think positively could it be implantation or something or was it too heavy for that? May be worth heading to the Dr's if it means getting a bit of investigation done into it all. Sorry, I've not been much help have I!

Boodle Exciting times ahead again for you and Mr B. Very pleased for you indeedy.

Cheepz Sorry AF got you, I am officially banishing her for next month for all of us so we can all get Christmas presents of sticky beans!

My last two cycles have been pants. I had two days of spotting which I optimistically thought could be an implantation bleed, alas AF showed up five days later, then last month I had a day of spotting then AF shows up 4 days early WTF?! Usually regular as clockwork, bang on 28 days then two WTF cycles one after the other. I am attributing it to stress of the move so hopefully this month doesn't turn out the same.
